Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Kinley and Christian were first introduced in book one SECOND CHANCE CONTRACT originally titled ALPHA CEO.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kinley and Christian) using present day and memories from the past, SECOND CHANCE VOW follows in the wake of Kinley Troy demanding a divorce from Christian Troy, her husband and the man that she loves. Kinley and Troy have loved one another from the first time they met; high school sweethearts from opposite sides of the track Kinley and Troy’ s twenty year love affair has struggled for close to ten years following one devastating night that changed their lives forever. Kinley Troy hasn’t been happy for a very long time, and Christian hides his disappointment by working long hours, leaving his wife always alone but a surprise revelation pushes our couple back together, a revelation that had been a long time coming. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Kinley and Christian, as the reader is up close and personal with twenty years of heartbreak, pain, betrayal and trust.

Kinley McKenzie’s earlier years were fraught with neglect and abuse, and our heroine found solace in Christian Troy but Kinley’s life long, best friend Jax Colton has always been a proverbial burr in our hero’s side, a burr that is always there for our story line heroine. Christian has never stopped loving the woman who had stolen his heart and his soul but years of disappointment and heart break have forced our couple in different directions.

The relationship between Christian and Kinley is one of second chances; a rebuilding romance in the wake of our heroine filing for divorce, and the revelations of what their future will hold. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and seductive.

We are reintroduced to Christian’s sister Autumn Troy-Locke, and his best friend and Autumn’s husband Julian Locke(Alpha CEO/Second Chance Contract), as well as Kinley’s best friend Jax Colton, Kinley’s mother Linda, and Christian’s parents Emma and Steven Troy.

SECOND CHANCE VOW is a story of heart break, pain, and grief; enabling and addiction; acceptance and love. The premise is emotional-the author does a wonderful job dragging out the suspense; the romance is captivating; the characters are desperate, lost and struggling.
