Review:

Behind the Lies by Robin Perini is her second book in her Montgomery Justice series. I really enjoyed the first book in this romance suspense series, and am happy to say Robin Perini does it again with this book.  I did not want to put this book down, and was able finish this in a day.

Zach Montgomery, our hero, is movie actor and undercover agent in secret.  Zach has always been on the wild side, with his family unable to control him.  Zach’s father tries to find him and try to get him to come home; but during that trip, his father is killed and Zach erroneously blames himself. He keeps his distance from his family, and gets heavily involved in his secret life, which early in the book unravels, and Zach has to change identities to protect himself.  But before he gets to far, he meets someone who will change his priorities.

Jenna Walters, our heroine, is now on the run with her son Sam.  She discovers an awful secret about her husband, Brad, that will endanger her life, and barely escapes.  She hides in an empty house next door, which belongs to Zach. Once Zach comes home to get his things to run, someone steals his car.  Zach meet Jenna and Sam.

This was such an exciting, and fun story.  At first Jenna doesn’t trust Zach, as she thought her husband was a good guy.  But in time, Jenna has no choice, since she has no money, and sees that Zach is protecting them, even at the cost of losing his own cover.  We watch Zach, Jenna and Sam travel to escape a number of people chasing them….Jenna’s husband, the CIA traitor, and a fanatical arab man bent on destroying Zach.  I will say that some scenes are depressing with some torture involved.

During their escapes, slowly Zach and Jenna begin to care about each other, but each knows that there is no future.  Zach will do what he can to help Jenna, and leave to keep her safe; and Jenna is determined to not leave any ties loose for her husband to find her and her son, not to mention put Zach in danger.

This was an exciting story all the way through, with the last half of the book non stop action. I loved seeing the Montgomery family come together to help them, as they find themselves also in the middle.  Perini does such a good job of bringing all the pieces together, with so many surprises and twists, with you holding your breath til the very end. The romance between Zach and Jenna was awesome, as I loved them together.  The sex between was pretty steamy too.  If you want romance, sex, excitement, danger, non stop action and a book you cannot put down from start to finish, then look no further then Behind the Lies.

In Her Sights by Robin Perini – a Review

In Her Sights by Robin Perini – a Review

In Her Sights

Description:
Jasmine ?Jazz? Parker, Jefferson County SWAT’s only female sniper, can thread the eye of a needle with a bullet. But she carries with her a secret from her past that she thought she buried for good at the age of fifteen. Two years ago she even drove away the one man she believed she could love ? ex?Army Ranger turned reporter Luke Montgomery ? to keep her past hidden. But now, in a fleeting second, the time it takes for one clean shot, one perfect hit, to save the life of the governor’s daughter, Jazz’s world begins to crumble around her. When Luke splashes her face and name across the front page of the newspaper, a vicious enemy from her past returns seeking vengeance without compromise. Jazz is forced to turn to the one man she can never have before she and everyone she cares about pays the ultimate price. Full of explosive action and almost unbearable suspense, In Her Sights is a relentless, steamy thriller surprisingly infused with soul and poignancy.

Review:

In her Sight is a quick paced romance suspense novel by Robin Perini The story begins as the swat team has zeroed in on a kidnapper, and we meet our heroine, Jazz Parker.  Jazz is the lone female sniper on this team, and even though she is the best, she is somewhat resented by some of the men.  But mostly because Jazz keeps to herself, wanting her privacy, as she unbeknownst to them, has a secret past, which she hides.   Jazz kills the kidnapper with one shot to save the child, and is the hero, which does not last long, as she misses the next assignment, causing a team member to be hurt.

But Jazz knows she never misses, and begins to realize that someone is sabotaging her.  We meet our hero Luke Montgomery,  who was Jazz’s lover, before she dumped him.  He returns just in time to help Jazz try to find out who is trying to ruin her.  At first Jazz does not want Luke’s help, mainly because she knows she has feelings for him, but her secret past from her childhood days, causes her to back off.   Luke is an investigative reporter, which was the main reason Jazz broke up with him, as she feared he would find out about her past life.

