This is former British SAS soldier Warwick James, and nursing home worker Marley Abrams’ story line. LETHAL REPRISAL can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from several third person perspectives including Marley and Warwick LETHAL REPRISAL follows sixteen months after the disappearance and supposed death of our story line hero. Warwick James had met Marley Abram’s while vacationing in the Bahamas but a call to duty meant saying good bye to the woman with whom he was falling in love. A botched mission, and a call to Marley Abrams that Warwick had died meant Warwick had to time to ferret out the truth. Fast forward to present day, Warwick is desperate to reunite with the woman he loves but Marley is struggling with Warwick’s secrets and lies, lies that left Marley battling grief for over a year. The world building continues to focus on the small community of Crimson Point where the Crimson Point security find themselves always on alert, always in the middle of a take down, assassination attempt, or a kidnapping and attempted murder of someone they love. Lethal Reprisal introduces some of the next characters who will be up close and personal with their own stories including Marley’s extended family of half siblings.

The relationship between Marley and Warwick is a second chance relationship; a rekindling romance destroyed by the supposed death of Warwick James but a death that someone is desperate to ensure. Warwick’s life was destroyed the day his last assignment went all to h*ll but someone else was in charge, and Warwick believes he was meant to die. Warwick has never stopped loving our story line heroine but Marley Abrams is struggling the face of secrets and lies. There is a large ensemble cast of coloful secondary and supporting characters many of whom will be featured in the author’s new spin off series-CRIMSON POINT SECURITY. We are introduced to MI6 Agent Teagan Kim, as well as Marley’s half-brothers Decker, Gavin, and Tristan, as well as the return of Walker and Ivy (Fatal Fallout 5).

LETHAL REPRISAL is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, espionage and deception, forgiveness and love. The fast paced, character drive premise is intriguing, captivating and suspenseful; the romance is tender and intoxicating; the characters are spirited, determined and impassioned.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Raz and Leni) WILD ISLAND LOVE follows the fake relationship between PR rep Leni Steele, and actor Duncan ‘Raz’ Raznick. Duncan Raznick’s personal life is in shambles, and the head of his PR firm is hoping to make everything better but a last minute emergency finds PR rep Leni Steele subbing in as Duncan’s date, a date that goes beyond a fake affair. Leni believes the lies and paparazzi images focusing on our story line hero, and as such is unable to forget or forgive Duncan for sins of the past. Duncan’s attraction to Leni is immediate but getting past her frosty exterior is going to take some work, work that may help with their own happily ever after. The $ex scenes are provocative, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of coloful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters from the author’s many interconnected stories and series. The camaraderie, friendships and teasing is well worth the price of admission to Foster’s series.

WILD ISLAND LOVE is another story of family, friendships, relationships and love; of secrets and lies, desperation and misunderstanding, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is exciting and lively; the characters are animated and determined; the romance is spirited, sassy and emotional.

The relationship between Seth and Harley begins as an assignment. Harley has been hired to protect our story line hero but Seth struggles with placing Harley in the direct line of fire when he discovers that his need for revenge has placed a target on the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top sexually graphic imagery language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters are numerous and mostly not who they present themselves to be. We are introduced to crime boss Fabian Butler, and his right hand man Justin Florient, as well as Harley’s older brother, FBI agent Ford Adaire, and FBI agent Brent Marchello. The requisite evil has many faces.

HOW TO CON A CRIME BOSS is a story of twists and turns, secrets, lies and manipulation; family and relationships, acceptance and love. The premise is surprising and intriguing; the romance is provocative and steamy; the characters are desperate, determined and dynamic.

REVIEW:Foolish Promises is the next installment in the Seaforth Billionaires series by Jeana E. Mann, and if you liked the previous books, you’re going to love this one too. There are books previously in the series, and I would recommend reading them before diving into Foolish Promosies, I feel that it would fill in the gaps better.

Second Chance romances are geared toward redemption and forgiveness, and Foolish Promises is no exception. This book takes a slightly different turn because it is also a enemies to lovers spinoff, but the chemistry between the two leads is just too hot to deny.

Sam and Danika are back again and their story is far from over. Danika is still as strong willed as she has always been, but Sam is still Sam, and neither of them want the past to repeat itself. These two have really been through the rigger together, but now that they are married (again) they are determined to make it work this time.

As their lives move forward, their marriage is happy, but when they start a new company, work starts to take a higher priority to Sam than everything else. Sam is off around the world on company business, and Danika isn’t with him, this allows distrust to bloom in their marriage. Throw in some outside drama, chaos, tragedy and emotional trauma and Sam and Danika are at their wits end, marriage or not.

Ms. Mann is an artist with the written word, and as always, I enjoyed the read.

REVIEW:This starts where the last book ends (so it would be prudent to read book one before book two)

This series revolves around a coven of witches who start a business selling toys. s£x toys? to be exact, and it’s a thriving business, all whilst trying to finish their schooling. Oh and don’t forget the men/demons and shifters who enter their lives and remain there. And a society that want them to join up!!

Each book is just a continuation of the previous book, points of view from everyone is mentioned (but you’ll get the hang of it pretty quick)but has lots of interaction with the coven. It’s also got an understory (a secret society want the girls to join them!) there is plenty of laughter in this book, we have drama also (a demon is rescued and healed within the coven) and we get plenty of spicy moments?

There is also a murder to solve. But obstacles are being thrown out, the girls will need their wits about them to work out who is doing this (my money is on the secret society ?) and after being kidnapped Crea, Sinclair, Elizabeth, Indie, and Devyn now have to be extra vigilant!!

