Malcolm Saint is absolute Sin, and I’ve become a hopeless Sinner.

Now that the assignment is over, Saint wants something from me–something unexpected–and I want this wicked playboy’s heart. But how can I prove to the man who trusts no one that I’m worthy of becoming his plus one?

••••••••••••

REVIEW: MANWHORE +1 is the second installment in Katy Evans’s adult, contemporary Manwhore erotic, romance series focusing on billionaire businessman Malcolm Saint, and journalist Rachel Livingston. MANWHORE + 1 is the continuing story of Malcolm and Rachel, and therefore should not be read as a stand alone; Manwhore (book 1) ends on a cliffhanger; the fall out and reconciliation are addressed in Manwhore + 1.

Told from first person point of view (Rachel) MANWHORE +1 begins approximately four weeks following the final events of book 1 wherein Malcolm discovers that Rachel’s intentions to write a biographical storyline about him fell somewhere between a tell all expose and a paparazzi nightmare. Malcolm and Rachel’s relationship had grown personal, and in this, Malcolm believed Rachel’s betrayal was unforgivable and unprofessional-someone had leaked the intimate details of Malcolm’s life, and Rachel was Malcolm’s first source of betrayal.

MANWHORE +1 is a second chance storyline that follows the rebuilding on Malcolm and Rachel’s relationship. Malcolm offers Rachel a position within his company but has no intention of rekindling their affair. Rachel struggles with her attraction and need for Malcolm, and refuses his offer of friendship-only. What ensues is a storyline of attraction, need, and sexual seduction as Malcolm continues to fall for the woman who broke his heart.

Katy Evans has a distinctive style of writing; her characters are intense, colorful and oft times disillusioned with the world but her redundancy and continuous reminders about certain aspects of her characters can be distracting e.g. the color of Malcolm’s eyes (or Remy’s need to smell). Sometimes too many reminders become nothing but filler in the mind of the reader.

The $exual attraction between Malcolm and Rachel is intoxicating and all consuming. There is no denying that Malcolm is unable to stay angry at Rachel; his need and want of the journalist borders on obsessive-heightened by the awareness that Rachel feels that same way. Theirs is a profound, sexually aggressive, and impassioned love fueled by beauty and need. But saying that, a good portion of the storyline focuses on the $exual aspect of their relationship thus rendering very little angst or drama with the reconciliation of our couple. Malcolm was very quick to forgive and accept Rachel back into his life; his growing love for Rachel never waivered.

MANWHORE + 1 is a story of second chances; a tale of seduction, romance, $ex and love. The characters are intense, emotional and passionate; the romance highly $exual and erotic; the happily ever after not unexpected. Katy Evans will enchant with her storylines-there is always something fascinating about her characters and their lives.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 28, 2015

Keep your friends close but your enemies within stabbing distance.

One important lesson I’ve learned in the assassination business is that to be the best you have to roll with the punches. Now that I’m queen of Ashland’s underworld—by default, not by choice—a lot more punches are being thrown my way. But I suppose that’s the price of victory for taking down some of the underworld’s top dogs. Good thing I have my Ice and Stone magic to help me survive my volatile new position. Just when I think things are finally settling down, someone tries to murder me during a hush-hush underworld meeting. But the real surprise is how strangely familiar my shadowy assailant seems to be.

My job is to maintain order among killers, crooks, and thieves, and soon I’m embroiled in a bloody game where the ability to keep secrets could be the greatest superpower of all. My enemies have all sharpened their knives and laid their traps, waiting for me to fall. But this Spider weaves her own webs of death

Sandy’s Review

SPIDER’S TRAP is the thirteenth full-length installment in Jennifer Estep’s adult, contemporary Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series focusing on elemental assassin Gin Blanco aka The Spider. With her dual elements of stone and ice, Gin is a one woman force of nature’s power.

Told from first person point of view (Gin Blanco) SPIDER’S TRAP finds Gin facing a new but familiar enemy, in the fictional town of Ashland, whose elemental strength may be more than Gin had anticipated. As the new head of Ashland’s underworld, Gin must mediate between rival kingpins and settle disputes, all the while trying to ward off the attacks against the people that she loves. When an enemy from the past resurfaces looking for revenge, Gin makes it her mission to stay one step ahead-but is Gin the target or is someone else?

