REVIEW:SKIRT is the fifth full-length instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult RUTHLESS KINGS erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the Ruthless Kings MC this is Ruthless Kings MC member Rohan ‘Skirt’ Blackwood, and single mother, Dawson ‘Dawn’ West’s story line. SKIRT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence and sexual assault, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Dawn and Skirt) SKIRT follows the building romance and relationship between Ruthless Kings MC member Rohan ‘Skirt’ Blackwood, and single mother, Dawson ‘Dawn’ West. The day Rohan ‘Skirt’ Blackwood found a beaten and bloodied woman at the side of the road, Skirt’s life changed forever. Dawn West only knew that she had to get back to her son, a young boy who was currently in the custody of a killer and fighting machine. As the Ruthless Kings MC set out to locate the missing child, Skirt quickly discovers that Dawn is the old lady he wants to claim for himself. What ensues is the building relationship between Dawn and Skirt, and the potential fall-out as Dawn and her son become collateral damage in a child-trafficking ring.

Rohan Blackwood has struggled since the death of his brother five years earlier, avenging death the to man responsible for taking his life. A former MMA fighter, Rohan’s brother was killed in the ring, and in the ensuing years Skirt takes on fighters in an effort to prepare for the inevitable when he finds the man that killed his brother. Dawn West knows that to save her son she may have to sacrifice her life for his own but Dawn had no idea how close Skirt was to sacrificing for them all.

The relationship between Dawn and Skirt is one of immediate attraction with similar likes and dislikes as it pertained to the kinkier side of their bedroom antics. For a woman used and abused by a killer ex, Dawn is quick to hit and punch, regardless of whomever gets in her way including the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, aggressive, erotic and intense with some scenes of voyeurism and exhibitionism.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and familiar secondary and supporting characters many of whom we have met in the previous instalments including several members of the Ruthless Kings MC: Reaper and Sarah, Poodle and Melissa and their daughter Ellie, Tool, Tongue, Doc, Badge, Bullseye and Braveheart. The requisite evil has many faces.

SKIRT is a story of abuse and violence; family and relationships; betrayal, vengeance, acceptance and love. The premise is dark, raw and gritty; the romance is energetic and erotic; the characters are wounded, lively and damaged. There is a bit of a twist to the story line premise-be prepared.

True love is in the details for the Jersey shore’s premier wedding planner in this heart-swooning series about big dreams and happy endings from New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst.

Avery Sunshine might not have a soul mate of her own, but she still believes in happily ever after—for her clients. Making dreams come true is her business at Sunshine Bridal, which she runs with her two sisters. When her best friend announces her engagement, Avery is thrilled to take charge of the giddy bride-to-be’s big day. Less thrilling? Her best friend’s arrogant and demanding brother, who just so happens to be the man of honor.

Carter Ross’s first instinct: call 911. He promised to always take care of his impulsive little sister, and he honors that vow. Even if it means taking over her wedding, where he is sure Avery will fail. At best, Avery is unpredictable. At worst, if she’s anything like the spitfire of a college girl he remembers, the main event could run wild.

With Avery and Carter wrestling for control, tempers heat up. So does the spark of attraction they’re fighting with every kiss. As the wedding draws near, it’s time to reconcile a rocky past and make a decision that could change everyone’s lives. Because what they’re rebelling against looks a lot like love.

REVIEW:LOVE ON BEACH AVENUE is the first instalment in Jennifer Probst’s contemporary, adult THE SUNSHINE SISTERS erotic, romance series focusing on the Sunshine Sisters: Avery, Bella and Taylor. This is thirty-two year old, wedding planner Avery Sunshine, and forty-year old, computer specialist Carter Ross’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Carter and Avery) LOVE ON BEACH AVENUE follows the building relationship between thirty-two year old, wedding planner Avery Sunshine, and forty-year old, computer specialist Carter Ross. When her best friend from college, Ally Ross, asks Avery to be the planner for her upcoming wedding Avery knew she was in trouble when Ally brought along her brother Carter, the bane of our heroine’s existence. From the start, Carter pushed all of Avery’s buttons but when Ally had to return home to Texas for an emergency Avery discovered Ally left Carter in charge. All of Avery’s suggestions were met with negativity and challenge, and in the end, Avery wondered what had crawled up Carter’s a$$ and died. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Carter and Avery, and the fall-out when Carter’s time in New Jersey, comes to a close.

