What if the woman I fell for was in love with someone else? The man who claimed her heart is my VP, the same man I need to respect and follow his orders. But now that I’m no longer a prospect, it’s difficult to find my place. What if I don’t want to play by the club rules anymore?

But then again, what if while I’m seeking shadows, I find something I wasn’t prepared for? And the darkness leaves me fighting for everything I thought I’d never have…

Seeking Shadows is a part of The Royal Bastards MC Author Collaboration and is book three in the Tampa, FL Series.

•••••••

REVIEW:SEEKING SHADOWS is the third instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult ROYAL BASTARDS MC: TAMPA, FL, erotic, MC, romance series and the latest instalment in the multi-authored Royal Bastards MC series (RBMC). This is Royal Bastards MC: Tampa Fl prospect Dash aka Justice, and twenty-two year old single mother/bartender Shadow’s story line. SEEKING SHADOWS can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion as there is an ongoing premise through out.

NOTE: The events of SEEKING SHADOWS run parallel to, and cross over with the events of book two LURING LIGHT.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Shadow and Dash) SEEKING SHADOWS follows the building romance and relationship between Royal Bastards MC: Tampa FL prospect Dash, and single mother/bartender Shadow. In the wake of watching his best friend Ivy fall in love with someone else, Dash sets out for places unknown, landing at the Drunken Lime Tavern, where he will meet Shadow, a take no prisoners but sexy bartender who stirs something deep within our story line hero. A screw up with the club, and an assignment wherein he becomes bodyguard and protector of the Royals Bastards’ VP, finds Dash losing our heroine before he has a chance to prove he is worthy of her love but Shadow has a few secrets, that are about to be exposed, and when revealed place everyone in danger, including our story line hero. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Dash and Shadow, and the potential fall-out as both Dash and Shadow’s pasts collide for a twisted display of betrayal and revenge.

Shadow and her four year old son Cruz are on the run, and Shadow fears that revealing the truth will immediately bring down the wrath of her tangled past, a past that demands blood in more ways than one. Dash is desperate to help the woman with whom he is falling in love but in doing so, exposes Shadow and her son to a dark and dangerous twisted mind.

The relationship between Shadow and Dash is one of immediate attraction but Shadow is in no position to start a relationship, and Dash struggles in the wake of a broken heart. As Dash begins a slow seduction of our story line heroine, he is pulled in another direction, hurting the woman with whom he will fall in love but in an effort to help, places a target on Shadow and her son. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including VP Cade ‘Void’ Nixon, and Ivy ‘Toxin’ Perez (Luring LIght), Club President Nycto and his O’le lady Eva; Shadow’s son Cruz, her friend Iris, and co-worker Scarlett; ex Tyler; club girl Trixie, as well as MC members Ominous, West, Nerve the medic, and IT specialist Voltage.

SEEKING SHADOWS is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and blood, family, relationships, friendships and love. The premise is engaging and twisted; the romance is captivating; the characters are energetic, strong-willed and determined.

As per my review of LURING LIGHT, referencing a particular situation that takes place in both stories, I would like to note that I have researched if the possibility could ever happen, and for everything I have read, the answer is a resounding no. Not only would the ‘event’ not happen but it would be considered disrespectful to all members of the MC.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 10, 2021

Autumn LaRosa has been playing defense since the moment she met Julius Cunningham. After accepting a position as a meteorologist in Portland, she strives to make a good first impression. Then she meets the arrogant wide receiver who belittles her in front of her new friends. She could have walked off the sting of his bitter words, but he keeps showing up in her social circle.

Now, she is determined to meet him at the line of scrimmage and prove she’s not one to back down.

Julius Cunningham is well aware there’s a flag on the play after his harsh words to Autumn. The more he sees of Portland’s new weather girl, the clearer it becomes his judgments of her were unfounded.

But how can he call a timeout on the animosity he created?

When Autumn attends a charity event with the Pioneer players, she sees an opportunity too tempting to resist. Julius looks miserable being a part of the date auction, making it even more fun for Autumn to bid. Will she use the opportunity for some good old-fashioned payback? Or will this be their fresh start at the twenty-yard line?

Get ready for the snap and sprint for the end zone because Autumn and Julius are headed for either a tackle or a touchdown!

