Told from first person perspective (Aria Alard) A RECKLESS NOTE follows musician/violinist Kace August, and collector Aria Alard. Aria Alard is a collector, a procurer of rare items and artifacts, including vintage wine and the Stradivarius violin. At a recent auction where a rare Stradivarius violin was supposed to be auctioned, Aria will meet violinist Kace August, a man who stirs something deep within our story line heroine but Aria is searching for the pieces of her family history, pieces that are rare and often hard to find including her brother Gio who hasn’t returned any of her calls. What ensues is the quick building romance and relationship between Kace and Aria, and the potential fall-out as Kace knows more about our heroine than she could have ever imagined.

Kace August is tired of the concert circuit, and is finishing the current tour with artist Chris Marek, as they raise funds for various charities around the world. Kace is a man who knows what he wants, and he wants our heroine, no matter the cost. But like our heroine, Kace is keeping secrets, secrets that could very well destroy the building romance between our leading couple as Kace’s secrets directly affect Aria Alard.

The relationship between Kace and Aria is one of immediate attraction but Aria is on a mission to locate several items for her current client when a competitor sees an opportunity to pull Aria from her ongoing search in an effort to gain her knowledge in a search for himself.
