ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 12, 2021

I am hers, and she is mine…

Vaughn has spent eons searching for the woman who captured his heart, only to be disappointed time and again. Sure, he sees her in his dreams. May get to touch and hold her. But it’s not the same. As the emptiness inside him grows, he jumps at the chance for a distraction. Setting his eyes on the dragons again in Zora is a balm, but it can’t compare to once again coming face-to-face with the gorgeous beauty who holds a piece of his soul.

With responsibilities comes sacrifice…

Eurwen has never known anything but the burden and joy of ruling the dragons. But unlike her twin, she’s always been curious about Earth and the Kings and felt as if something were missing from her life. When her reunion with her parents brings an unexpected surprise, she can’t help but give in to the pleasure that Vaughn offers. Still, her loyalty lies with her realm, and the hurdles in their way to happiness seem insurmountable—especially with a new and unknown foe seeking to destroy them.

Trust doesn’t come easily, but love conquers all. And no amount of time or space can keep those who belong together apart.

REVIEW:DRAGON MINE is the second instalment in Donna Grant’s contemporary, adult DRAGON KINGS erotic, paranormal, fantasy romance series-a spin off from the author’s DARK KINGS and the other numerous interconnected series. This is Teal Dragon King Vaughn, and half fae-half dragon hybrid Eurwen’s story line. DRAGON MINE can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion I recommend reading INFERNO (Dark Kings #18), and DRAGON REVEALED (Dragon Kings 1).

WARNING: If you have not read the DARK KINGS series or DRAGON REVEALED, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from several third person perspectives including Eurwen and Vaughn, DRAGON MINE follows Teal Dragon King Vaughn as he searches for a woman he met hundreds of years earlier, a woman he believes to be his fated mate. When King of Dragon Kings Con and his mate Light Fae Rhi cross the portal into Zora, in an effort to meet the children they never knew and reconnect with the dragons they have not seen in thousands of years, Vaughn asks to go along, believing his mate may be on the other side. Enter half fae/half dragon Eurwen. What ensues is the building relationship between Eurwen and Vaughn, and the potential fall-out as someone or something is targeting the dragons in Zora.

Eurwen and her brother Brandr have lived in Zora for all of their lives. Having never met their met their biological parents, and believing to have been abandoned, Eurwen and Brandr want nothing to do with the Dragon Kings until life in Zora begins to spiral out of control. Vaughn knew the woman he met years before was probably his fated mate but in all the years he has never been able to locate the woman, except in dreams, which were only too real to call fantasies. Eurwen and her brother made a pact never to cross the portal to Earth but Eurwen wanted something more, wanted to know about the dragons and Fae from whence she came. Meeting and falling for Dragon King Vaughn meant Eurwen had to remain in hiding, believing the Dragon Kings would take what didn’t belong.

The relationship between Eurwen and Vaughn began hundreds of years earlier but Vaughn could never find the woman with whom he would fall in love. Eurwen is part Fae, and therefore doesn’t believe in fated mates until she reconnects with our storyline hero, a man who stirs something deep within our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate, erotic and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters including a number of Dragon Kings and their mates: Con and Rhi, V(lad) and Claire, Ulrik and Eilish, Varek and Jeyra. The Silvers will finally have a place to call home.

DRAGON MINE is a story of family, pain and heart break; acceptance and revelations; secrets, truths, love and understanding. The premise is emotional, engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are dynamic, charismatic yet lost. DRAGON MINE is a revealing, tragic and character driven story line.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 13, 2021.

When Anna wakes up from a coma after a car crash, she discovers life has gone on without her. Her husband has been unfaithful—with her best friend—and she’s been long since replaced at work. While her old life is a distant memory, her new life feels like an empty shell. Then she meets the stranger who saved her life during the crash, and he changes everything.

Leif Larsen—tattooist, joker, and player—has his own scars thanks to the crash that put Anna in a coma. Helping her move on from her failed marriage, and create a new life, sounds like a perfect distraction. So when he needs a new roommate, he invites Anna to begin her new life with him.

Although their lives may have been put on pause, together they just might find a way to heal.

•••••••

REVIEW:PAUSE is the second instalment in Kylie Scott’s contemporary, adult LARSEN BROTHERS erotic, romance series focusing on the Larsen Brothers. This is thirty something, tattoo artist Leif Larsen, and twenty-seven year old Anna Arndt’s story line. PAUSE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Leif was first introduced in book one REPEAT.

NOTE: PAUSE was first released audible format in April 2021.

Told from first person perspective (Anna) PAUSE follows in the aftermath of a near fatal accident that left our heroine in a coma, and Leif Larsen wondering where everything went wrong. Seven months earlier a hit and run accident resulted in Anna losing control of her car, forcing a man on a motorcycle off of the road. Fast forward to present day wherein Anna awakens from a coma only to discover the life she once knew is no longer the same. Another three months will pass, following physical therapy and acceptance, Anna will seek out the stranger she had forced off the road. Enter tattoo artist Leif Larsen, and the man with whom Anna would fall in love. What ensues is the friends to lovers relationship between Anna and Leif, and the potential fall-out as neither one is ready to open their heart to a possible future.

Anna was a married woman the night of her accident but seven months later, Anna would discover her husband had been unfaithful with her best friend and boss. Hoping to connect with the man that stayed by her side at the scene of the accident, Anne will ‘reintroduce ‘ herself to Leif Larsen, a connection that had been forming throughout her stay at the hospital. Leif Larsen struggled in the weeks following the accident that has left him with scars both inside and out. Reading to Anna while she lay in the hospital gave Leif a sense of purpose, a purpose that would lead to something more.