••••••••

REVIEW:  FOURTH DOWN is the first instalment in Heidi McLaughlin’s contemporary, adult PORTLAND PIONEERS romance series-a spin off /companion to the author’s BEAUMONT and BEAUMONT: NEXT GENERATIONS series. This is meteorologist Autumn LaRosa, and Portland Pioneers’ wide receiver Julius Cunningham’s story line. FOURTH DOWN can be read as a stand alone. You do not have to have read either of the previous two series to follow. Several of the characters cross over for cohesion and familiarty.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Autumn and Julius) FOURTH DOWN follows the building romance and relationship between meteorologist Autumn LaRosa, and Portland Pioneers’ wide receiver Julius Cunningham. Autumn LaRosa believes she has finally found a direction in life, accepting a position in Portland as the evening news meteorologist but reconnecting with Peyton Westbury, a former college sorority sister, places Autumn in the direct line of fire when Portland Pioneer’s wide receiver Julius Cunningham takes an immediate dislike and hate-on for our story line heroine. As a friend and teammate of Noah Westbury, Julius struggles with Peyton’s immediate friendship with Autumn LaRosa, a friendship he believes to be orchestrated by our story line heroine. Julius Cunningham is in the process of a divorce, and struggles with his attraction to Portland’s newest ‘weather girl’, and in this directs all of his anger at our story line heroine. What ensues is the building but contemptuous relationship between Julius and Autumn, and the potential fall-out as Julius’ past demands everything and more.

Julius Cunningham is heading for divorce in the wake of his wife’s affair but Julius refuses to give into Elena’s demands, demands that will force his children to choose sides. Meeting Autumn stirs something deep within our story line hero but from the outset Julius struggles with his attraction to a woman he fears could break his heart. Autumn LaRosa has no idea why Julius Cunningham despises the ground upon which she walks. With little knowledge about Julius and his life back home, Autumn will get caught up in the drama of his impending divorce, drama that threatens her relationship with the man with whom she is falling in love.

The relationship between Julius and Autumn begins acrimoniously as Julius refuses to accept Autumn as anything more than a star-crossed, gold digger. There is no reason for Julius to presume such a threat but his anger towards his wife is now direct at the woman with whom he will fall in love. As their relationship builds, Julius quickly discovers that everything he thought about Autumn is built upon his own anxiety and fears. The $ex scenes are all implied and fade to black.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including Julius’ children Reggie and Roxy, his soon to be ex-wife Elena, and his parents Susan and Roger; Julius’ teammates Alex Moore, and Chase Montgomery, station owner Leon Woolworth, and Autumn’s ex Camden Porter.
We are reintroduced to Noah and Peyton Westbury (Beaumont: Next Generation), and Petyon’s sister Elle; Liam Page, Harrison and JD, as well as Quinn James and Nola, and several more characters from the previous series.

FOURTH DOWN is a story of family and betrayal, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is emotional and real; the romance is seductive and tender; the characters are animated and edgy. FOURTH DOWN is a welcome addition to the Beaumont Family of stories and books.

Description:
Stuck in a dreary Boston winter, Annabelle Martin would like nothing more than to run away from her current life. She’s not even thirty years old, twice-divorced, and has just dodged a marriage proposal… from her ex-husband. When she’s offered her dream job as creative director at a cutting-edge graphic design studio in Phoenix, she jumps at the opportunity to start over.

When she arrives in the Valley of the Sun, Annabelle is instantly intrigued by her anonymous landlord. Based on the cranky, handwritten notes Nick Daire leaves her, she assumes he is an old, rich curmudgeon. Annabelle is shocked when she finally meets Nick and discovers that he’s her age and uses a wheelchair. Nick suffered from a stroke a year ago, and while there’s no physical reason for him not to recover, he is struggling to overcome the paralyzing fear that has kept him a prisoner in his own home.

Despite her promise to herself not to get involved, Annabelle finds herself irresistibly drawn to Nick. And soon she wonders if she and Nick might help each other find the courage to embrace life, happiness, and true love.

Review:

Wait for It by Jenn McKinley is a wonderful standalone novel.  We meet our heroine, Annabelle Martin, who lives in Boston and is a very good graphic designer; she has been married twice at 28 years old, remaining friends with her ex. Annabelle is fun, outgoing, impulsive, reckless, but she is a master at creating fabulous designs. Her best friend Sophia, begs her to move to Phoenix and become their creative director for her graphic design studio; since she knows that Annabelle is what she needs for her company.   When Annabelle’s ex starts what looks like another marriage proposal, she immediately shouts about her job offer, and is planning to move to Phoenix.  Annabelle is now on her way to Phoenix, to take over the creative director position with Sophia and Miquel’s company.