SPIDER’S TRAP brings together all of Gin’s elemental friends, vampires, giants and dwarves. Owen returns as Gin’s love interest but the romance is always limited in UF storylines; Finn continues to make impressions on the ladies; and memories of Fletcher continue to direct Gin on her path of knowledge and understanding. Gin and Bria’s relationship is no longer combative and hasn’t been for several storylines; Jo Jo and Sophia continue to play their supporting roles as protector and healer.

Jennifer Estep infuses some of the backstory and history between Gin and the previous evil elementals who have threatened our heroine or wreaked havoc on her family and friends. There is a familiarity to the storyline as old stories are revisited and the past comes full circle; Fletcher’s letters, files and lessons are a major part of the storyline (and series) premise as Gin continues her mentor’s job.

SPIDER’S TRAP is an engaging and intriguing addition to Jennifer Estep’s Elemental Assassin urban fantasy series that blends magic with the elementals; the supernatural with reality. There is the usual mayhem, violence, blood shed and death, but Gin, more or less, comes out of this adventure unharmed-others may not be so lucky. Gin’s evolution throughout the series finds our heroine stopping to consider all outcomes before jumping head first into a battle she may not be ready to lose-Gin’s overconfidence is often her Achilles heal.

Jennifer Estep’s Elemental Assassin series and Gin Blanco are a ‘go to’ read every time.

____________

Barb’s Review

Spider’s Trap by Jennifer Estep is the 13th book in her fantastic Elemental Assassin series. Gin Blanco is our heroine in this series, and she is one of the best kick-ass heroines I have read. Gin is an assassin with the name Spider, but in recent books, her identity which was hidden is now known. Gin is tough as they come, and throughout this series, she has killed many in self defense, killing evil beings, or to save those of her friends/family, whom she is loyal to. Gin thinks nothing of putting herself in continual danger, and in each story that Jennifer Estep so wonderfully creates, Gin faces off against the ultimate powerful nemesis and they just keep getting stronger and more powerful.

With the demise of Mab and Madeline Monroe in the last few books, Gin has been elevated to Queen of the Underworld, something she really doesn’t want, but having eliminated those in power, she inherits this title. The story begins with Gin overseeing a meeting of the Ashland underworld, and since she is bored, she begins to watch her surroundings and becomes suspicious of a waiter. Gin realizes there is a bomb and jumps to save everyone, and the mystery begins who is trying to kill who.

Gin will find herself against a powerful villain, as well as remembering a case from the past that comes back to haunt her and her competitor Lorelei Parker. What follows is an amazing adventure that puts Gin in many dangerous and death defying situations. What I loved the most is the team Gin has built over the years, consisting of friends and family that surround her. These are a wonderful group of secondary characters…Owen, Finn, Sophia, Jo Jo, Bria, Xavier, Silvio, just to name a few. As the danger escalates into an impossible situation, it will take enemies to join hands to fight against this master villain.

Jennifer Estep simply amazes me how she keeps giving us such fabulous thrilling stories, with such a fantastic heroine who always has us on the edge of our seat praying for her survival. The romance between Gin and Owen keeps growing, as does her second family. Each book in this series just keeps getting better and better. Please Jennifer, do not ever end this series. If you have not read Elemental Assassin series, what are you waiting for?

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 21, 2015

He’ll make her an offer she can’t refuse…

Actress Tess McKenzie is performing in the Tenth Circle of Showbiz Hell—dinner theater. All she really wants is to start a theater of her own. Then Tess receives an offer she can’t refuse. She’ll get her funding…if she pretends to be the fiancée to her nemesis, Texan property tycoon Hunter Dade. If she’s going to pull this off, she’ll need all the luck she can get. Break a leg, indeed.