As the story flows along nicely, we learn more and more about Jazz.  Luke tries to get her to tell him more about what she is hiding, and when things get rough, Jazz will begin to trust Luke. Jazz’s life is falling apart, being suspended from her job; threats being left for her; blamed for the death of another cop.  From the start, I really liked Jazz, as she is a tough, strong cop, who has hidden her horrific childhood, and built a life for herself.  But to protect Luke and his family, Jazz tries to pull away and solve this mystery on her own.

With danger at every turn, and Luke not letting her out of his sight, they embark on and exciting thriller, which is totally intense right to the end.  It was also a great story background with Jazz’s past that comes back to haunt herI liked Jazz and Luke, as you can feel their love, despite all the odds.  Perini does a good job keeping us hooked, as it was hard to put the book down until you finished it.  If you want a quick and fast romance suspense, I recommend In her Sights.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Released April 3, 2013

Landon “Blackhawk” Walker is ready to get out of the Navy SEALs. He has seen and done enough, and can’t wait to get to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where three tasks await him: get back into civilian mode, take a boat out to the El Arco Rocks, and win back the heart of the woman he lost because of his career.

Maya Gonzalez has tired of the heartbreak that comes with Landon’s deployments year after year. When he walks back into her life, she cannot deny her heart, despite her reservations.

As they lose themselves in each other and the beauty of Cabo, their passion is rekindled once again, but Maya knows that one phone call means deployment for Landon, putting an end to their reunion, and possibly their relationship.

*****************

REVIEW: CHICA BELLA is a short story in the Honor Guard Series of novellas. This particular storyline is a contemporary romance novella about Navy SEAL Landon Walker and the decision he must make as to whether to return for a sixth tour of duty or remain behind and claim the woman who has stolen his heart.

Landon has given his commander two weeks-two weeks to find a replacement. Landon is tired of the blood; the death and the heartbreaking sorrow of war. Returning State side, Landon goes to the one place he hopes he will be welcomed with open arms. And if the woman he loves is willing to forgive him for breaking her heart, Landon will be willing to start a new life and a new career in the small Mexican resort town that has welcomed him home.

Chica Bella is a storyline that focuses on one man’s decision to put the horrors of war behind and face the possibility that it may be too late for his heart. Carly Fall pulls the reader into the storyline with our hero’s heartbreaking angst that the woman he loves may have moved on without him. But in true contemporary romance style, there will be a HEA but not before our heroine believes that she has come second-once again. Chica Bella is a well-written sometimes heart breaking AND heartwarming short story perfect for a lazy afternoon.

Along the way she is discovers love, betrayal, heartache, friendship, and answers to questions she never knew ever existed.

Series Spotlight Black and White

Goddess Legacy
Goddess Series, Book 1

Goddess Legacy Cover

Legacy Kore is an average seventeen year old with your basic insane crush on the hottest guy in school… rather Adin Shepard was the hottest guy in school before he graduated a couple of weeks ago. Now it’s summer vacation and she’s not sure when she’ll get to see him again. Until he shows up at her surprise seventeenth birthday party. Cue saliva glands–it’s time to drool.

But her giddiness is cut short when her guardian delivers an emotional blow, telling Legacy her mother hadn’t died when she was baby, but that she’d left for Legacy’s protection all those years ago. After the initial shock, she expects some story about how her mother was in the Witness Protection Program or something else just as crazy, but when she’s told that her mother is a Greek Goddess and that Legacy is changing into one too, she thinks her guardian needs a trip to a mental hospital. Legacy a goddess? Um, yeah. Right. And her BFF is the Easter Bunny.

While trying to make sense out of something that was impossible to believe, Adin asks Legacy out on a date. She is thrilled that her fantasy might become a reality, but when she meets the new guy in town, River, she discovers everything isn’t always as it seems, and the legacy she wants just might not be the legacy she is destined to have.

She’s ready to take their relationship to the next level, regardless of any bond she might have with River and any bond Adin has with Venus.

Getting even. And oh boy, she is going to get even!

Legacy dives into a betrayal of her own making as she teaches her lesson. But can she deliver her punishment without losing her true self in the process, or will the bitter feeling of keeping her enemy close backfire and propel her down a road she never dreamed she’d travel?

One thing’s for certain—revenge doesn’t come without a price.

The Goddess Legacy- The Goddess Secret by M.W. Muse – Reviews

The Goddess Legacy- The Goddess Secret by M.W. Muse – Reviews

The following reviews are the first two books of The Goddess series by M.W. Muse. The third book was recently released, with the blurb detailing information in our Spotlight on M.W. Muse.