Miquel (Sophia’s husband) is owed a favor, and manages to get 6 month lease on a guest house at a mansion for Annabelle to use.  The owner, Nick Daire, is retired and reclusive, and Annabelle never gets to see him, other than notes he leaves to her that give her strict rules (no use of pool, no guests, no pets, etc).  She assumes the cranky landlord is old and rich, and when she finally forces herself to meet him, she is shocked to see he is her age, and totally gorgeous.  Seems Nick suffered a stroke a year ago, and keeps this information private; he has a cook, gardener/driver and trainer.  In a short time, Nick begins to find himself attracted to the beautiful and outgoing Annabelle, who manages to push his buttons, and a sizzling romance begins.

Nick trains to build his body, but he has anxiety attacks, due to fear of getting another stroke; but Annabelle senses his anxiety is holding him back, having had some of those signs after the loss of her mother.   Nick is very stubborn; will he allow Annabelle to help him?

Nick has not seen his family for over 20 years, and when his sister shows up out of nowhere, he refuses to help her.  Annabelle tries to convince him to open up to her, but his stubbornness forces the sister to leave.  When Nick finds out that someone at Annabelle’s company has been sabotaging her, he makes plans to put her in charge of a new client for the graphic design company, using his sister and Annabelle.  The nasty person in the company continues to try to cause damage, but together with her team, who has become loyal to her, she manages to be a step ahead.

I really loved Annabelle and Nick together, as they had amazing chemistry.  It was also wonderful to see Annabelle and her graphic design team work be her friends; as well as the sister becoming her friend too. The overall story was very well done, with some major issues such as, PTSD, trauma, anxiety, fear, family issues and emotional stress.  Very well written by McKinlay.

What follows is a wonderful, heartwarming romance, which as noted has some issues along the way.  Nick needs to come to terms to being able to step out into the public, and learn to deal with his fears.  Annabelle was a great heroine, though she too needed to learn when to step back a bit.  Wait for It was a fun fabulous read, which was so very well written by Jenn McKinlay.

Follow Me Always ( Follow Me ) by Helen Hardt-a review

Follow Me Always ( Follow Me ) by Helen Hardt-a review

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date AUGUST 10, 2021

He unleashed the darkness in her…but it might cost them both.

Billionaire Braden Black has one hard limit in the bedroom. He doesn’t talk about it, and he doesn’t engage in it. But when his lover, Skye Manning, begs him for it, he has to face facts—while he may be able to buy her anything, he can’t give her this. Though he loves her desperately, he’s starting to worry their relationship can’t continue.

Skye Manning has fallen down the rabbit hole and become captive to her needs. When Braden asks her why she desires something so dark, and she finds she can’t respond, she knows she’ll have to come up with those answers on her own. She’s willing, but she wants something in return—Braden’s complete honesty about his past.

Because Skye is convinced her needs, his limits…everything is tied to this one secret.

•••••••

REVIEW: I took the plunge into the world of Helen Hardt and her Follow Me series, and WOW what a read! Braden was a top contender for book boyfriend in book one, but now he’s number one for the month! Follow Me Always is the third book in Hardt’s ongoing series, and this one is a woozy. The series to me should be read in order to get all the goodness and back story to continue on. That being said books one and book two are both amazing and are enjoyable reads on their own.

Braden Black and Skye Manning are back at it again in the latest installment of the series. Braden is as controlling and intense as ever and Skye continues to pour her heart and soul out to him, but something is missing. There are questions that she has, and no matter how hard she tries Braden simply won’t answer them. Nothing is what it seems with Braden’s past, the more he won’t share, the more it digs for Skye to know. There is so much to decompress with Follow Me Always. After three books, I am so emotionally involved with these characters I feel like I should be invited to the “better happen one day” wedding. I have nothing negative to say about the book, it’s sexy and dark, full of off- and off-screen chemistry. Their conflict and learning moment in this book is sure to surprise some readers as it did me, but nonetheless, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Vortex by Catherine Coulter – a Review

Vortex by Catherine Coulter – a Review

Amazon / B&N / Kobo / Google Play / Apple / BAM / Book Depository

Description:
Seven years ago, Mia Briscoe was at a frat party with her best friend Serena when a fire broke out. Everyone was accounted for except Serena. She was never heard from or seen again. Now Mia is an investigative journalist covering the political scene in New York City, but she hasn’t given up trying to find out what happened to her friend that night. When an old photo taken at the frat party gives her clues, Mia realizes she knows just where to look. She enlists FBI agent Sherlock’s help to uncover a sinister string of events going all the way back to that disastrous party. But some very powerful—and very dangerous—people will do anything to keep the past buried.

