REVIEW:A Reckless Memory is the first in a new series for a favourite author of mine.

A second chance romance in a small town setting which will leave you laughing/smiling and wanting to shake both of the MC’s.

Aggie runs away from her wedding with the grooms dog! Reason? She overheard a conversation that she probably should’ve have, her groom was being paid to marry her!! Uh no thanks.

Ten years later, and Aggie has the chance to exact a little revenge…. Said groom is down on his luck and Aggie decides to employ him!

You can always rely on the author to deliver a beautifully written story, and her second chance books are my favourite.

The author draws you in with likeable characters (including the animal kind ?) you can’t help but liking both Aggie and Ansen, although in places I wasn’t sure Aggie and Ansen were really suited, but the author weaves her magic, and here we are, wanting more.

Aggie had to struggle to be seen and heard in her male dominated family. Her father ran the family with an iron fist, so it’s little wonder her brothers saw her as a nuisance rather than an asset.

Ansen was set up to be the bad guy, but reading his story you have to see him in a different light.

Ansen just has to prove to Aggie that his intentions then and now are pure and true.

Neither can trust one another, but the spark is still there! Can they overcome the pain and the betrayal from ten years ago?

Did Ansen really take the money? Did Aggie hear all the conversation before running off?

I would definitely recommend it to fans of this genre.

Many of Deanndra Hall’s story lines include a ‘community’ of secondary characters that jump in to help when there is trouble including local law enforcement, family and friends.

ANGEL’S SHARE is a story of power and control, Domination and submission, mental and emotional illness , acceptance, forgiveness and love. The premise is heart breaking and tragic ; the romance is provocative; the characters are broken, disturbed and desperate, and as such, it will take a deep understanding and honesty to like and accept the story line heroine. Darcy is a difficult heroine to like, and forgiveness won’t come easy for many readers.

The relationship between Grace and Dallas is a best friend’s sister/ second chance romance in which Grace battles between head and heart remembering the heart break and humiliation of Dallas’ rejection. Dallas is desperate to protect our story line heroine , both from her past and from herself, but Grace is often a little TSTL (too stupid to live), and refuses to listen to the man with whom she has fallen in love. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

TORN BY GRACE is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and revenge, abuse and power, forgiveness and love. The premise is emotional and heart breaking; the romance is seductive and fated; the characters are broken, desperate but determined.

REVIEW:It’s over!! Riot Reunion is the last and final installment in the Crooked Sinners series by Callie Hart. I’m so sad that this series is over, but also so pleased with how it ended. *Rubs hands together* Before taking into this walk down memory lane, I strongly recommend you read the previous books and check the trigger warnings. The Riot House series is a new adult, dark romance that has dangerous situations and harsh language.

With reunion, it is just that, a reunion of all the couples back together again, and what a reunion it is. Life has gone on with each of the couples, each going their own way, each chasing their own dreams, but as always, if one of them needs something, the group comes running. When the events of the past start to happen yet again, the Riot guys and their women are brought back together again. Let the suspense and drama ensue.

Being brought back to the Riot house reminded me how much I loved this series, there is heartbreak, angst, and the twists…oh the twists! Callie Hart developed these characters so well, the relationships they have built were so meaningful and really gave them another depth. I’m sad to see the series over, but I would definitely recommend it to others. Way to go to Ms. Callie!

REVIEW:Pax has arrived for the final Riot! If you have been invested in this series then grab your kindle and get ready. Pax has finally arrived! Riot Act is book three in the Crooked Sinners series by the ever talented Callie Hart. If you haven’t read the previous book, go read them, it is a MUST for this book.

Pax is near and dear to me, he is the coldest, darkest, most menacing member of the Riot House and I just can’t get enough. There is so much emotional trauma in this book, Presley and Pax make up an entire new level of crazy together. As the book continues, we start to get more and more of both of their pasts; why they are the way they are and why they have so much trouble opening up to one another. To say this book isn’t going to have you on the seat of your chair would be a joke, these characters are damaged, but they keep trying for connection. The connection they find with each other as friends, then as lovers, is truly touching. Be warned, this book does come with trigger warnings as it is a new adult, dark romance. Take a gander at those before you adventure in.

Most of the previous story line couples make cameo appearances, as well as the return of Owen and Chelsea, Drew and Fable (One Week Girlfriend) . Another marriage proposal and wedding are in the future; Ruby is willing to sacrifice for the love of her man.

PLAYING TO WIN is a story of rules and regulations, family and friendships, love and understanding. The fast paced and character driven premise is enticing and entertaining; the romance is seductive ; the characters are determined and dynamic.

Reuniting with the band forced Spook to reconsider his life going forward but he struggled to face the woman who held his heart. Betrayal and vengeance, mistrust and misunderstanding threatened Jan Mortensen every day of his life; using his friend as his anchor meant admitting the truth about his fears and his need for the people he trusted the most.

Throughout the series Alle Hutton had an uphill battle focusing on the man that she loved but there were people in Alle’s life that thought they knew better, never anticipating the fall-out or cost of their betrayal. Alle’s pain was magnified by Spook’s inability to trust, to trust the woman who was one part of the whole that would save his life.

Maxxy is the NOLA Defiance MC horticulturalist; she is in charge of their grow-op and processing operation but the past is about to descend upon our story line couple. Maxxy is in desperate need of additional help, and the help that ‘volunteers’ is about to bring more trouble for our story line couple. Not only does a current enemy target the MC, but Maxxy’s past is looking for vengeance for a perceived betrayal. As the attacks against the club become personal, Maxxy and Hoodoo will discover another connection between the story line couple. What ensues is the building relationship between Maxxy and Hoodoo, and the potential fall-out vengeance turns deadly threatening everything and everyone connected to Hoodoo and Maxxy.

The world building continues to focus on the life of the NOLA Defiance MC. The lives, the loves, the illegal and legal business connections, as well as the threats and enemies that do not stop. Maxxy and Hoodoo have butted heads throughout most of the series, both preferring to remain connected to their respective ‘pen pals’, people they have never met but people with whom they are falling in love.

The relationship between Maxxy and Hoodoo begins acrimoniously. Hoodoo has been struggling with the fall-out of an attack years before, and Maxxy is about to face the wrath of someone from her past. As Maxxy and Hoodoo are forced to worth together in the lab, our couple will find themselves circling one another, acting on their mutual attraction. The $ex scenes are provocative and erotic with some light scenes of spanking.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we have me in the previous story lines. We are introduced to several members of the Bachelors, an exclusive men-only underground criminal elite club who are about to cause more problems for the NOLA Defiance MC. Foes become enemies, enemies turn deadly, and trust has been misplaced for the struggling MC.

FIXATE is a story of violence and murder, betrayal and vengeance, family and friendships, loss and love.The slow building premise is dramatic and intense; the romance is steamy and hot; the characters are desperate, determined and struggling.