Carter and Avery have butted heads for as long as they could remember. Carter, having raised his sister upon the death of their parents, struggled with what he believed to be Avery’s undo influence over his sister’s life choices growing up. Avery Sunshine knew she was a great wedding planner but finding time for love may have passed her by. Falling for Carter Ross was never in the plans especially when Carter proclaimed that he didn’t believe in love or happily ever afters.

The relationship between Carter and Avery begins acrimoniously as there are prior encounters between our couple. Carter blames Avery for steering his sister into times of trouble, and Avery believes Carter is hoping to destroy her life. The $ex scenes are passionate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Avery’s sisters Bella, and Taylor and Bella’s daughter Zoe; as well as wedding assistant Gabe Garcia, and photographer Pierce Powers. Bella and Gabe’s story is next in Temptation on Ocean Drive.

LOVE ON BEACH AVENUE is a fun and flirty story line. The premise is engaging and light-hearted with a little bit of drama and conflict; the romance is seductive; the characters are colorful, energetic and real.

TEMPTATION ON OCEAN DRIVE
The Sunshine Sisters #2
by Jennifer Probst
Release Date:August 25, 2020

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N(paper) / Chapters Indigo (paper) /

Young widow Bella Sunshine-Caldwell is focused only on raising her daughter and running the family business, Sunshine Bridal. There’s no time for romance—especially with her fellow wedding planner, Gabe, whom she’s growing increasingly attracted to. He’s too enterprising to stay in Cape May for long, anyway. And too tall, dark, and handsome to be anything but a heartbreaker.

Every woman in town has her sights on Gabe Garcia. The only woman he has eyes for doesn’t seem interested. All he wants is to fall in love, be a father, and settle down. As he and Bella work together on a magical winter wedding, the distance between them closes, the nights grow warmer, and Bella might be seeing Gabe for who he really is: a man worth the effort.

But all it takes is a single rumor for these two hearts’ fragile love story to shatter. And now the happy ending Bella and Gabe hoped for is something they’re going to have to fight for.

REVIEW:TEMPTATION ON OCEAN DRIVE is the second instalment in Jennifer Probst’s contemporary, adult THE SUNSHINE SISTERS erotic, romance series focusing on the Sunshine sisters: Avery, Bella and Taylor. This is wedding planner/single mother/widow Bella Sunshine-Caldwell, and wedding planner Gabe Garcia’s story line. TEMPTATION ON OCEAN DRIVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and history.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Gabe and Bella) TEMPTATION ON OCEAN DRIVE follows the building romance between wedding planner/single mother/widow Bella Sunshine-Caldwell, and wedding planner Gabe Garcia. Gabe Garcia has worked as an assistant for the Sunshine sisters for close to three years and is about to become one of their full-time wedding planners but Bella Sunshine struggles with the possibility of Gabe walking away leaving the team stranded and short staffed. Having lost her husband within months of the birth of their daughter Zoe, Bella battles the demons of her past believing Gabe will move on toward something bigger and better. Gabe Garcia has lusted after Bella Sunshine since the day they first met but Bella has erected a wall around her heart, a wall Gabe is hoping to break through. Working together on a celebrity wedding Bella struggles with jealousy when Gabe becomes the center of attention. As Gabe moves closer in an effort to seduce our story line heroine, Bella begins to pull back believing the rumors about Gabe’s love life are true. What ensues is the slow building romance and relationship between Gabe and Bella, and the potential fall-out as Bella struggles with the female attention that seems to follow Gabe wherever he goes, and the memories of losing someone she loves.

