Description:
Belador Maistir Vladimir Quinn and his team are hunting preternatural predators targeting innocent humans in Atlanta. A powerful entity behind the brutal attacks is determined to force their dragon king out into the open by threatening Belador families and exposing the preternatural world to humans. When Quinn’s daughter is kidnapped, he has no idea where to look. He could use the help of fiery Reese O’ Rinn and her remote viewing ability, but he has even less chance of locating Reese, who vanished into thin air the last time they met. When the VIPER coalition refuses to aid the Beladors, their dragon king invokes the ancient rule of cosaint to protect his people, but will that backfire on Quinn, the dragon and the Beladors?
Review:
Belador Cosaint by Dianna Love is the 9th book in her fantastic Belador series. I am always amazed how Dianna Love always gives us another sensational story that flawlessly continues the flow of this series. She is one of my favorite authors, who I know that I will enjoy and love every moment of her books.
Vladimir Quinn has been one of our heroes from the start of this series, always being there for our fantastic heroine, Evalle. In Belador Cosaint, the story revolves around Quinn, who is searching for the daughter he never knew. In the last book, the Beladors moved out of Viper control with Daegan, the Dragon King, and he made Quinn the Belador Maister, helping to lead the Beladors against the Tribunal, and the evil Queen Maeve.
Before Quinn can devote his time to find his daughter, he must work with Daegan, Evalle, Storm and the rest of the Beladors to fight and rescue the Belador children being kidnapped. On top of that, the crazed evil witch, Veronika has escaped and everything points to Maeve being behind this. But Daegan is a good King, and he frees Quinn to continue his search, as his daughter can be very important having the blood of a Belador and MedB. Reese, will return to play a major part in this book, as she protects Phoedra; who was with her when she was kidnapped. Reese has powerful abilities due to having some Demon blood, and she makes a wonderful fantastic heroine. We already know the last time they met, that Reese and Quinn are strongly attracted to each other. Having disappeared on Quinn the last time, he is reluctant to trust her, but he needs Reese’s ability to be able to remote view, in helping to find Phoedra.
I am not going to tell too much more, since I do not want to give spoilers. What follows is an exciting pulse pounding adventure, with Quinn and Reese putting their lives in danger constantly. Queen Maeve and the witch Veronika are evils that must be reckoned with, and it will take all the Beladors; Evalle, Storm, Quinn, Daegan with Adrianna and Reese to fight to try and save them all, including Quinn’s daughter. The last third of the book was a wild sensational slam bang race to the finish.
There were some surprises that left things open. But I do have to say I did miss Evalle (and Feenix), who played a part but not big. Reese has turned out to be a great tenacious and powerful addition, and I am hoping for her to become part of the Belador team and Quinn in future books. Besides the wonderful male heroes, Dianna Love has also given us some fantastic heroines in Evalle, Adrianna and now Reese. If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense and romance, with fantastic characters you should be reading this series. Please start with the first book, in order to know Evalle (one of the best kick-ass heroines) and all the Beladors. If you have not read Dianna Love, what are you waiting for?