On the verge of a big business deal, Hunter needs to hire a fiancée. He hasn’t quite forgiven Tess for ruining his wedding, but when their chemistry goes from combative to straight-up lust, the “no sex” clause in their mutually beneficial arrangement is tested. Which is a serious problem, because if Tess isn’t careful, she’ll go from breaking a leg to breaking her heart…

•••••••••••••••

REVIEW: EVEN THE SCORE is the first installment in Kate Meader’s contemporary, adult, Tall Dark and Texan erotic romance series. This is high powered, Texas businessman Hunter Dade, and stage actress Tess McKenzie’s storyline.

Told from dual third person perspectives EVEN THE SCORE is a fake fiancée storyline wherein Hunter needs a fiancé as he attempts to make a business deal with a man who is more concerned that his much younger trophy wife attracts too much male attention. When Hunter runs into Tess at a local dinner theater presentation, Hunter sees more than red but an opportunity to ‘even the score’. One year earlier, Tess was the maid of honor at Hunter’s now infamous almost-wedding wherein Tess was the bearer of bad news telling Hunter that he was all wrong for the woman he was about to marry. Fast forward one year and Hunter makes Tess an offer she can’t refuse but in doing so sets up a game where Hunter hopes to destroy Tess in the end.

Both Tess and Hunter’s personal histories and backstories are filled will heartbreak, regret, abuse and neglect. For two people whose pasts are both damaged and dark, Tess and Hunter will find peace in one another’s arms, as long as the damaged that was previously done doesn’t lead to open wounds or further scars. Alcohol and abuse play a major role in both of their earlier lives.

The relationship between Tess and Hunter is one of immediate attraction. There is no denying the sexual chemistry; the palpable energy between our leading couple but Hunter’s anger towards Tess adds fuel to an already raging fire. Hunter is a man determined to bring Tess to her knees for the betrayal he believes cost him his almost-wife, but in doing so, will lose his heart to a woman whose past is almost as destructive as the life from which he came. The $ex scenes are erotic, intimate and seductive; some of Hunter’s actions are fueled by anger and thoughts of betrayal and revenge.

The secondary and supporting characters include Tess’s fellow actors at the local dinner theater company, as well as Tess’s mother who makes an appearance albeit one that is not necessarily on Tess’s top ten list of wants and needs. We are also introduced to a couple of Hunter’s business partners whose stories have yet to be told. Hunter’s mother and sister are motivating factors behind his latest business venture, and in this, the heartbreak will come full circle.

EVEN THE SCORE is a well written, engaging story about chances-so to speak- for Hunter and Tess. Hunter’s chance at happiness and self-forgiveness, and Tess’s chance to make amends to the man with whom she is falling in love. The premise is familiar; the characters animated and intense; the romance is a rocky road to love and a happily ever after. Kate Meader is a wonderful story teller.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 16, 2015

Being the younger sister of a Wind Dragons MC member isn’t as great as you’d think it would be.

I can’t escape the details of my brother’s exploits.

No one tells me anything.

Men who know who I am tend to stay away from me.

And worst of all:

The members of the MC are off-limits.

When Arrow catches my eye, I make it my mission to make him happy again.

When I fall head over heels in love with him, I just hope he will be there to catch me.

And that my brother doesn’t kill him.

••••••••••••

REVIEW: ARROW’S HELL is the second installment in Chantal Fernando’s adult, contemporary Wind Dragons erotic, romance MC series focusing on the men and women of Wind Dragons motorcycle club. This is Arrow and Anna’s storyline. ARROW’S HELL can be read as a stand alone although I would suggest reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion. Many of the events in Arrow’s Hell began in book one Dragon’s Lair.

Told from first person point of view (Anna) ARROW’S HELL fast forwards the series five years focusing on the continuing war between the Wind Dragon’s and the Wild Men MC, the building relationship between Arrow and Anna, and Arrow’s spiral into the abyss of guilt and grief. Anna is MC member Rake’s little sister, and she has returned to town to complete her PhD in zoology but Rake is all about protecting his sister, and to do so, she is ordered to move into the Wind Dragon’s Club house. Not one to be pushed around, Anna questions everything that happens including the sorrow and sadness emanating from another club member Arrow. It is Arrow’s history with the Club, and the murder of someone close, that finds our hero burying himself in alcohol and $ex.

