A small town, forced proximity, second chances, babymaking standalone romance! “A more evolved male would probably shed a few tears for your anemic $ex life since we’ve been apart. Me? I’ll commit to giving you 0ral sex to make up for every hour I missed…”

I’ve been a single father so long that I don’t remember life without my adorably sassy 10 year-old daughter. Don’t want to, actually. I love being a father more than I ever expected to, and ever since my daughter’s mother left us, I’ve mostly been abstinent. Making me quite a catch around our home in small town Baby USA, Crescent Cove.

But all I want is a second chance with Bridget, Carrington’s mother. My high school sweetheart and first love.

My forever love if I get my way after she shows up to my charity calendar reshoot and we end up losing our clothes…on camera.

Unexpectedly, our shoot goes viral. And guess what, now there is another surprise on the way…

REVIEW: SECOND CHANCE BABY is the eighteenth instalment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series. This is cover model / single father Travis Masterson, and model/actress Bridget Sheppard’s story line. SECOND CHANCE BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Some of the events of SECOND CHANCE BABY cross over with some of the events of DRIVEN DADDY (17).

Told from dual first person perspectives (Travis and Bridget) SECOND CHANCE BABY follows the rekindling relationship between our story line couple. Travis Masterson and Bridget Sheppard were high school sweethearts, and both would make a living, working as cover models and actors but Bridget’s unplanned pregnancy and the birth of their daughter would send our heroine into a tailspin, leaving behind the man she loved, and a baby without its’ mother. Fast forward approximately ten years, Travis finds himself working opposite the woman he loves, his daughter’s mother, and the woman he is hoping to convince it is time to come home.

The world building focuses on the rebuilding romance between Bridget and Travis, a romance that picks up with very little conflict or contention. Although Bridget has been in and out of her daughter’s life, there is no strife or trepidation between Bridget and her daughter, or most of the people of Crescent Cove.

The relationship between Bridget and Travis is one of second chances. Working together reminds one another what was, and what could be again. The $ex scenes are intimate and impassioned without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of familiar and charismatic secondary and supporting characters including Travis’s siblings, their parents Hank and JoAnn; Bridget and Travis’ daughter Carrington, as well as Bridget’s sister Lacey, and her daughter Amerie.

SECOND CHANCE BABY is a story of family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is moving-the conflict is limited and virtually non-existent ; the romance is flirty and spirited; the characters are energetic and determined.
