We are introduced to the members of the band:bass player Ronan Barber and drummer Atticus Marchetti, and tour photographer Layla, as well as Emily’s mother Terry Applewood. Here’s hoping the author has plans for every member of the band.

REVIEW:Laramie Briscoe has dropped another knockout! The Air I Breathe is a spicy celebrity, sports romance filled with angst, drama and second chances.

Willa is a pop-star, think T-Swift on overload if that’s possible, she does what she does and lives her life wild and free like she has always wanted to. Music is in her blood and the connection with it and her fans means everything to her. However, with every great song-writer there comes a past attached to it, and normally one with many stories. With her past, Willa has become cautious and guarded, agreeing to the type of meet up she does is out of character for her, but one she hopes will be a good thing.

Little does she know, it’s going to turn her whole life topseturvey.

Willa and Blake (who is such a sweetheart by the way!) are a match made in music heaven! This book was a kick in the pants with the laughter, and for once I can really say that listening to a killer music playlist while reading really did justice to the book. Willa and Blake try to manage a relationship in the public eye, and slowly start to realize how difficult it really can be. Everyone wants so much from them, their time, energy, music, love, they both love who they are and after some serious soul searching decide to make a true go at their relationship.

Blake and Willa had such great chemistry and banter and I think that is what had me coming back for more with each page. The Air I Breathe is a very happy go lucky, fluff book that had me grinning like an idiot while I was reading and frankly it was just happy, and sometimes that is all a reader wants in a book.

This is reporter Sutton Steele, and thirty-four year old journalist Flynn Braden’s story line. ENTICING HER LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from omniscient third person perspectives (Flynn and Sutton) ENTICING HER LOVE follows Sutton Steele and Flynn Braden as there are tasked with journalling a three day survival outing in the Amazon rainforest but Sutton and Flynn’s relationship is questionable at best. Flynn Braden is Sutton Steele’s immediate supervisor, and Sutton is always on the receiving end of negative feedback and unworthy comments. Flynn knows the trip to the Amazon will be dangerous on many levels but none more so dangerous then his reluctant attraction to our story line heroine. Sutton has no idea as to why Flynn is so combative and negative towards our story line heroine but three days together means coming to terms with what is happening and why.

The relationship between Flynn and Sutton is an enemies to friends to lovers. Seventy-two hours together wherein the couple recount almost every character and couple we have met over the past several instalments. Sutton quickly discovers that Flynn has been hiding his attraction behind his angry façade, an attraction that our couple take to the next level in the Amazon jungle. The $ex scenes are provocative and seductive.

REVIEW:This is the third and final book in the Shattered Hearts trilogy, and you do need to read in order with this one.

Holden and Kate have been through a lot! But can they really come back from this last event?

I’ve loved reading these books, they’ve been a real rollercoaster ride, with betrayal pain and sorrow at every turn, we see each others points of view. I really liked the diary entries, it’s not something you read every day. (Especially from the males point of view.)

There are twists and turns that will keep you reading until the last word. Moments that will have you thinking of the couple at odd moments of the day.

Their happy ever after took three books, and with each book you had to wonder if it would ever work! Both thinking they were saving each other. Didn’t that realise, that together they were better and stronger.

I liked how Holden became stronger with dealing with his parents, (they really weren’t the loving and supportive parents for Holden!) and Kate went after her dream of becoming an actress.

Yes, it’s a little like Romeo and Juliet, but they didn’t get a second chance at happiness. Kate and Holden did.

If you like your story with drama/betrayal/sorrow/miscommunication and a few plot twists, then this book/series is for you.

There are moments in life when the world slows down like a movie. Moments that I know, no matter what, will replay in my head over and over, imprinting on me.
Sometimes they’re moments I never want to forget. Other times, like now, I just know I’ll have to live this nightmare over and over again.
So when the beautiful brunette exits out of Holden’s dressing room, I know in my gut she’s going to change my life irrevocably. She’s wearing jeans, a simple button down top, and a nervous smile as she glances between Missy and me. “I thought we were meeting with Holden?” the woman asks.
“We will,” Missy says calmly. “But first, I wanted you to meet Kate. Kate, this is Megan.”
Confused, I give the woman a slight nod as a hello. Who is she? Why is Missy bringing her out to meet me now?”
“Katherine?” Holden’s voice on the phone tries to get my attention, but my focus is locked on Megan and I can’t bring myself to answer him. “Katherine, please,” Holden begs. “Are you there?”

REVIEW:SCARRED SOULS is the fourth instalment in Julie Weaver’s contemporary, adult TEAM ZULU erotic, romantic suspense series, and the first book in Vaughn and Hope’s duet. This is former US Navy/Special Ops members Vaughn Decker, and Hope Lopez’ story line. SCARRED SOULS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. More or less on his own, Vaughn quickly discovers not all is as it appears to be, and he too must learn to trust a woman whose keeping secret a threat to them all.

The relationship between Vaughn and Hope begins acrimoniously. Hope is not whom she claims to be, and in this, Vaughn struggles with the reality of what is . In hiding from her past, Hope believes she is a target, and Vaughn may be the man to destroy her heart. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters are limited although there are numerous tertiary side characters throughout. We are introduced to Hope’s best friend and physician Daphne, as well as the return of Brandon and Sage (The Payback #2).

SCARRED SOULS is a story of secrets and lies, power and control, friendships and acceptance, tragedy and survival. The premise is haunting and captivating; the romance is spicy; the characters are desperate and determined.
