REVIEW: SAINT is the first instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF FURY MC romance series. This is MC member Thorn ‘Saint’ Benson, and Skylar O’Connor’s story line.

Told from first person point of view (Skylar) SAINT follows several years in the life of Skylar O’Connor, from a ten year old girl who fell in love with an older boy, to a woman who struggles with her place in the family. At sixteen years of age, having never known her biological father Skylar;s mother pulled our heroine from the only man she ever called dad, a man who would sacrifice everything for Skylar’s life. At age twenty-one, tired of her mother’s secrets and lies, Skylar heads back to the place she calls home, including the man she has always loved. Enter MC member Thorn ‘Saint’ Benson. What ensues is the rekindling relationship and romance between Saint and Skylar, and the potential fall-out as Skylar becomes collateral damage in a war between MC clubs.

The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

SAINT is a story of betrayal, vengeance, second chances and love. The premise is engaging and captivating; the characters are sassy, colorful and energetic; the romance is steamy and hot. The level of angst is low; the MC lifestyle is mostly hidden from the reader-the usual dark and gritty violence remains behind the scenes or is only revealed a little at a time.
