REVIEW: LOVIN’ OPRY is the ninth instalment in Morgan Jane Mitchell’s contemporary, adult RBMC: NASHVILLE TN dark, erotic, MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored RBMC series. This is nineteen year old, dancer Leonora ‘Leo’ Wynburn, and forty year old, biker/ club manager Tripp ‘Opry’ Tanner. LOVIN’ OPRY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including scenes of BDSM, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers .

Some of the event cross over with and run parallel to the events of the previous five instalment.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Opry and Leo) LOVIN’ OPRY focuses on the relationship between our story line couple. Leo is in debt to the mob but in an effort to break free, she finds herself working at a dance club owned by the RBMC: Nashville. Finding herself under the protection of MC member Opry was nothing like Leo could have ever imagined when Opry demanded her complete submission, and letting her know he didn’t do hearts and flowers. Opry doesn’t do relationships, and our heroine had been warned many times but Leo was about to lose her heart to a man who wanted nothing more. Watching everyone else move on with their lives, Leo knew it was only a matter of time before she would have to move on, alone. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship between Opry and Leo, and the potential fall-out as Leo finds herself wondering where everything went wrong.

The world building focuses on the unconventional relationship between our story line couple. Opry only wants a Dom/sub relationship as well as Leo’s complete submission both inside and outside of the house, and he will offer his protection but nothing more. Leo deserves to be loved but Opry refuses to accept anything beyond the present, and a despondent and desperate Leo believes it is her time to move on. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and provocative with scenes of BDSM. Opry’s need to remain in control, and his struggle with their differences in age, leaves our heroine broken, looking for something more.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including Leo’s cousin Sky (Royal Surprise 4), MC president Kingpin, as well as several other members of the RBMC: Nashville, their significant others, dancers and the mob.

LOVIN’ OPRY is a story of power and control, secrets and lies, family, relationships and friendships. The premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance is limited as Opry struggles to feel anything but domination; the characters are desperate and dynamic.

REVIEW:Alone at fifteen after become the legendary Lone Gray Wolf, Kade has lived the solitary life. At times it pleased him, but after becoming bored with nameless encounters Kade keeps to himself. It’s hard when wolf packs look at you with fear, and humans know there is something dangerous about you.

But after being contacted by the White Wolf. Kade is on the lookout for a certain person….

Legend has it there is only one wolf living until it dies then another will take its place. The job of the Lone Wolf is to patrol the wolf packs and take out the rogues that threaten there the exposure to the humans. But in this time and place there are three!! Why?

The White/Gray/Black Wolves don’t like or trust one another, but after finding out they aren’t on their own the White wolf reached out to both black and Gray, only Kade has replied so far, neither have heard back from the Black wolf yet!

Kade is in New York after his inner voice (or as Kade likes to think it’s his wolf) leads him here. He’s found his prey, he just has to make contact and work out if she’s an innocent or part of the plot to claim his immortality!

Luna has lived on her own since eighteen, but truth be told she’s been on her own a lot longer….. Her parents are a famous actress and film director, so don’t have time to play happy families. Her only solace from the loneliness is her art. Her drawings and paintings give her comfort and joy, previous relationships have been brief (they complain she spends too much time with her art!)

When Kade and Luna meet, it’s like two magnets beings drawn together, no one exists but them….

Her wolf from her childhood is actually Kade! But how? She’s drawn and painted the wolf so many times, and her dreams never showed him in human form.

Connected now (although Kade still doesn’t trust Luna fully) they are on the run from forces that want him dead! And Luna maybe become a casualty!

Fast paced and full of action. And the romance is at a medium burn.

You don’t really need to read the first book, but as it’s a trilogy and an ongoing story, it’s probably a good idea to read it, I haven’t, but I’ll probably go back and read it as I really enjoyed the book.

So can Luna and Kade evade the witch and her protector long enough to work out who it is, what they want and how to combat it? But more importantly can Luna and Kade stay together if they survive? As Luna is human and Kade is an immortal wolf…..

REVIEWSecret Offer is the first in Stella Gray’s new Agency series. While this author is newer to me, I am happy to have found her. This new series is a mis between found family, arranged marriage and billionaire romance.

