REVIEW:STAG is the first instalment in Brooke Summers’ contemporary, adult FURY VIPERS erotic, dark, MC romance series focusing on the members of the Fury Vipers MC. This is road captain Noah ‘Stag’ Wylder, and nineteen year old Club princess Kinsley Anderson’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kinsley and Stag) following two time lines STAG focuses on the building relationship between Fury Vipers MC road captain Noah ‘Stag’ Wylder, and nineteen year old Club princess Kinsley Anderson. Three years earlier, at the age of fifteen, Kinsley’s life imploded, leaving our heroine a shell of her former self. Fast forward to present day wherein a broken Kinsley Anderson returns to the Fury Vipers MC, the only family she has ever known, but a return predicated upon secrets and lies. In the years since Kinsley has been ‘gone’ the membership of the Fury Vipers has changed, including the arrival of a new road captain Noah ‘Stag’ Wylder. Stag knows immediately that all is not well with the return of our heroine, and Stag is willing to place himself in the direct line of fire to uncover the truth, and protect the woman with whom he will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Stag and Kinsley, and the potential fall-out as betrayal at the top forces the Fury Vipers MC to take action in the hopes of destroying everyone who hurt our story line heroine.

Kinsley Anderson knows betrayal first hand, and three years of darkness and h*ll meant three years wherein she would be broken and scarred but the people she loved had no idea to the extent of our heroine’s tragic, helpless and gut-wrenching life, a life she believes is out of her control. Noah ‘Stag’ Wylder doesn’t do relationships, having found a family with the Fury Vipers MC but the return of the Club President’s daughter begins a slow burn of attraction but a burn that is about to set fire to the people in charge.

The relationship between Stag and Kinsley is one of immediate attraction but Kinsley is in no condition or the right frame of mind to enter into a romantic affair. Left broken and battered from the previous three years, Kinsley fears that a return to the Fury Vipers MC is temporary until the reality of her situation sets into motion a vengeance on our heroine’s behalf. Stag’s instant attraction to Kinsley is filled with raw emotion, an emotion that triggers his need to protect the woman with whom he will fall in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and erotic.

We are introduced to the members of the Fury Vipers MC including president Jaws Anderson, VP Tobias ‘Ace’ Anderson, Digger, Preacher, Pyro, Mayhem, as well as the return of Makenna Gallagher (Bloody Union-Made #1), and several members of the Hangman’s Disciples including Stuart ‘Venom’ Usry, Blade and Ripper , and Kinsley’s friend Malice.

“A strong hand clamps down on my thigh, pulling me out of the growing panic that was clawing through my stomach. I glance down and see a tattooed hand gripping my leg. Stag. God. He shouldn’t be touching me. Heat pools between my thighs and I press my legs together.

“Darlin’,” he growls against my ear so that only I can hear him. His breath is hot against my skin and I resist the urge to shiver. “Behave yourself. I’m no saint and if you keep that shit up, I’ll have my fingers so far inside of your pussy that every brother here will know how you sound when you come.”