Goddess Legacy

goddess legacy

Goddess Legacy is the first book in the Goddess Series by MW Muse.

High school is over for the summer and Legacy Kore is wondering if and when she will see her high school crush, newly graduated Adin Shepard again. Until he shows up at her surprise seventeenth birthday party – acting very friendly.  It’s then that she realizes that he may feel more for her than just friends.

Her excitement is short lived when after the party her guardian, Lissa informs her that her mother, whom she thought had died years ago, was actually still alive and in fact, a Greek Goddess, and that Legacy will possibly herself ascend into a Greek Goddess on her eighteenth birthday.  Emotionally wrought and exhausted from the days events, Legacy goes to sleep where she begins to have vivid dreams of storms, snakes and tornado’s.

Seeking solace in her best friend Calli Rhodes, Legacy confides in her what she has learned about her mother and herself. Just when she thought her life couldn’t get any stranger, Adin asks her out on a date – and for a brief moment in time Legacy tries to forget everything else and live in the moment that is unfolding in front of her. Could it possible that what she has wanted for so long, is about to become her reality?  Could her dream of a relationship with Adin come true?  Just as this is about to happen she meets an alarming handsome young man named River Rysaor.  Turns out River knows a lot more than Legacy could imagine, and opens a whole new world to her.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the Greek Mythology aspect of it. The relationship between Legacy and Adin is romantic and flirty.  Although at times I found Adin to be a bit annoying at how slow he wanted to take the relationship, but in the end I respected the reasoning why and found him completely endearing.  River adds an almost evil aspect to the story – yet you can’t quite figure out if he himself is evil or good? I enjoyed the friendship between Calli and Legacy – it brought back memories of myself with my best friend at that age.  Their relationship was real and believable.  Although I don’t think we know everything that there is to know about Calli yet.  The only part of the story that I had an issue with was Legacy’s dreams.  At times they were monotonous and unnecessary.  I found myself at one point putting the book down because I just could not possibly read another dream scene.  With that being said and overlooked – I loved the book and can not wait for the second in the series.  There are so many unanswered questions and so many things left unknown.

Goddess Secret

goddess secret

Goddess Secret is the second in the Goddess Series and while a bit too short for my liking, it was a wonderful and mythical continuation of Legacy’s life. Legacy is faced with her upcoming ascension and she thinks she has this goddess thing worked out. But as her relationship with Adin gets steamier and her emotions begin to take over she realizes that how she feels controls much more than she ever thought possible. And one secret is weighing heavily on her soul. How can one girl keep a secret so vital to the well-being of all those around her to herself, and will she be able to?

Legacy and Adin’s relationship continues to evolve as more players in the mythological game come to the foreground. Venus is the goddess Adin is bonded to, and her and Adin now attend college together. Will this cause heartache between Legacy and Adin or will this make their relationship stronger? I have fallen head over heels for Adin and his gentlemanly ways! I am very excited to read the next book in this series and to see where the story takes Legacy next.

Inferno-Chronicles of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon – a Review

Inferno

Links to order Inferno: Amazon / Barnes & Noble / The Book Depository / Kobo

Description:
Setting: Modern New Orleans

The heat is on, and a new threat to humanity has risen…

Nick has his driver’s license and he’s not afraid to use it. But turning sixteen isn’t what he thought it would be. While other boys his age are worried about prom dates and applying for college, Nick is neck deep in enemies out to stop him from living another day. No longer sure if he can trust anyone, his only ally seems to be the one person he’s been told will ultimately kill him.

But life spent serving the undead is anything except ordinary. And those out to get him have summoned an ancient force so powerful even the gods fear it. As Nick learns to command and control the elements, the one he must master in order to combat his latest foe is the one most likely to destroy him. As the old proverb goes, fire knows nothing of mercy, and if Nick is to survive this latest round, he will have to sacrifice a part of himself. However, the best sacrifice is seldom the sanest move. Sometimes it’s the one that leaves your enemies confused, and you even more so.

And sometimes, you have to trust your enemy to save your friends. But what do you do when that enemy is you?

