REVIEW: UNFORGETTABLE is the first release in KM Scott’s Heart of Stone spin off series focusing on security specialist Gage Varo, and grade school teacher Jordan Wright. Gage and Jordan were first introduced to the reader in Scott’s Heart of Stone series: Gage was head of security for for Tristan Stone, and Jordan is Nina Stone’s best friend. You do not have to read the original series to understand the premise.

Told from dual first person points of view (Gage and Jordan) UNFORGETTABLE is a second chance storyline. One year earlier, Gage broke up with Jordan, the love of his life, with a few words and a phone call leaving a distraught Jordan heartbroken and depressed. Fast forward to present day where we are witness to Jordan’s impending engagement and nuptials to wealthy businessman Brock Hannon-a man Jordan believes is right for her-a man she believes will give her what she wants and needs. A year has passed and Jordan’s heart continues to break for the man who walked away without looking back but Jordan has moved on in the hopes of finding the same happiness as Nina Stone. Gage is the only man who calls to Jordan’s heart, but he is also the man who destroyed any future they were meant to share.

Gage Varo walked away to protect Jordan Wright; anonymous threats and letters have forced Gage to keep his distance but his return to the city finds our hero secretly protecting the woman he loves. When the threats begin to increase, Gage knows it is time to uncover the source of the threats.

UNFORGETTABLE follows the rebuilding of the trust and love between Gage and Jordan, but also follows the mysterious threats and circumstances aimed at destroying Gage and Jordan’s tentative relationship. With the addition of Tristan and Nina Stone (Heart of Stone series) there is familiarity and cohesion between the series. The premise is fast paced and entertaining; there are moments of mystery, suspense, romance and professions of love. Gage and Jordan’s relationship is slow to rebuild as Gage tries desperately to prove that he walked away for Jordan’s protection; the $ex scenes are erotic and intense. The storyline ends on a bit of a cliff hanger-Gage and Jordan’s story is to be continued.

KM Scott writes from the heart; her heroes and heroines aren’t perfect; her stories will pull you in and never let go-you will become one with the characters, their emotions and their lives.