CIA Operative Olivia Hildebrandt is a team leader on a mission in Iran to exfiltrate a betrayed undercover operative. She’s nearly killed by an exploding grenade and saved by a team member. After leaving Walter Reed Hospital, not only has that team member disappeared but two men come to her house to kill her. Savich believes their attack on Olivia is a direct result of the compromised mission in Iran. What intelligence was at stake? Who betrayed them? Savich quickly finds he is now a target himself and unseen enemies will stop at nothing, including murder.

Review:

Vortex by Catherine Coulter is the 25th book in her FBI Thriller series.  I am a big fan of Coulter’s FBI series, and looked forward to seeing our wonderful FBI heroes, Savich and Sherlock. In Vortex, both Savich and Sherlock are called into separate cases, with each case being led by great heroines.

Mia Briscoe, our heroine, is an investigative journalist for a local newspaper.  Mia still thinks about her friend from college, who disappeared 7 years ago.  When her boss assigns her to be the main reporter for Alex Harrington, the new candidate to be mayor of New York, she does some research and finds a dark blurry picture that a friend found, and sent to Mia.  In a short time, Mia utilizes another FBI friend, who was the boyfriend of the missing girl, to see if he can improve the quality of the picture, which was taken at the college 7 years ago.  After she interviews Harrington, his friends, Mia begins to suspect that there is more to the story, and with her FBI friends help, she meets Special Agent Sherlock, who will begin to work with Mia to find the truths, about now and what happened years ago.  Sherlock was in New York consulting on a serial murderer case, which she will help solve, and she fully becomes invested into Mia’s findings.

CIA agent, Olivia Hildebrandt, was on a top mission, when she was injured, as the mission was compromised.   One of her agents is now missing, and Olivia is determined to find him, since she feels he is in hiding, against foreign terrorists.  Savich is called to represent the FBI in investigating why Olivia is being targeted, as attacks have been made on her life.  Savich will take over the case, as the CIA is not happy about this.  Olivia knows someone from her team has betrayed her, and works closely with Savich to protect her, as well as find the agent who is in hiding, with the flash drive (important data) that is important to both sides.

What follows is a non-stop exciting and intense adventure with two different cases. Both cases escalated, with many twists and surprises, which is another reason not to reveal these spoilers, so not to ruin the book.  I love Savich and Sherlock, even when they worked separately; They are a fabulous couple and super agents.  I really thought Mia was a fantastic character, as she was fearless to find the truth about her friend’s disappearance, as well as working closely with Sherlock.  Olivia too was a very good character, and was willing to put her own life in danger, working with Savich.  Coulter not only gives us wonderful characters we care about, but she also creates evil villains.

Vortex was a thriller from start to finish, and even if it was tense at times, as I was unable to put the book down from start to finish.  Catherine Coulter once again gives us a fabulous story, with so many different surprises and excitement all the way to the climax.  Vortex was a fast-paced, exciting, intriguing, suspenseful mystery.  If you like suspense, mysteries, espionage, especially in the world of CIA/FBI, I wholly suggest you read Catherine Coulter.

Sweet, Sexy Heart (The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill – Oak Falls Book 8) by Melissa Foster-Review & Giveaway Tour

Amazon.com /  Amazon.co.uk  / Barnes and Noble  /  KOBO   / Apple  / GPlay /  Paperback  / Audible

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August

For this sweet bookstore owner, avoiding the charms of a famed-football-player-turned-author was supposed to be easy… Funny, sinfully sexy, opposite-attracts romance.