The relationship between Arrow and Anna is one of immediate attraction but Rake has issued a hands-off order to the Wind Dragons members as it pertains to his sister Anna. Anna, never one to follow orders, pursues Arrow with the intent of relationship but Arrow isn’t one to settle down with one woman-and in this Arrow’s need to lash out finds Anna at odds about her attraction to Arrow. The $ex scenes are erotic, intimate and seductive but Arrow’s guilt over the death of a friend compounds the growing animosity between Anna and him. Arrow’s growing reputation as a man-whore finds Anna on the outside looking at Arrow destroy her heart.

The world building continues to focus on the MC wars; the camaraderie between family and friends; club brothers; and the women who come in and out of their lives. As with most MC series there is plenty of $ex, alcohol, violence and threats against everyone they love but for Anna and Arrow the threat comes from violence of the past when, five years earlier, Arrow killed the president of the rival MC in retaliation for the death of the woman he loved, and Anne will become the target of the rival MC. As per my review of Dragon’s Lair, the violence and sexual content is not as graphic as some series but there is no denying that the MC lifestyle is dark and dangerous.

Most of the previous storyline characters play secondary and supporting roles including Wind Dragon president Dex and his old lady Faye. With the advance of the series five years, we get a look at the relationship between Faye and Dex’s daughter Clover with the big, brawny and scary men of the MC. Tracker continues to push the boundaries of his friendship both with Anna and Faye, as he continues his sexual escapades with Allie, but there is something growing between Tracker and Anna’s BFF Lana.

ARROW’S HELL is a fast paced, entertaining and intoxicating storyline with some fun and humor to offset the intensity of guilt and grief. The romance is aggressive and heartbreaking (I may have shed a tear or two); the characters animated, colorful and intriguing; the premise not without some cringe-worthy moments. The double standard between alpha bikers, and the Club women and whores seems to be a growing divide although Anna and Faye are smart, strong and independent women-you can’t get around the relationships between bikers and Club whores: it is what it is –a fact of life in the world of the MC.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date May 19, 2014

When I found my boyfriend cheating on me, I did something stupid.

Or should I say, someone?

Because of that mistake, I’m now stuck in a world I don’t belong in.

I’m a law student. They’re criminals. He’s the vice president of a motorcycle club. I’m a good girl with a strict upbringing. He’s my ex-boyfriend’s brother.

And I’m screwed.

•••••••••••••••••

REVIEW: DRAGON’S LAIR is the first installment in Chantal Fernando’s adult, contemporary Wind Dragons MC erotic, romance series focusing on the Wind Dragons motorcycle club. This is Wind Dragons’s vice president Dex ‘Sin’ Black, and law student Faye’s storyline-a friends to lovers romance.

Told from first person point of view (Faye) DRAGON’S LAIR follows the rebuilding of a friendship and relationship between Faye and Dex. Growing up neighbors Faye had always had a crush on Dex Black but Dex disappeared from Faye’s life years earlier, and in the ensuing time Faye found herself in a relationship with Dex’s brother Eric. Walking in on Eric having $ex with her friend, Faye steps out of her comfort zone and heads to places unknown where she will reconnected with Dex Black –the vice president of the Wind Dragons MC- and the man she has been in love with since an early age. Weeks later Faye’s life will come crashing down, and she finds herself on the run, homeless, and considering a future unlike anything she could have imagined.

Faye is a strong ,sassy and feisty female lead who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Along with her bravado there is also plenty of humor and one liners as she learns to navigate the MC lifestyle, and the men and women she confronts every day. Faye tends to get herself in trouble with her quick responses and even quicker wit-there is very little filter to Faye’s thoughts and speech.

Dex Black aka ‘Sin’ is the vice president of the Wind Dragons MC and has never forgotten about the little girl who lived next door. Only five years her senior, Dex has always been protective of Faye, and now that she was in his life for the long haul, Dex isn’t willing to risk her life or their future but there is a war on the horizon, with a rival club, and Faye will do anything to protect those she loves.