Sebastian is a man with a broken heart, one that he is finally starting may be ready for mending. But after spending time with, things start to change. Brooke loves her family, but spending a week of vacation with them is not what she would call relaxing. Brooke wants to enjoy the time; she just graduated college and before she starts working for her family’s business, she wants to spread her wings and live her life.

On a wander around; Brooke finds herself walking down who other than Sebastian’s private beach. When Seb and Brooke meet, they hit it off, so much so that she thinks she can fall in love with the guy. Too bad when she finds out that her parents are here to auction her off to the highest bidder, who just happens to be the mysterious man she found on the beach. Seb doesn’t care though, he is smitten with Brooke; she is smart, funny and a ray of sunshine in his bleak life.

The storyline moves quicker than I would like it to, but the plot is fun and easy to read. Gray’s characters are always entertaining and make the reader want to befriend them. Plus; who doesn’t love a wounded billionaire reading to find love again?

REVIEW: LAST CHANCE AT LOVE by DM Earl is a novella set in the author’s GRIMM WOLVES MC series, and a part of the multi-authored anthology BIKER IN MY BED. This is Slick aka Cletus Jennings, and stripper/housecleaner / single mother Lucy’s aka Cashmere story line. Cletus Jennings first appeared in TAZ, book three of the DEVIL’S HANDMAIDENS MC series.

NOTE: If you have not read TAZ, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Cletus and Lucy) LAST CHANCE AT LOVE focuses on Cletus aka Slick’s need to apologize for sins of the past involving his ex Raquel ‘Taz’ Smith and the Devil’s Handmaidens MC. As a former member of a white-supremacist group Cletus Jennings destroyed many lives including the life of the woman he once loved but in an effort to prove he is a changed man, and worthy of Lucy’s love, Cletus offers up some information, that will likely put a target on his back. Apologies for the damaged he caused threatens to break his tenuous hold on the who holds his heart.

The world building reveals a little bit about the past including some of the events that would set Cletus towards a different path. For a better understanding, I recommend reading TAZ (Devil’s Handmaidens MC) as the premise of LAST CHANCE AT LOVE are predicated upon the events of TAZ.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Grimm Wolves MC, and cameos from Enforcer and Taz.

LAST CHANCE AT LOVE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, acceptance and forgiveness, understanding and love. The fast paced premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance struggles in the face of reality and the truth; the characters are broken but struggling to heal.

FOREVER KIND OF LOVE by KE Osborn

A visit to the local chapter of Defiance MC on the island finds Hurricane on assignment to rescue the daughter of the Oahu MC but when he fails, Kaia takes it upon herself to save a woman who doesn’t want to be saved.

One night with Luna was all it took but a Thanksgiving dinner with the club would reveal a few secrets that were never supposed to be exposed.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Billie and Brett) MY ANTI-HERO focuses on the building relationship between our story line couple. Billie is the only survivor of a man dubbed The Midwest Killer but since the age of twelve Billie has kept to herself, hidden by friends she calls family , working under the guise of a pseudonym and other names. Agreeing to a blind date arranged by the woman Billie calls sister, our heroine will come face to face with football star Brett Broudou, a man with dark demons of his own. A viral video clip, miscommunication and misunderstanding, as well as the secrets that are about to be exposed bring out a copycat killer who has set their sights on our story line heroine. What ensues is the building but contemptuous relationship between Brett and Billie, and the potential fall-out as Brett’s past becomes his present, and Billie’s must face a ghost she long thought was gone.

The world building is complex, detailed and twisted. Billie reveals some of her past while Brett continues to keep his demons close to his heart but threats to the people he loves force Brett to push Billie out of his life, a push Billie refuses to accept.

The relationship between Billie and Brett is one of insta-lust. Billie is a bit of a football fanatic, a statistics savant-of a sorts-and her attraction and knowledge of Brett is visceral and immediate. Brett sees something in Billie that calls to his heart but Billie’s past threatens any hope of a happily ever after, and threats of a different kind take aim at our story line hero. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate but I dislike the use of a certain four-letter word.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including Billie’s ‘adopted’ support system, Brett’s broken family, his teammates as well as local law enforcement, all of whom play a significant role in our couple’s lives.

MY ANTI-HERO is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, madness and murder, family and friendships, acceptance and love. The premise is intriguing, suspenseful, twisted and dramatic; the romance is seductive ; the characters are desperate and dynamic.