Review:

Once again Ms. Kenyon has hit the jackpot.  Inferno picks up right where Infamous leaves off and continues to take the reader on a wild adventure.  Just when I think events and storylines will finally come together and start to answer some of my questions, she goes and throws another curve, introduces new characters and completely turns my thoughts upside down.  As much as I want to curse her for that, I can’t because it keeps me coming back for more, time and again.  This series is one that is forever keeping me on my toes wondering where the heck she’s going to go next and how will it affect Dark Hunter Nick, and his future self, Ambrose.  If anything, that is the hardest part of this series for me because I’ve read all her DH books, and know what’s happened there, but in this one, I never know what’s coming next, what choice Nick makes that may alter the future, etc.  How she’s making it all work is beyond me, but who am I to question a genius at storytelling.

Within Inferno we get to see Nick starting to come into his own more, with regards to his Malachai powers.  We start to see the internal battle he will face daily between his humanity and the darkness of the Malachai powers he was born with.  One can’t help but root for Nick to face those dark moments and over come them.  There are moments in the book where we see the lure of the dark powers attempting to over come Nick, but at the last moment something happens to turn him away from those dark calls and remember why it’s so important to stay to on the right path and do the right thing.  Nick has a good kind heart, one his mom is forever making sure stays beating and walking the good path.  Speaking of Nick’s mom, she is one fierce and protective momma and anyone who tries to hurt her Nick had better watch out.  I really like Cherise and believe that her humanity and blood that flow in Nick will play a vital part in which path Nick will eventually take.  Everything that she has instilled in Nick always comes through in the end to help him make the right choice to beat back the darkness within him.  The scenes with Nick and his mom are touching and very heartfelt.  The love they have for each other just flows off the pages.

Cherise isn’t the only one who is forever influencing Nick and his humanity.  We also get to see a lot of Acheron in Inferno and his relationship with Nick.  They are very close friends and seeing this budding relationship and how well they get along with each other really makes me sad because I know what’s coming down the road.  If anyone’s a Kenyon fan like I am, then you know what I mean.  As much as Ash is a big influence and help to Nick in Inferno, so too is Caleb.  We really get to see the friendship between Nick and Caleb grow. No longer is Nick just a responsibility to Caleb due to Adarian and his powers over Caleb.  These two have become friends who would die for each other, and we see this in conversations between the two of them even though they don’t openly admit it.

Along with the friendships, Nick’s growing Malachai powers, and of course trouble knocking on Nick’s door at every turn, Kenyon does throw a few twists and surprising moments into Inferno.  For instance, the most feared and evilest creature in the universe actually having a heart and being capable of love.  Yes people, we see Adarian vulnerable and giving up his life to save the one person he ever treasured, Nick’s mom.  I was shocked when I read this scene(still rubbing my butt from my fall off the couch), since Adarian is rotten to the core, but I’m hoping that this may be a good sign and in Nick’s favour. Another scene that had me reeling was one with Artemis, in the distant future.  As she’s hiding from Ambrose who at this point is full on Malachai, she seems to have a epiphany of sorts and realizes that if she is to survive and possibly save what’s left of humanity and Ambrose from his darkness then she needs to step up to the plate.  Yes folks, it looks as though there may be redemption in the cards for the old heifer goddess down the road.  I’m still on the fence over that idea since I still can’t stand her for everything she put Ash through in his life before he met Tory.  However, any scene she’s in with Nick she seems like she’s changed, and really cares for him.  I just hope this doesn’t mean that she will be his HEA.  I don’t want the two of them together, too much bad blood and history there for my liking.   Having said that, Artemis isn’t the only one with redemption in Inferno.  Kody is redeemed in Nick’s eyes too, and we also learn who and what exactly Kody/Nekoda is.  On top of that we see a scene from one of Nick’s futures and learn that he and Kody are together, so I guess I can only take that for what’s its worth and with a grain of salt since nothing in this series is set in stone. Events both past, present and future are forever changing where poor Nick is concerned.  I wouldn’t wish his situation on my worst enemy.

