Kody Lawton has known pain and lose, she is old friends of both, but when her father turns up dead, the one person in the world she never wanted to see is the one she secretly needs the most. Kody is a spitfire through and through, she takes care of herself and doesn’t trust many people. She learned the hard way what that trust can do when it’s broken.

Hill Gamble left the town of Loveless in his near view mirror for a good reason, and his reason for being be is just as good.