Gabe Garcia has a reputation as a player but his reputation is unearned and built upon a series of lies. As Gabe and Bella’s relationship pulls the couple closer together, rumors and stories about Gabe’s ongoing conquests pushes our heroine to rethink her future with the man with whom she is falling in love.

The relationship between Gabe and Bella is slow to develop as Bella is unable to move on from the past. With her daughter her number one priority, Bella struggles to take time for herself but Gabe’s seduction of our story line heroine pushes Bella out of her comfort zone into the arms of the man who is willing to step up and take care of them both. The $ex scenes are passionate and captivating without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Bella’s daughter Zoe; her sisters Avery and her fiancé Carter Ross (Love on Beach Lane #1), Taylor and photographer Pierce Powers’ Bella’s friend Daisy; Gabe’s ex-girlfriend Devon, as well as several wedding clients, divas and celebrities all trying to host an extravagant wedding.

TEMPTATION ON OCEAN DRIVE is a story of family, friendships, relationships, loss and love. The premise is engaging and heart warming; the romance is heart breaking and seductive; the characters are energetic and dynamic; our heroine is broken and struggling to move on from the past.

He repeated the question. “I need to know. Why was it easier not to believe me?”This time, she didn’t hesitate. “Because then I could pretend you weren’t the man I really wanted.”

“And do you? Want me?”

She jerked back. Her tongue slipped out to wet her bottom lip. Her voice was barely a whisper. “Yes.”

He muttered a curse. Then leaned forward, his hand cupping her chin. “I want to kiss you, Bella. I’ve been wanting to kiss you forever, but I need to know it’s okay.”

She stared at him, pupils dilated, ragged breaths panting from her lips, and he knew this moment would be carved out in his mind—the first time he saw her face reflect her open want for him. She gave a tiny nod.

He moved closer. His lips stopped an inch from hers. “No. You need to say it.”

“Yes. Kiss me, Gabe.”

His mouth covered hers.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 25, 2020

An ancient grudge. A forbidden love.

The only thing worse than being a demon is being a Valari. As an undergraduate at Los Angeles’s Alameda University, Kara Valari can sometimes succeed at forgetting she’s both. Lost between the pages of the classics and tucked into the shadows of lecture halls, she can dodge the paparazzi’s lenses as well as her family’s publicized dramas—not to mention their private expectations. She has one more year to feed her true passions. Then she’ll be expected to fulfill a much darker destiny.

Cursed with inexplicable strength and god-like stature, literature professor Maximus Kane knows all about darkness. Every day he’s reminded of the missteps of his childhood and the devastating consequences they’ve had on those dearest to him. To atone, Maximus spends his nights alone and his days submerged in the quiet life of academia. His existence has become a study in control, and he’s become a master at it—until Kara Valari walks into his toughest course.

Viscerally, Kara’s everything he craves. Logically, she’s everything he rejects. She’s a starlet of privilege. She’s also a student. And after one touch, he can’t deny that she’s awakened something in him that may never go dormant. Nothing about her makes sense, but everything about her feels right. Especially in the deepest strands of his DNA, which are still shadows of mystery to him—a mystery Kara seems determined to uncover.

She’s Hollywood royalty. She’s forbidden fruit. And he’s pretty sure she could be the answer to everything.

REVIEW:BLOOD OF ZEUS is the first instalment in the contemporary, adult BLOOD OF ZEUS paranormal, mythological, romantic suspense series co-authored by Meredith Wild and Angel Payne focusing on university student Kara Valari and professor Maximus Kane.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Kara and Maximus) BLOOD OF ZEUS follows the building but forbidden relationship between university student Kara Valari and professor Maximus Kane, a relationship forbidden by the university ethics, and the law of the gods. From the outset, the reader is aware there is more to our couple than meets the eye. As Kara and Maximus relationship builds, their attraction and time together creates a firestorm that summons the gods, forcing Kara to reveal the truth about what she is, and her connections to the world. While Maximus continues to be oblivious to his supernatural heritage, a visit from his father begins to breakdown the barriers between earth and h*ll, barriers that no longer protect our story line couple. What ensues is the building relationship between Kara and Maximus, and the potential fall-out as their union is forbidden because Kara is promised to someone else.