I’m really enjoying this series, it’s written differently from other books. Although none of the books are really dedicated to one person, you do get a little more time with a female from the coven. Sinclair and her males are given this book, but it doesn’t stop other characters having chapters in this book.
I really like the secret society (although not really good guys, it’s more of dark and sinister, they are happy to sacrifice whom ever to gain power)

A fast paced read with action/adventure/murder and mystery. And lots of spicy moments ?

Cliffhanger alert!! It does end on a cliffhanger, but so did book one… something I need to just let happen ?

This, of course, is how most of her meant-to-be-thrown-away characters tend to end up front and center – and utterly swoon-worthy! Don’t ask her how many book boyfriends she has…

When not writing, Crea is an avid reader. Her TBR pile is several hundred books high (don’t even look at her kindle wish list or the unread books on her tablet). REVIEW:Devlin is a White Wolf. His job is to police the werewolf society. It’s a thankless and lonely job. He is the only Lone Wolf that will do this job until his death (then another will be appointed and then the legend will go on) but Devlin isn’t the only Lone Wolf! There is also a Grey and a Black wolf out there! Devlin has never met them, doesn’t even know their names! But he’s aware of them and tracks where they are when possible!

Zoe is a whizz on the laptop, her hours and her time is to do with as she pleases. Being her own boss affords Zoe the luxury of being late/absent minded and working on her own. Was this the cause of being in the foster care system? Is this why she had no real friends ? (The one true friend is a total user in my opinion) Even so Zoe tries not to be too down on herself and her life!

Being saved by a handsome stranger (she almost got run over by a car) is ok, it’s great in fact…. Being stalked by said stranger and almost kissed is probably not so great. Being stalked as she walks home, definitely not great! But she didn’t really feel unsafe with him! Poor Zoe, she thinks she’s going a little crazy!!
And then when Devlin’s world crashes into Zoe’s world, all bets are off! She’s gone crazy… how in the world can there be Shifters/Mages and Magic? It doesn’t exist, it can’t be real! Can it?

I did like that Zoe never really wimped out, damsel in distress? Nope not Zoe. She might chat to herself (who doesn’t) but she never gives up (she even manages to help Devlin once or twice)

Devlin can’t help the way he is, it’s his job to protect… But this fragile human female has him tied in knots! His inner wolf keeps shouting MINE! That doesn’t help at all! Power hungry Alpha wolves just want to make his life difficult, the Mages are after something (is it to do with the legacy?) and all Devlin can think of is how he can kiss this stubborn female again!!

I did like both of the main characters. I loved Zoe’s quirkiness, the fact she chatted to herself (something I do a lot) had me smiling. Her willingness to help other at the cost of her own safety had me cheering through the book. Like most males in books “I don’t need help” soon turns into “I need you” I like the fact he won’t listen to his inner wolf (well not at first)

I won’t lie, I was hoping we would see a dark Angel or a large surly dragon (these are characters from a previous series) but being told this was a different series, so no visits from them did take a while to sink in. But that’s not to say I don’t love this new trilogy/series. It’s a fast paced book. Full of action and adventure.

So can Devlin work out why the legacy/legend of one Lone Wolf at a time has come undone? Can Zoe really be a help? Or will she be a total hindrance? What are the Mages up to? And are Devlin and Zoe the start of something bigger?

A highly recommend read. And I’ll be grabbing the next one as soon as it’s written.

Whoever this woman was, she was pure temptation, a dangerous distraction he didn’t need. If anything, he needed to keep his guard up until he discovered why he’d been drawn to her.

She licked her lips again. Unable to resist, he leaned toward her. When she didn’t object, he brushed his mouth against hers. Lust roared through him like a runaway freight train. Review:

The Hollywood Jinx by Sariah Wilson is a fun sweet standalone novel.  We meet Jane Wagner, our heroine, who lives in a small town of Patience, Ohio. She is a librarian, as well as an aspiring composer.  Patience is in financial trouble, as they need help, especially with their upcoming festival (fundraiser to bring in money); she and her sister-in-law enter a video to hopefully bring a famous actor to attend the annual Harvest Festival.   To their surprise, the actor’s management team agrees for him to attend the event; with a celebrity coming to town, it is expected to create a tourist surge. 

Nick Haddon, our hero, arrives in Patience, with his film crew; who will be filming a documentary on Nick’s two week stay in town and the festival. Nick’s reputation has sunk, as his recent films have tanked, and this visit could very well be his chance at self-improvement and change what he feels is a Jinx. His publicist insists that Jane be the one to keep an eye on him and insure he does not overindulge.  Jane reluctantly agrees, with her sister pushing her to stay close.  When Nick arrives, Jane and the town are in their glory, being starstruck by Nick Haddon.

Jane finds herself fighting off her attraction to Nick, especially since he is only interested in Jane; she is determined not to become involved, as she had been heartbroken in the past. Since he is staying at Jane’s house, it becomes more difficult, as they are together a lot, especially since Nick was a lot of fun, and a great guy.  The town of Patience opened their heart to Nick, including helping them finance the festival.  Nick is determined to win Jane over, despite her fighting her feelings and chemistry between them.

The secondary characters were all great, especially her pregnant sister-in-law and best friend, town/library friends, and a terrific small town that was totally into Nick (and Jane).  Jane finally opens her heart, as she has fully fallen for Nick.  But she is concerned about what the future holds, and their differences.  He’s famous. She isn’t. He’s here for two weeks. This is her home. Where can it possibly lead?

The Hollywood Jinx is a sweet charming romance, that was so very well written by Sariah Wilson.  I really loved Nick and Jane together, as they were cute and so much fun, with wonderful banter between them. I loved the epilogue, as it was heartwarming, wonderful and entertaining. I wholly suggest you read The Hollywood Jinx, as it was a great read.