The relationship between Faye and Dex is a friends to lovers romance but Dex’s lifestyle is that of tough biker, in a tougher situation where nothing is off limits including $ex, alcohol and guns but Faye’s presence puts a halt to many of the nightly pastimes; and Dex isn’t willing to sacrifice his life with Faye for the temptations of his younger self. The $ex scenes are erotic and provocative.

The world building takes the reader into the underbelly of the motorcycle club including rival gangs, open $ex, unruly parties, threats to one’s safety, and the likelihood of an attack against family and friends. But unlike some MC series, Wind Dragons is not as graphically violent with sadistic acts or unnecessary, over the top gratuitous $ex. The dark, intense and dangerous aspect is watered down-the gritty and harsh reality is present, but not the ‘in your face’ ugliness of some series. Even Dex’s secrets are easily overcome without little to no anxiety or angst.

DRAGON’S LAIR has a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including a number of Wind Dragons members and the women who make themselves at home-some will not make it past the first installment when war is declared while others plays a significant role throughout the story.

DRAGON’S LAIR is a fun read despite the MC lifestyle and some of the storyline premise. There are moments of heartbreak and betrayal; humor and fun; expectations and future hopes. Dragon’s Lair is my first Chantal Fernando read, and I am looking forward to many more

••••••••••••

REVIEW: Just when you thought that all was well and done on the realm of Torth after the defeat Elegia, another adventure begins. And who best to start a new adventure with the mysterious Lash leader, Arawn and the lovely yet tough as nails female warrior, Ria. They made a really worthy and suitable match. They balanced and complemented each other in the right places or how Ria herself had it phrased, “we can fill in each other’s gaps.” Their love scenes lived up to my expectations especially when it came to sex between two powerful people. One word I would use to describe their love scenes is raw. They show raw passion, raw hunger and most importantly, raw love. All the centuries of buried feelings all came out bubbling out over the surface in that first love scene. Love it!

Mr.Arawn most certainly surprised me that there was much more to him than being a broody and mysterious leader of the Lash warrior watchers. He has hopes, dreams, weaknesses and secrets. To add to the cherry on top of things, you’ll just melt when you see his romantic side. He is a leader with a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders but despite that, he truly cares about his warriors like they’re family. He is a courageous and fierce warrior but with honor to never a warrior behind. It was a treat to read about Arawn’s past and childhood. I was very surprised to find out Arawn was once mated but lost her when she was killed while he was on the job. In spite of that painful part of his past, Arawn took that second chance at love with both hands and didn’t let go. Another trait of Arawn I love, his decisiveness which I know is a given as a leader but still gotta love a man who takes charge.

I’ve always liked Ria from the other previous books but getting to see her warrior side was a thing of beauty. She is the epitome of why I love when the main heroine is a warrior/fighter. I admire her ability to hold her own in a fight and always striving to prove herself that she is just a good warrior as the rest of the guys. I most definitely respect her for that. She has her own air of sexiness but at the same time exudes her own strength and power as a warrior. It’s no wonder Arawn had eyes on her for centuries. On top of all that, she is compassionate and kind.

I know I have said this before but, Sharon Kay still keeps amazing me with her ability as an author. I love how she knows how to seamlessly weave in other plots as well as drop hints on which book is next. She does all of this without sacrificing the story arc. Again that is some serious skill. I am curious though as to if Brenin’s ever going to get a book? He’s been lurking around in all the books and I think his book would be so cute. I appreciate Sharon Kay’s ability to balance the focus on the main story arc as well the as the forming relationship between Arawn and Ria without sacrificing either elements.

Again it was my pleasure to visit the amazing world of Torth. I hope to continue visiting this whimsical realm. I just love how that realm is amazing and full of magic, the characters are super likeable and appealing, the story arc never fails to disappoint, the love scenes are through the roof on how steamy they are and the fight scenes leave you breathless with awe. The total package right here!

Description:
Some secrets are worth dying for…

Undersheriff and former Marine Rick Trelane had one constant his entire life – his friendship with Whitney Peterson. Through thick and thin, she has never faltered. Never blamed. But when her former lover turns up dead, Rick must look past the walls he’s built to the woman he thought he knew inside and out…and discover he was wrong.