Kara Valari has known about her heritage and the circumstance of her family and her birth all of her life but meeting Maximus Kane draws Kara like a moth to a flame, a flame that burns with the intensity of the sun. Unable to reveal the truth to Maximus, Kara finds herself bouncing between walking away or losing everything for love. Kara’s family is a member of the ultra-rich and famous, and in this, their every move is watched and painted for the world to see. Maximus Kane is unaware of his supernatural powers or his mythological heritage but knows he is not quite normal in the eyes of humanity. The more time he spends with our story line heroine, the more his abilities begins to manifest revealing his location, and his connections to the sky.

The relationship between Kara and Maximus is one of immediate attraction that neither one is able to explain. Kara knows there is more to Maximus than a mortal human being but our hero continues to be oblivious to his heritage, and the powerful strength that comes with his DNA. Having to keep their relationship secret from the university and the paparazzi, Kara struggles knowing that if their secrets are revealed, the punishment will be swift and deadly. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Maximus’ best friend and fellow professor Jesse NOrth; Kara’s sister Kell, their mother Veronica Valari, their grandfather Giovani Valari, art collector Arden, Maximus’ mother Nancy Kane, and a revelation as to the identity of our hero’s father.

BLOOD OF ZEUS is a story of family, secrets, power and gods; of mythological demons, angels, contracts and legends; of promises and love. The premise is intriguing, entertaining and exciting; the romance is seductive and impassioned; the characters are desperate, dynamic and charismatic. BLOOD OF ZEUS ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

This story was perfect and you could tell that Hunter comes from good blood. He is every bit the man his father is. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the next chapter in these series. I loved traveling back to Trinity Academy and experiencing the world through the children.

You could read each series alone – but why would you – there is an incredible world created by these three series and highly recommend them to everyone. You can get lost in the story and get carried away.

Highly recommend.

Hendrix didn’t strike me as ridiculous. Or impulsive. Or silly.
Why on earth, then, would he believe that there could be something worth seeking out with me? If that’s what he meant at all. Which…he did, didn’t he?
It’s confusing, and confusion makes me hide, on the whole. But since I can’t hide because I’m the fucking teacher in this class—seriously, how did this happen?—and for some reason the educator is expected to stay present, I find my confusion turning to anger. It works itself through me until the beauty of our night together is cropped out of my memory and what’s left is trite and fleeting. His presence feels nothing like flattery—which it did feel flattering, admittedly, for a half second there in the midst of everything else. Now, though, it just feels invasive and unprofessional and mean.
Perhaps I’d confront him about it, if I were a different sort of person, one who isn’t afraid to stand up to a challenge. One who isn’t afraid to live her life.
But I’m not that sort of person, so after I give out the assignments and send the students on their way, I plan to gather my things and get on my way as soon as possible, so fond of hiding that I am. I was stupid enough to believe—or perhaps hopeful is the better term—that Hendrix would let me do that, as he’d let me leave that night in Paris, not that I’d given him a choice.
He doesn’t, though, of course. Of course. He approaches me, his leather camera bag slung over his shoulder, a man satchel underneath.
“Camilla,” he says in that American accent that makes me both cringe and swoon all at once, and for the briefest of moments I find myself considering something different for a change. I consider staying.
But underneath my long sleeve polo neck, my skin throbs with an intensity that equals the blaring of a car alarm, and I think of Fred waiting for me at home to take him out for ice cream and the dead husband who hurt me as much as he loved me and the ugliness that marks me inside and out. And in the chaos of those thoughts, there is no option to stay.
“You being here is in bad taste,” I say before he has a chance to say anything else. “Don’t do this to me.”
I brush past him then, and with the heat of that brief contact following me in radiating waves, I rush outside to disappear among the Saturday-morning Londoners who are out enjoying the early signs of spring.