As for the rest of the book, I loved every moment of it.  I found it a fast read, fast paced, with lots of action and drama.  Of course it wouldn’t be a Kenyon book without her classic Kenyon humour and fantastic one liners/comments.  I really enjoyed the interactions between Nick and Caleb this time around, I’m becoming  a fan of Caleb and would love to see him get his own story down the road.  I also enjoyed the flashes to the future where we get to see different scenarios that could happen for Nick/Ambrose.  If we go by those flashes into the future, are we seeing one of Nick’s HEA’s, or is there someone out there we have yet to meet.  Can Nick handle the full force of the Malachai powers and stay to the good, or will he eventually succumb and become what Ambrose is telling him he can’t let happen?  Will Nick/Ambrose be able to save their mom or will she still suffer the same demise?  These are just some of the questions that have popped into my mind well reading this book.  I have many more, but I don’t want to make your heads spin, cause trust me, mines spinning enough for all of us.  Inferno is a great addition to the Chronicles of Nick series.  It has everything a Kenyon fan could ask for and more.  I can’t wait to read the next installment.  If the epilogue has anything to do with what’s in store for Nick next, then rest assured we are in for one wild and very funny ride in Illusion coming out spring.  Enjoy and happy reading.

Midnight Exposure/Midnight Sacrifice by Melinda Leigh-a review

Midnight Exposure/Midnight Sacrifice by Melinda Leigh-2 part review

Mdinight ExposureMidnight Exposure (Midnight #1) by Melinda Leigh-released August 2012

Amazon.ca / Amazon.com / Barnes and Noble / The Book Depository

Midnight Exposure, written by Melinda Leigh, takes us on a thrilling adventure in love and death by way of Huntsville, Maine. Jayne Sullivan is a struggling photographer from Philadelphia who has the potential to wipe her family’s debt by taking a picture for a tabloid magazine of the elusive sculptor, Reed Kimball. Their meeting sets off a series of terrifying events, of combined efforts that prove essential to their survival, and most rewardingly, of a new stage in their lives; a new life they were too afraid to consider.

A casual friend turned violent stalker is now on parole in Philadelphia (Jayne’s brother keeps her aware of his whereabouts). With so much distance behind her, you’d think Jayne would feel safe…save for that all too familiar feeling of being watched again. Just one picture. One picture of R.S. Morgan and Jayne would pay for her younger brother’s hospital bills. Unbeknownst to Jayne, she happens to be staying in a tiny town that’s currently investigating the disappearances of 2 teenage boys. Ms. Leigh leads us about town and introduces us to a supporting cast of characters whose quirks quickly put your mind to work: Who is overly friendly? Who seems shady?

Former police officer, Reed Kimball fled Atlanta 5 years ago following the mysterious death of his wife. He wasn’t found guilty, but rumors suggested foul play and the investigation went unresolved for so long, Reed moved away with his son to escape the media’s attention. This isn’t necessary to divulge in a new town, right?

People would stick together here. Natives were shy of tourists and newcomers, but once you were in, you were golden. If only Reed could be sure the town wouldn’t turn on him like the city of Atlanta. The backing of the community would help him make a stand. He shouldn’t have hidden his identity all these years. The townspeople were sure to resent being lied to.

I have to say Ms. Leigh developed the story in an order I didn’t quite love. Conventions allow for a romance to blossom before the heroine is embroiled in a major drama (Jayne is kidnapped by a deranged man obsessed with Druid celebrations where she is the featured attraction), but the trouble befalls Jayne earlier than I expected. Would Reed feel compelled to help a veritable stranger? Sure, there was a mutual attraction, but he doesn’t owe her anything; their brief interaction consisted of a coffee/hot chocolate date. But Reed’s instincts are honed and he is such a swoon-worthy hero, he’s ready to lend his strengths when action demands his involvement. [Hey, Reed, I could realllly use your assistance in Southern California!]

The love story was complicated. Having survived an attack and subsequent trial back home, Jayne doesn’t trust easily. Reed is so focused on raising his son in a healthy environment, he loses sight of the need for his own personal life. The attraction between Jayne and Reed is undeniable, but they outdo each other in a maddening dance of “arm’s length” limits (yeah, tell that to their honest inner voices – that’s where all the good stuff is heard!). Their courtship bordered on YA angst after a while. Denying a caress; refusing a simple touch — these undemanding, yet genuine signs of support had to be averted or they would send the wrong message. Ugh! But as in all worthy love stories, Happily Ever Afters are earned. We are rewarded with a healthy dose of steam, but most importantly, the dismantling of emotional walls with honest discourse. I love it when that happens!