Whitney has secrets, deadly ones. The deeper he digs, the more he sees her as a woman he desires. And suspects. But as bodies start turning up, so does the evidence against her. Now the air is thick with secrets and shadows and giving into the longing could turn both their worlds upside down. Because this killer is just getting started…

Review:

When a less than exemplary citizen is gunned down, his chest turned into “swiss cheese”, the loss won’t drag down the town. When the suspect is your oldest friend, the woman you’ve been in love with from afar, for as far as you can remember, you’ll go as far as you can to protect her. Wanted by Dee Tenorio was an “ignorance is bliss” until you threaten to walk away forever type of love story. As if that wasn’t stressful and fabulous enough for an entire book, (Rick and Whitney don’t surrender easily), murder entanglements *grins* keep our H/H distracted. Will love conquer or suffer?

Rick is a former Marine turned undersheriff of his California hometown. He is familiar with discipline, thrives on structure, and strives to maintain a “frosty” exterior to spare himself further agony of loss. Deprivation is a more accurate assessment, but you won’t hear Rick complaining (out loud). It’s worked to a degree, he’s good at what he does, but Whitney is done maintaining distance. She’s willing to complicate Rick’s order because it would undoubtedly enhance his, their, life. If only he wasn’t terrified of ruining their 30 year friendship. *insert audible exhale*

“Life isn’t supposed to be executed like a mission plan, son. Sure, it’s good to have a direction. To aim for something that gives it meaning. But it’s also supposed to have surprises and serendipity and something else that starts with an ‘s’ that you weren’t expecting.

Now, if Whitney had any say in the matter, she’d hold on to Rick and never let go. We learn that Whitney survived an abusive relationship, her former lover is the one who turned up murdered (not mourned), but the depths of her trauma, though tenderly revealed, are harsh. Whitney uses bravado so as not to appear weak, but I was begging for her to have a meltdown and unburden herself! It is a gift to read Rick’s thoughts on Whitney’s courage.

I loved the balance Ms. Tenorio supplied to these characters. Rick and Whitney are kindred spirits who aren’t broken despite impactful histories. Their banter was a series of volleys, friendly and charged, demonstrating a vital camaraderie. Their seduction, though slow to develop, was a pulsing passion when unleashed, trouncing over indecision. Rick and Whitney are just wonderful together!

Rolling up his sleeves, he started toward her and she had to force her mouth to stay closed. He’d broken way too many bones in that sumptuous body and he still moved like a lion on the prowl. She never wanted to be a steak more in her life.

When a second connected murder links Whitney, her sullied reputation is brought up again, indicating motive. Rick intends to clear Whitney’s name by fair means or foul. Oddly romantic, save for the obstruction of justice, lol. Just when the stars were aligning, will Rick adhere to the letter of the law or protect Whitney at all costs?

Wanted earns its place amongst excellent company. This book is Wanted for a terrific summer read!

Description:
A nightmare coming to an end…

Peyton Harrison came to Claywater to bring her kidnapped son home. The last thing she expects is to run into Gabe Harrison, the man who abandoned her before her son was born. Her body might want to take up where they left off, but her heart remembers Gabe’s betrayal all too well—and everything she’d risk for momentary pleasure.

A past catching up to them…

Gabe always knew he’d share the love of his life with his twin brother, Sam, except he’d found that love far too young. He did the honorable thing and walked away, but now an adult Peyton is in his hometown and keeping secrets behind her world-weary eyes.

Sam is knee-deep in a drug investigation threatening the town he loves. Peyton’s arrival is a distraction he doesn’t need; still, he can’t deny her pull. He and Gabe have always stood together, but now the one woman they both want may be the one thing that divides them.

A future threatened…

When violence shatters their world, the past and present intertwine in ways none of them expected. Anticipating their enemy’s next move is the only way to keep their son safe, but what about their hearts?

Review:

Take Me by Ella Sheridan is the third book in her Southern Nights series. You don’t need to read them together, they stand alone from each other.