In 2013, Laurelin Paige self-published her first novel. Her husband was just laid off, she had three kids, one with special needs, and they had just filed for bankruptcy so she needed this novel to work. Less than 1 year later, her debut novel, Fixed on You, was at the top of the bestseller lists and was named one of the top ten selling books of 2014 by Publishers Weekly (the only self-published book to do so) and a Top Ten Favorite Read of 2014 by People Magazine. Her successive self-published novels have been smash hits with readers.

Laurelin Paige is the NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Fixed Trilogy. She’s a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters.

REVIEW:BAYOU BABY is the second instalment in Lexi Blake’s contemporary, adult BUTTERFLY BAYOU erotic, romance series set in the Butterfly Bayou of Papillon, Louisiana. This is former US soldier and licensed contractor Harrison ‘Harry’ Jefferys, and single mother/hair stylist Seraphina ‘Sera’ Guidry’s story line. BAYOU BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from several third person perspectives BAYOU BABY follows the building relationship between former US soldier and licensed contractor Harrison ‘Harry’ Jefferys, and single mother/hair stylist Seraphina ‘Sera’ Guidry. Sera Guidry is a single mother whose reputation in the small town of Butterfly Bayou is tainted by her lack of a husband and the narrow minded attitudes of the small minded community, but adding fuel to the proverbial fire is Celeste Beaumont, whose son Wes was once in love with Sera Guidry until rejection sent him off to war. In town for a couple of jobs including attending his cousin’s wedding, Harrison ‘Harry’ Jefferys is drawn to the aura that is Seraphina Guidry but while Seraphina is from a local family, Harry’s well connected, rich and powerful aunt Celeste despises our heroine, and intends to destroy what’s left of her life. When Sera inherits her late great aunt Irene’s mansion, Celeste makes it known she wants the mansion and the land for her personal use. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Sera and Harry, and the potential fall-out when Sera’s secret is exposed further alienating the Guidry and Beaumont families.

The relationship between Sera and Harry is one of immediate attraction but Sera struggles with Harry’s connections to the Beaumont family, and the potential ramifications if and when Celeste discovers their clandestine affair. Already a target of the Beaumont family, Sera battles between head and heart knowing when her secret is revealed, more trouble will follow. Harry is a bit of a wanderer; a nomad who has yet to settle down since his return from Afghanistan and the loss of his leg but meeting Sera Guidry gives Harry a hope for a future but a future that is marred by his aunt’s obsession with the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Lila and Lisa Guidry; Zep and Remy Guidry, Hallie Rayburn, attorney Quaid Havery; Calvin, Angela and Celeste Beaumont, and Sera’s mother Delphine Guidry.

BAYOU BABY is a heart breaking story of secrets and lies; power and control; discrimination and alienation; friendships, relationships, family and love. The premise is captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are energetic and colorful.