Jayne is no wilting flower and proves herself a worthy adversary to the maniac pursuing her relentlessly (there is a second kidnap attempt on her life and even Reed has to dodge a bullet or two!). A confrontation at the end culminates the story’s excitement and uncovers a small town’s secrets, the perpetrator’s identity and an accomplice who gets away…keeping the threat to the couple’s safety and happiness in hiatus. I cannot wait to dive into the sequel, my friends! Jayne’s brothers come into town to take her home to Philadelphia, but Reed’s hold of her heart doesn’t relent so easily. We are introduced to Jayne’s youngest brother, Danny, rather late into Midnight Sacrifice (his hospital bills were the original purpose behind Jayne’s visit to Maine, remember?), but he happens upon a pivotal struggle at the book’s conclusion and ultimately sets up the sequel, Midnight Sacrifice. Not only do I want to see Reed and Jayne set down roots somewhere, but I want the culprit found! How can Jayne and Reed embrace their new life when they’re not done looking over their shoulders?

Midnight SacrificeMidnight Sacrifice (Midnight #2) by Melinda Leigh-released April 16, 2013

“The state police detective could rationalize all he wanted, but Danny knew in his soul that the danger still centered in Huntsville. The quaint little town, with its postcard-perfect views, was the hub for something evil.”

In my spoil-free effort of herculean proportions, the accomplice who managed to escape from Midnight Exposure, is featured in Midnight Sacrifice; now the bigger bad. Mandy Brown was involved in a relationship with the accomplice, only she’s not offering up any details; especially not when pictures depicting violence of her beloved brother arrive at her house as a clear signal to remain quiet. Everyone thinks the accomplice is long gone or dead. Mandy feels the opposite in her gut. So does Danny Sullivan, Jayne’s youngest brother, whom stumbled upon the violent exchange between Mandy and the accomplice at the end of Midnight Exposure. Danny and Mandy resume the hunt for the accomplice when danger seeks to destroy their families.

Defiling the Celtic tradition of Beltane, the accomplice mirrors the original perpetrator from Midnight Exposure’s actions to save a loved one.
Come Beltane Eve, she was to be his May Queen, his flower bride, the pure one who signified strength, renewal, and growth. Once the Bel-fire had eradicated…disease, he would tap into nature’s energy through Mandy. [Accomplice] would die and be reborn youthful and healthy. [Accomplice] would have a brand-new life after the ceremony. He could begin again. With Mandy at his side.

Unfortunately, human sacrifice is required and those offerings weren’t going to go willingly. Snatching a father and his son from their campground, three young ladies hiking locally (both sets whom were only visiting, how horrible is that?!), a person near and dear to Mandy and an important resident of Huntsville, the innocent victims are being primed for their roles in the macabre celebration.

Having read my share of thrillers, I know that stalking is a process, it requires a methodical mind to execute nefarious plans (my creepy radar goes into overdrive), but sometimes I wished Ms. Leigh would just get to it instead of supplying excessive details. Truth is, while the mystery was gripping (I was riveted until the book’s big reveal), Ms. Leigh won me over with the swoon-worthy love story…again. Danny and Mandy pick up where Reed and Jayne left off, only the secret Mandy holds is enough (probably) to send Danny reeling from his currently “healthy” state of mind (being an Iraqi army survivor). Like I said, there was so much action to experience, so many layers to the mystery, I was cringing for the sound of impact, lol! When Danny discovers Mandy’s involvement with the accomplice, will he have developed enough genuine feelings for Mandy to overlook her less than honest approach? Are Mandy’s secrets her ultimate demise? While there were moments of insecurity similar to Reed and Jayne, Ms. Leigh caught her stride with Danny and Mandy. Gone were the overly hesitant gestures. *Applauding* There are resolutions to all plots – you will feel relieved.

When I reached The End, I sighed aloud (ok, I sobbed at the end); always a sign of a good book, right? Ms. Leigh has a great talent for chilling and thrilling us with her writing. I thought about returning to this book the second my children went to sleep and now that I’m done, I’ll miss Huntsville and its intriguing community. The characters developed while facing adversity and that’s what this reviewer needed. An older Sullivan brother, Conor, came into town to lend support to Danny. Even though his parts were minor, working alongside the local curator, Louisa, I was quickly wrapped up in their connection. To the point I’m crossing my fingers for their own book! Perhaps this glowing review could convince Ms. Leigh? I should mention I have this thing for brothers…