In SWEET, SEXY HEART…
Amber Montgomery is perfectly happy with her quiet life. She loves running her bookstore, taking long walks with Reno, her Labrador retriever seizure-response dog, and spending time with her close-knit family. She’s never needed thrills the way some of her sisters have. In an effort to control her epilepsy, she tries to avoid anything that creates too much excitement or stress—including relationships. When Amber hosts a book signing for famed-athlete-turned-author Dash Pennington, he’s everything she’s spent her life avoiding: loud, aggressive, and far too handsome, as proven by the hordes of women who surround him everywhere he goes. Amber can’t ignore the sparks flying between her and Dash, but this is a no-brainer for her: Ignore their chemistry and hold her breath until he leaves town.

Dash Pennington has spent his life running. Running the ball in for a touchdown, running from town to town to appease his public relations reps, and for years, running into the arms of too many women to count. He’s also an expert at protecting—his reputation, his family, and lately, his sanity. But he’s ready to make a change. When he comes to the sleepy little town of Oak Falls, Virginia, and witnesses the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen living the life he craves, she refuses to have anything to do with him. But now that Dash has found the one thing he doesn’t want to run from, he’ll stop at nothing to win her over.

••••••

REVIEW:SWEET, SEXY HEART is the eighth instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult The Bradens and Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill-Oak Falls, erotic, romance series- a spin off and companion to several of the author’s other series. This is former professional football player turner motivational speaker and author Dash Pennington, and book store owner Amber Montgomery. SWEET, SEXY HEART can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Dash and Amber) SWEET, SEXY HEART follows the quick building romance and relationship between former professional football player turner motivational speaker and author Dash Pennington, and book store owner Amber Montgomery. Dash Pennington is about to start his cross country book tour and series of speaking engagements in Oak Falls, Virginia where he will meet his future in Amber Montgomery, owner of Story Time Bookstore, but Amber has epilepsy, and in this, Amber struggles with what the future may look like. Meeting Dash Pennington stirs something deep within our story line heroine but Amber continues to battle between head and heart believing she is not worthy of a sports star such as Dash Pennington, and the possibility that her issues of health may be too much for Dash to hold on. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Dash and Amber, and the potential fall-out as Amber continues to push Dash away, in the wake of a seizure, and the start of his successful second career.

Amber Montgomery hasn’t has a seizure for several years but overworked and excited about the upcoming tour finds our heroine in a crisis of health she is sure to push our hero out of her life. Dash Pennington is the perfect man for Amber Montgomery. His refusal to walk away endears our hero to everyone in town but Amber continues to struggle with the what ifs and whys, and what the future may hold going forward.

The relationship between Amber and Dash is one of immediate attraction but Amber maintains Dash is out of her league, and his new found career will continue to pull him away from Oak Falls. As Dash starts a slow seduction of our story line heroine, Amber must reconsider her future, a future that includes the man with whom she is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and erotic, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters including Dash’s old college teammate Sinclair ‘Sin’ Vernon, and Amber’s siblings-brother Axsel, and sisters Morgyn, Brindle, Grace, Sable and Pepper, and their parents Marilyn and Cade :Dash’s mother Robin Pennington and her ‘boyfriend’ Mitch Grayson; Dash’s siblings Damon, Hawk, Dawn and Andi, as well as numerous characters from the other interconnected series.

SWEET, SEXY HEART is another story of family, friendships, relationships and love- a familiar theme throughout Melissa Foster’s stories of romance. A story of acceptance and recognition, of well being and health. The premise is thought provoking, emotional and heart warming; the characters are honest and real; the romance is provocative and uplifting.

The General by M.A. Abraham – Review & Giveaway

The General by M.A. Abraham – Review & Giveaway

Amazon  / B& N / Kobo / Apple

Description:
T’Harris isn’t the most demanding of the Guardians of the Empire but, like Gabriella, he hasn’t been beaten on the battlefield yet. He is also a master swordsman, like she is. When not practicing, or performing his duty to the Empire as one of the guardians, he is lighthearted although he refuses to take a back seat to anyone, if pushed.

He vows to win her through his gentle ways and charm. Is it enough? As she uses her talent to see if she can outwit the Fates, she realizes this is a battle she cannot win, for history tells her that no Elf who ever tried has. They also have a common enemy, one they feel they will need to be united against to defeat.

When Gabriella is mistaken for a common Elven maiden and taken to enemy lands, T’Harris must fly to her aid, for this is his love, his Life Mate, and one he has promised to guard with his life. Can he get to her before they realize who and what she is? Or will he lose her to the point of an enemy sword?