Harry found himself standing in the doorway of the church reception hall. There were a bunch of people milling about, most with red cups in their hands. “For a crazy old lady she drew quite a crowd.”
“Oh, everyone comes out for funerals in these parts,” Cal admitted as he made his way to the big crystal punch bowl and got himself a cup. “There’s not a lot else to do so weddings and funerals are big social events.” He took a long drink. “And, damn, but Zep’s got a heavy hand with the rum. There’s way more rum than punch. The Guidrys might be trash, but trash around here usually knows how to party.”
He wasn’t sure he liked his cousin referring to anyone as trash, but he didn’t know the family well. He did know he’d heard the name Guidry from his aunt’s mouth and it was obvious she didn’t think much of them. “I think I’ll try the lemonade.”
“Suit yourself.” Cal refilled and looked around the crowd. “Introduce yourself around. I’m going to see what Josette has going on. Now there’s a woman I could spend some time with. Some fun time.”
His cousin winked and walked off toward a slender blonde.
He was rapidly discovering his cousin was a bit of a douchebag.
“You’re the new guy.”
He turned to find his own pretty blonde staring up at him. She was petite, barely coming up to his shoulders, and he would bet half her weight was in that hair. It flowed past her shoulders almost to her waist, and there was so much of it. Thick, honey-colored silk. Sky blue eyes found his own and held him there. Her arms were crossed over her chest and he noted that she was drinking the lemonade.
“How do you know that? Maybe I’ve been here all along and no one’s noticed me.”
Her nose wrinkled sweetly. “Oh, they all notice you. That’s how I know you’re the new guy. Welcome to Papillon. I came over to give you fair warning. I think single people need to stick together in an effort to stay single despite the societal pressure to give in to the patriarchy. If my mother tries to convince you to let me show you around, she’s really trying to find me a husband.”
Oh, but he might not mind her showing him the town. Beyond being gorgeous, he liked the sass she was throwing his way. He was self-aware enough to admit that women had come easy to him. He wasn’t hard on the eyes, but finding one who got him was a different story. “That seems to be a theme. The church secretary already tried to have her granddaughter show me around.”
A single brow rose over those heavenly eyes of hers. “Debra? Yeah, you have to be careful with her.”
“I’ve heard she’s handsy.” He nodded. “And she talks a lot.”
“Yeah, she also drinks a lot more than Helena will admit, and she’s started a couple of spectacular bar fights. She likes to pit her suitors against each other and make them fight for her.”
“Good to know.” He glanced around and sure enough, every eye was on him. “Well, I don’t suppose you would show me around. Maybe if you showed me around, people would stop offering up their daughters. I noticed no one has asked me if their sons could show me the town. Do the men of Papillon not know their way around?”
“Well, you could say that about a lot of them. But no, it’s because there aren’t many available men and when a new one comes to town it’s like a medieval parade of who has the best dowry. You need to remember that whatever my momma tells you, I’ve got no dowry whatsoever. I come with a lot of baggage. Tons of baggage.” She gasped as though she’d just had a thought. “Unless you would rather have a nice man show you around our town. I hadn’t considered that and it was awfully backward thinking of me. I know a great guy. His name is Michael Hendricks and he’s such a doll. You would get along so well.”
Whoa. That had taken a turn. She was smiling, and that smile took her from beautiful to gorgeous. That smile kind of lit up his world, but she was working under a big misconception. “I’m comfortable with women showing me the sights. Did you get excited about setting me up with your friend?”
A hand cupped her hip, and the sass factor went sky high. “Is there a reason you wouldn’t like my friend?”
He had to chuckle. This one was obviously a fierce warrior. “I’m sure I would like him but I would only like him, not like like him because I like women. Like like them.”
The cutest frown came over her face. “You’re a confusing man.”
“So I’ve been told.” Oh, he liked her. A lot. She would be a ton of fun, and not in the way Cal meant it. He would very much enjoy getting to know this woman. “How about tomorrow? It’s Sunday. I can take the afternoon off.”
Her eyes widened. “Are you hitting on me at my great-aunt’s funeral?”
He had probably gone a nice shade of red. He hadn’t thought this through, and he definitely hadn’t realized she was related to the deceased. He thought she was one of those people who’d come for the gumbo. “Well, that would be rude of me so no, I am not.”
She looked him up and down. “It would be rude, and I was only coming over to warn you that my mom will likely try to trick you into dating me. Don’t fall for it.”
She turned on her heels and started to walk away.
“Hey, you didn’t even tell me your name. How will I know who to avoid if you don’t tell me your name?”
She glanced back, that blonde hair swaying. “Seraphina Guidry. Remember it so we don’t have to go through all of this again. Welcome to Papillon, Mr. Jefferys. I hope you enjoy your stay.”

