Told from several omniscient third person perspectives including Harlow and Hunter HUNTER follows the forbidden relationship and fallout between our story line couple. Hunter doesn’t do relationships, and a relationship with Harlow meant betraying the men he loved like brothers but an attack against Harlow, and ultimately the club, proved a potential war was inevitable with the Twisted Brothers MC. A hospital stay, a loss, and another betrayal pulled Harlow out of the club and the lives of the people she once loved, as heart break proved all together too much to bear. A new job, a new friendships and another betrayal pushes Harlow to rethink her future going forward, considering walking away from her family and friends. What ensues is the tempestuous relationship between Harlow, Hunter and her extended family, and the fallout when Harlow is targeted for sins of the club.

The world building follows several pathways including the forbidden relationship and consequences between our story couple. Pushed out and forced to walk away from the only people she had ever loved, Harlow discovers that to go it alone means to walk away without looking bac but betrayal comes with a cost, and Harlow and her friend are going to pay the price for their connection to the H*ll’s B*Stards MC.

The relationship between Harlow and Hunter begins acrimoniously as Hunter struggles between head and heart knowing a relationship with Harlow could destroy his relationship with the Club. As Harlow slowly loses her heart to our story line hero, Hunter is preparing to push Harlow out of his life. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

Several member of the H*LL’s B*stards return including Ugly Beast and Abriana, Smokey and Ava, Raven and Carlos, Larissa, Kinky, and George ‘Big Dick’ Erickson. We are introduced to Harlow’s boss Hailey, as well as Harlow’s large extended family of siblings.

HUNTER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, heart break and dissolution. The premise is emotional and dramatic; the romance is limited and secretive; the characters are broken, determined and charismatic.

REVIEW:The Rebel by Marni Mann is book two in the Spade Hotel series. As always; I recommend reading book one before diving into the Rebel. This is a billionaire hottie, enemies to lover’s romance, with the best of the best alphas that are sure to drive readers just about crazy.

The Rebel features Cooper and Rowan as the main characters, and their adventure towards something neither were expecting. Cooper is the next leader to the Spade Hotel chain; he’s an alpha who loves control, but is more about business than anything else. While scouting for a new hotel location abroad, he suddenly finds himself stranded over the Christmas holiday with nothing more than business to keep him warm during the cold nights.

Until Her. Rowan; the alluring woman that he meets in the hotel lounge. Together they spend the weekend getting to know one another, and of course one thing leads to another and they are tumbling the sheets away. But what happens when they have to return to real life?

A big ole surprise that’s what.

No spoilers of course, but Cooper and Rowan light up the pages of this full-length novel for sure. Ms. Author is full of surprises in this new series, what she has in store for us next is something I can’t wait for!

We are introduced to the Rossi family siblings: Stefania, Carlo, Saul and Gian, as well as their mother Stella, and Renzo’s right hand man Dante; several heads of competing crime families, as well as Maddie’s friend Nicole, and housekeeper Tara. The requisite evil has many faces.

VELVET KINGDOM is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is entertaining and inviting but the conflict is limited; the romance is seductive and sensitive; the characters are energetic, sassy and spirited. VELVET KINGDOM ends on a happily ever after-for now, as the main threat to the family has yet to be resolved.

The relationship between Gian and Allegra is one of second chances. Gian ghosted Allegra ten years earlier but he never forget about the woman who had stolen his heart With a new start and new possibilities, Gian makes Allegra an offer, one year and then she can walk away. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

Once again the secondary and supporting characters include Gian’s brother Renzo (Maddie), Saul and Carlo; the ailing mother Stella, and Renzo’s right hand man Dante. We are introduced to Allegra’s father Don Rinaldo, as well as her cousin Sophia, whose allegiances are questionable for our story line heroine.

IRON RINGS is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, family and relationships, forgiveness and love. The fast paced premise is dramatic and intriguing; the romance is seductive and emotional; the characters are desperate and dynamic.

Wyatt Baxter knew immediately Piper was the woman who would steal his heart but Piper’s secrets kept her heart frozen, and her ability to trust locked down. Struggling to break down Piper’s resolve, Wyatt tried everything including romantic seduction but Piper would have to face her demons or battle the darkness for the rest of her life. What ensues is the romance and relationship between Wyatt and Piper, and the potential fall-out when another perceived betrayal threatens Piper’s ongoing ability to trust.

Piper’s parents are a large part of our heroine’s battle with trust, having lost their support when everything fell apart. Wyatt Baxter’s focus in on playing football and the woman with whom he is falling in love but Piper is refusing to play by the rules.

The relationship between Piper and Wyatt is one of immediate attraction but Piper refuses to accept Wyatt Baxter is anything more than a friend with benefits. Everyone except Piper, sees something more, and in this Wyatt struggles to convince our heroine she is more than the betrayal from the past. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we met in the previous instalment including Wyatt’s teammates, friends and roommates. We are introduced to both Wyatt and Piper’s extended families, as well as Piper’s ex Charlie, and her sister Pippa. As to the extended family, Piper’s parents are oblivious to our heroine’s struggles, only thinking about family reputation, and the people at home.

OUT OF BOUNDS is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, family and friendships, relationships and love. The fast paced premise is captivating, dramatic and intense; the romance is seductive; the character are energetic, determined and dynamic.

REVIEW: WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE is the seventh instalment and part 1 in KA Linde’s contemporary, adult WRIGHT VINEYARD erotic, romance storyline focusing on attorney and billionaire businessman Chase Sinclair, and Harley Wright. WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading the series in order. WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE runs parallel to, and crosses over with the events of the previous instalments.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Chase and Harley) covering approximately three years, WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE follows the forbidden relationship between our story line couple. Chase Sinclair’s ex wife Anne, met and fell in love with Harley’s half brother Julian, and in the ensuing time the Wright family remained at war with the Sinclairs. At the wedding of Julian and Anne, Chase Sinclair would meet Julian’s half-sister Harley Wright, a woman he would come to learn was ten years his junior. One night together ended with Chase pushing Harley out of his life but for three years they would find themselves pulled into one another’s orbit, never forgetting about the one that got away. The world building focuses on the three year, on again off again relationship between our story line couple. Chase made a vow to wait three years before claiming our heroine as his own but the heart wanted more with every encounter. Keeping their relationship a secret meant the possibility of destroying Harley’s relationship with all of her brothers, a relationship that was predicated upon secrets and lies.

The relationship between Chase and Harley begins as a one-night stand in which Chase and Harley must keep their affair a secret from family and friends. Chase refuses to cross the proverbial line knowing the war between families continues to burn, and his love for Harley may threaten his future. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate with the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including most of the Wright extended family of siblings, half siblings, spouses, and spurned lovers and friends.

WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE is a story of forbidden love, secrets and lies, family and relationships, acceptance and forgiveness. The fasts paced premise is captivating, entertaining and intense; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are determined, desperate and stubborn. WRIGHT KIND OF TROUBLE ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