Peyton is following a trail, which leads her to her missing son, and to the man she gave her virginity to, Gabe Harrison. She plans to slowly build a life for herself, and in the process get her son back. Peyton wants to build a restaurant, and a new life in Claywater, but if Gabe is here, her plans may have to be altered.

Gabe and his brother are twins; they’ve always had a special bond, being able to sense each other’s emotions. They have also known that the woman they settle down with would be one they would share.

Peyton finds out that Gabe has a twin brother, one who he shares women with, and at first she is confused, as she has met and found Sam very attractive. Gabe finds out that their one night together, seven years ago, produced a son. And to say he isn’t happy is an understatement.

Sam is totally confused, seeing his brother going through a rough time, and he feels all these emotions for this woman. He begins to wonder if the feelings he has for Peyton are his or his brother’s.

A whole range of emotions are met in this book, with sadness to confusion, to lust and hate.

I wasn’t sure (two brothers and my ick factor went up), but it was a really good book. Two men ready to fight and die for you. The attraction between the three came across very strong. The interaction between Gabe and Peyton I felt was stronger than Peyton and Sam. I personally would have like a separate story for Sam. But saying that, I really enjoyed the book. It was a fast paced romance, with a few twists and plenty of tears.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 28, 2015

Never in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true.

He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range.

Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down.

Now Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself.

REVIEW: WICKED FALL is the first installment in Sawyer Bennett’s adult, contemporary Wicked Horse erotic, romance series-a spinoff from her Last Call series. This is billionaire rancher Woolf Jennings, and events coordinator Callie Hayes’s storyline. Woolf was first introduced in Shaken, Not Stirred (Last Call #5) -his brother Tenn’s storyline. WICKED FALL advances the events of Last Call approximately one year.

NOTE:  Wicked Fall contains some graphic depictions of M/F/M scenarios and BDSM sex scenes.

Told from alternating first person points of view (Callie and Woolf) WICKED FALL focuses on the opening of Woolf and his best friend Bridger’s western-styled Wyoming nightclub called The Wicked Horse but also on The Silo-an exclusive, members only high end fantasy sex club. A few weeks after opening, Woolf finds himself face to face with the girl-now a woman- who captured his heart years before. Callie Hayes is a senator’s daughter and off limits as far as Woolf is concerned. Callie and her brother Richard grew up with Woolf and Tenn, and in the ensuing years following Richard’s death Woolf pulled away and hasn’t seen Callie since the night she propositioned Woolf following the burial of her brother. With her return to Wyoming, Woolf’s need and want of Callie increases especially when she is hired as his personal assistant.

Woolf and his brother Tenn are the sole heirs of their father’s sprawling ranch-a 300,000 acre billion dollar business that Woolf manages on behalf of he and his brother. But Woolf’s heart is restless and The Wicked Horse is a result of his need to expand and diversify; and The Silo is meant to sate Woolf and Bridger’s darkest desires. Woolf and his best friend Bridger are active participants but something is missing from Woolf’s life and it isn’t until the return of Callie that Woolf understands what it is he has been missing.

The relationship between Woolf and Callie is one of immediate attraction; a friends to lovers storyline that focuses on the building love and trust between two people whose paths went in opposite directions. The $ex scenes are erotic, provocative and seductive; the sexual energy is palpable and hot; the BDSM and sexual fantasy scenes contain M/F/M scenarios and graphic depictions.

The secondary and supporting characters include Woolf’s best friend Bridger-a man with a dark past and an emotionless need for sex and BDSM. We are also introduced to several employees and workers at The Wicked Horse, as well as Woolf’s head of security Cain whose story will, most likely, be told next if the amazing epilogue is correct.

The world building follows the inception to completion of The Wicked Horse and The Silo. We get up close and personal with some of the staff, the rules and restrictions, and what it is The Silo has to offer for those discriminating individuals who can afford the membership to Wyoming’s new and exciting fantasy sex club.

Sawyer Bennett’s Wicked Fall is sensual and passionate; intoxicating and evocative; erotic and memorable. Her characters are playful, liberated and free; the romance is intense and consuming; the happily ever after full of fantasies and dreams.