Dallas jerked in Rhys’s arms, her eyes flying open. She’d only been asleep for three hours and he knew she needed more. It was clear in the wild, almost unfocused glaze of her beautiful gray eyes.

“Is Willow okay?” she rasped out.

His heart clenched. She was always thinking of other people, other beings. He’d never imagined a female like her in his life. “She’s fine. Currently being spoiled. It’s only been a few hours, Dallas.” The blackout curtains were firmly in place but bits of the late morning light still peeked through.

Dallas sighed and seemed to settle more against the sheets. “Good.” She nuzzled her face against his chest, wrapping her arm around him and throwing one leg over him as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

Just like that, his cock hardened. He’d already been in a semi-state of arousal on and off for the last few hours. Every time she shoved her ass up against him, or turned over and wrapped her body around his, he got hard. Then he’d have to think of shitty things so his erection would go down. It was a vicious cycle.

Now with her curled up against him, her full breasts pressing against his chest, it was definitely too much for his waning self-control.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, fighting to steady the wild beat of his heart, and tried to think of anything but Dallas’s lush body pressed up against his.

“I wouldn’t mind that kiss right now,” she sleepily mumbled against his chest.

Oh, hell. He rolled his hips against her, leaving no doubt how aroused he was.

She leaned her head back to look up at him. She was half awake, but he saw the fire simmering in her bright eyes that had gone almost silver and he could clearly scent her desire. It was sweet and overpowering, leaving him no doubt that she wanted him as badly as he wanted her.

Without second-guessing himself, he crushed his mouth to hers, tasting, teasing, taking. Goddess, he wanted to consume her, to bring her so much pleasure that she passed out from it. His female needed rest—and an orgasm.

Moving quickly, he caged her body underneath his, glad they had an actual bed in here now as opposed to that flimsy cot.

Moaning, she stretched out underneath him, arching her unfortunately covered breasts against his chest. But he felt the beaded points of her nipples rubbing against him as he plundered her mouth. Her taste was perfection. She was perfection.

He slid his hands up the tiny shirt he’d picked out for her earlier, cupping her breasts, shuddering at the feel of them in his hands, at the fact that she wanted him to touch her at all.

She groaned into his mouth and the scent of her desire spiked in the air as he slowly teased her nipples.

He needed to see her naked, or at least more of her. And he needed skin-to-skin contact, was desperate to feel her against him. When he leaned up to tug her top off, he realized he was slightly glowing.

The mating manifestation. Dallas was…his mate.

Unholy Union contains the prologue Unholy: The Beginning

•••••••

REVIEW:UNHOLY UNION is the first instalment in Natasha Knight’s contemporary, adult UNHOLY UNION dark, romance duet focusing on eighteen year old Christina Valentina, and Damian Di Santo.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Damian and Christina) UNHOLY UNION focuses on repayment of a debt. Eight years earlier, Christina’s father sacrificed his life in an effort to protect his daughter but his sacrifice was for naught when a newly turned eighteen year old Christina would find herself the captive of Damian DiSanto, a captive meant to repay a debt. As Christina struggles to come to terms with the past and the present, she will quickly discover that it is her future that is in question, a future that is no longer under her control.

UNHOLY UNION is a dark and gritty story of betrayal and revenge that covers but a few days in the life. Christina lost everything eight years earlier, and in the ensuing time our heroine had no idea that her life was no longer under her control. Damian DiSanto bided his time waiting for secure payment for sins of the past but Damian knows that to protect what now belongs to him, he is going to have to take total control of the family empire, starting at the top.

UNHOLY UNION focuses on payment for a debt. Christina Valentina, oblivious to the criminal underworld that had taken control of her family and her life, finds herself a virtual prisoner whose only protection is the man who has staked a claim on her life. With the DiSanto family demanding vengeance Damian knows that it is only a matter of time before everything spirals out of control. The premise is haunting, dramatic and intense; the characters are desperate and brooding; the romance is negligible as the author continues to set the tone for the building relationship that is currently that of predator and prey.
