Sawyer Bennett’s brand new series of standalone romances! LOVE HURTS!
Hollywood hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this fun, flirty second-chance romance from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, an aspiring starlet reconnects with her first love.
Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Turns out the locals are worse than the paparazzi, and they all think she’s turned into a spoiled brat. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden’s going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind.
Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that’s what Coop’s been telling himself all these years. As Eden’s old flame—and the landscaper for her family’s historic home—Coop feels some responsibility for getting her out of her funk. But as soon as he sees that million-dollar smile, he’s a goner. Soon they’re making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden’s lap, Coop just hopes she doesn’t give up on a love that’s meant to be.

REVIEW: JILTED is the second installment in Sawyer Bennett’s contemporary, adult LOVE HURTS erotic, romance series. This is Academy Award winning actress Eden Goodnight, and landscaper/gardener Cooper Mayfield’s story line. JILTED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.
Told from dual first person points of view (Eden and Cooper) JILTED focuses on the rekindling romance between former high school and college sweethearts Eden Goodnight, and Cooper Mayfield. Fourteen years earlier Eden Goodnight and Cooper Mayfield were in love: college sweethearts, making plans for the future when a talent scout from Hollywood changed Eden’s life forever. From the runway to the red carpet our heroine became the Hollywood ‘it’ girl. But a red-carpet humiliation by her fiancé and action star Brad Wright sent our heroine back home to small town Newberry, Georgia and into the arms of the man she has always loved. Enter Cooper Mayfield, the man Eden left behind for the bright lights and glamor of Hollywood and LA. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Eden and Cooper, Eden’s battle to be accepted by the people in her hometown of Newberry, Georgia, and Eden and Cooper’s struggle to remain a couple in the face of their diverging careers.
Eden Goodnight is a star whose reputation back home is something less than to be desired. Beautiful and talented, our heroine finds it difficult to assimilate back into Newberry Georgia-from the heartbreaking memories of her past and the town’s reluctance to welcome the actress with open arms Eden Goodnight struggles with her attraction to the man she could never forget. Cooper Mayfield has been angry for a very long time, betrayed by the only woman he would ever love, Cooper refuses to commit to one woman, let alone the woman who destroyed his heart.
The relationship between Cooper and Eden is one of second chances but their second chance at romance comes with too many ghosts of the past, and the belief that Eden has somehow disavowed the people back home. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense, erotic and seductive. There is plenty of back and forth in the early stages of their reintroduction not to mention the number of times their possessions end up in the hall, on the floor and out the bedroom window.
We are introduced to Eden’s former fiancé actor Brad Wright, and fellow actress Lilliana Prentice; Eden’s business manager Colleen O’Hearn; Cooper’s former fling Ashley Barton, bakery owner Missy Chambers, and several locals who try to make Eden’s life a living h*ll. The town of Newberry, Georgia feels betrayed by one of their own, and forgiveness comes when the truth is revealed.
JILTED is a story about one woman’s rise to fame, her fall from grace, and the man who would be there to pick up the pieces. There are moments heartbreak and humor, friendship and love, retribution and forgiveness. The premise is engaging, entertaining and energetic; the characters are dynamic and lively; the romance is passionate and inspiring. JILTED is a second chance romance with a spirited heroine and the man who is willing to sacrifice for the woman he loves.

Since the release of her debut contemporary romance novel, Off Sides, in January 2013, Sawyer Bennett has released more than 30 books and has been featured on both the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists on multiple occasions.
A reformed trial lawyer from North Carolina, Sawyer uses real life experience to create relatable, sexy stories that appeal to a wide array of readers. From new adult to erotic contemporary romance, Sawyer writes something for just about everyone.
Sawyer likes her Bloody Marys strong, her martinis dirty, and her heroes a combination of the two. When not bringing fictional romance to life, Sawyer is a chauffeur, stylist, chef, maid, and personal assistant to a very active toddler, as well as full-time servant to two adorably naughty dogs. She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or a combination of the two.