Review:

The General by M.A. Abraham is the 6th book in her Guardians of the Empire series.  Brief refresher:  This series is set in the same world as Abraham’s wonderful Elven Chronicles series, but thousands of years after that series ended; with all surviving humans having been granted a land called The Valley, to live in peace and prosperity.

Finally, we get to spend time with Gabriella and T’Harris, as they both know they are Life Mates.  T’Harris, who has known for awhile that she is his Life Mate, has waited for the right moment, not to pressure her, and when they go head-to-head in a sword battle, the time has arrived.  Gabriella is an unbeatable master swordsman, and a true General, being a descendant of Gabriel.  T’Harris is one of the best Guardians of the Empire and also a master swordman, and almost equal to Gabriella.

In a short time, she will accept that he is her Life Mate, but before they can bond, she is kidnapped by soldiers of King Felix and his sons, who have a bounty on Gabriella.  T’Harris will sense Gabriella being in danger, and all the Guardians travel to rescue her.  During the battle, Gabriella will finally bring forth her dragon, who is a beautiful iridescent white dragon; and she manages to destroy their weapons, and leave the King and his family with many loses, as well as revengeful.  With T’Harris severely injured, Gabriella, and all the warriors return to the Valley to try and save his life.

What follows is an exciting wild adventure with Gabriella, in the forefront, as well as enjoying seeing the love between Gabriella and T’Harris.  The Elves continue to work toward eventually moving everything to the Elven Lands that were hidden many years ago, as the oracle has told them they need to bring the Sentinels back home.  The storyline also continues with Evart, his brothers and father King Felix, especially after the heavy destruction and loss.  Evart, Sonya and Alexis at the moment are happy to be safe with the Elves, away from their evil King.  Personally, I thought too much time was spent with King Felix as we came closer to the end.

I do not want to say too much more, as it would be spoilers, with a lot going on.  It was an interesting story, giving us a glimpse of the future, and hopefully more of Gabriella and T’Harris.  I loved seeing many of our heroes again, and I absolutely love Gabriella.  The General was a well written and entertaining story. A great addition to the series, focusing on our wonderful Gabriella. You should read this series, and start with the first book to get to know all the characters.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 1, 2021

You are cordially invited to the wedding of the decade, when Christian Grey will make Anastasia Steele his wife. But is he really husband material? His dad is unsure, his brother wants to organise one helluva bachelor party, and his fiancée won’t vow to obey…

And marriage brings its own challenges. Their passion for each other burns hotter and deeper than ever, but Ana’s defiant spirit continues to stir Christian’s darkest fears and tests his need for control. As old rivalries and resentments endanger them both, one misjudgement threatens to tear them apart.

Can Christian overcome the nightmares of his childhood and the torments of his youth, and save himself? And once he’s discovered the truth of his origins, can he find forgiveness and accept Ana’s unconditional love?

Can Christian finally be freed?

REVIEW:FREED is the third and final instalment in EL James’ contemporary, adult FIFTY SHADES AS TOLD BY CHRISTIAN erotic, BDSM romance trilogy told by Christian Grey.

Told from first person point of view (Christian) using present day and memories from the past, FREED focuses on Christian Grey-his feelings, his emotions, his need for control, and his desperate attempts to protect the woman he loves.

For readers and followers of the Fifty Shades of Grey series, FREED and FIFTY SHADES AS TOLD BY CHRISTIAN reveals a deeper side to the man many have grown to love or hate. We are up close and personal with his need and rationale for control; his heart breaking earlier years with a crack-addicted mother, and the grooming of an adolescent and impressionable young man to become a dominant with a sadistic nature.

FREED acknowledges Christian’s somewhat embattled relationship with his adoptive parents Carrick and Grace, and his inability to recall anything about the missing months while in the care of social services. While Christian is a man obsessed about our heroine Ana Steele, he is also a man struggling with the demons from his past that continue to control his present including his ongoing and unhealthy ‘friendship’ with Mrs. Robinson, a relationship from which he battles to let go.

FREED is a detailed, complex and long story line that reveals so much more about Christian Grey than was ever revealed in the original series including plenty of information about his work, and his need to amass a corporate empire. There is supplementary plotline not found in the original series release, as well as some additional content only found in the movie adaptation but now added to ‘enhance’ the story for interest and familiarity. FREED is an edgy and dramatic addition to Christian Grey’s POV.