The relationship between Anna and Leif is one of mutual and shared commiseration as the accident left both unanswered questions as to the who and why. Anna needed a place to stay, and Leif offered a room at his place, a room that would bring Anna into the orbit of our storyline hero but neither Leif nor Anna was looking for a permanent relationship having both been burned from relationships in the recent past. The $ex scenes are passionate, erotic and intense but I dislike the use of a certain four-letter word, although only used once, more for shock value than anything else.

The secondary and supporting characters include Anna’s friend Briar; Anna’s ex Ryan, and her ex best friend /boss Celine; Anna’s mother Denise, as well as Leif’s brother Ed, his girlfriend Clementine, and tattoo artist Tessa.

PAUSE is a story of family and friendships, betrayal and loss, relationships, acceptance, and love. The premise is real and heart warming; the characters are strong, determined and sassy; the sexual chemistry is palpable and hot; the romance is seductive and provocative. PAUSE is a wonderfully captivating addition to the author’s Larsen Brothers series.

Leif Larsen lives in a big old brown brick building with a sprawling dogwood out front in a cool urban neighborhood. No one answers when I press the buzzer. But according to the details on the scrap of paper the nurse gave me, I’ve got the right place.
What to do?
The rational response would be to give up and go home. Because hiding out in my childhood bedroom has worked out great so far (and this would be sarcasm). It’s been months since I left the house for anything other than a medical appointment. Weeks since I’ve heard from any friends. Right on cue, my cell buzzes inside my tan Coach purse. I don’t bother to look. Mom requests proof of life every hour on the hour. Not even dinner at the country club can distract her, apparently. Her parental concern for me is well past claustrophobic.
My hand clenches the iron railing against a gust of unseasonably warm evening wind. It’s been a while since I stopped using a mobility aid, but things can still feel tricky. The whole damn world does, if I’m being honest. So many things I took for granted have now been turned upside down.
This is the problem with living the supposed dream. With having an airtight plan for your life. Meet Prince Charming and marry him. Find the perfect job. Only problem is, if something goes wrong, when reality smacks you upside the head and sends you reeling, then there’s no system for putting the pieces back together. There’s no Plan B because it never occurred to you that you’d need one. A lack of imagination on my part, perhaps.
A motorcycle pulls up to the curb and it’s like everything happens in slow motion. Something about this long, lean man just makes time want to stand still. A denim-clad leg is swung over the back of the iron beast. A helmet is removed and shoulder-length hair tumbles free. High cheekbones and perfect lips are framed by stubble and all I can do is stare.
I don’t know if I’m intimidated or turned on or what.
“Can I help y . . .” he begins. There’s the faintest spark of recognition in his eyes.
I continue to stand there frozen.
“Fuck me,” he mutters, stalking closer. His gaze slides over me from top to toe, lingering on the small scars on my left cheek from the glass. There’s no attempt made to hide his curiosity. “It’s really you.”
Nichelle the nurse described him as being a nice young man. Nothing more. Certainly nothing that would prepare me for this. And I dispute “nice.” Ripped denim, battered leather, and a Harley-Davidson motorbike are not nice.
“Never seen you conscious before,” he says, getting even closer.
I just blink.
From beneath the collar and cuffs of his leather jacket emerge colorful tattoos. Lots of them. Blue waves and black letters. Red flames and white flowers. The man is a walking, talking piece of art. My parents would be horrified. Ryan too, for that matter. Not that any of their opinions matter. I need to forge my own path. Go my own way.
“How did you find me?” he asks with a faint frown.
“Oh. Ah.” I smooth down the front of my pale blue midi-length linen summer dress. My dark hair is slicked back in a low ponytail and my makeup is simple but perfect. It’s nice having some things I can control. “One of the nurses from the ICU told me about you and I wanted to come say thank you. But maybe an apology would be more in order?”
For a moment he pauses, then he asks, “Do you want to come in?”
Good question. The fact is, I don’t know. Nor do I know how to do this. Something made obvious when my mouth opens, but nothing comes out. So much nothing for such a length of time that it’s beyond embarrassing. Dammit. Whatever it is I came here looking for, it wasn’t this. Him. Whatever.
“We’ve never properly met, have we?” He holds out his big hand. “Hi, I’m Leif.”
“Anna.”
While I’m tentative, he shows no such reserve. Strong, warm fingers enfold my own stiff and cold ones. There’s no attempt at a dominating handshake or groping. He gives my hand a squeeze, just the one gentle squeeze, before setting me free.
“I’d say it’s nice to meet you, but that would be weird.” He grins conspiratorially and oh my God. Everything low in my stomach wakes up and takes notice. Shame on my lady parts, but the chemical pull of the man is ridiculous. It takes me a minute to remember that I’m a married woman. Mostly. Well, somewhat anyway. I certainly have no business smiling at him like I am. My life is messed up enough without adding a crush. Perhaps it’s in reaction to me, I don’t know, but the mirth disappears and his gaze becomes serious. A little bleak even. “I still have nightmares about that day, you know?”
“I’m sorry.”
“Not your fault.”
“I shouldn’t have come.”
“Don’t, Anna. Don’t look like that. I didn’t tell you to hurt you or make you uncomfortable. I was just . . . sharing.” His expression changes again, a more subdued smile taking the place of the brief hint of trauma. Then he suddenly winks at me all flirty like. I don’t know how to react. I can barely keep up. The man is a whirlwind. “Want to come in and have a beer with me?”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“I just . . . I don’t want to remind you of things you’d rather—”
“I want you to come inside. I wouldn’t have asked otherwise.”
A drink with a pretty wild man that I have a strange sort of history with or a swift return to safety and boredom? I don’t overthink it. I don’t even hesitate. “Then yes, Leif. I’d love to.”

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 12, 2021

She’d spent her entire life as a wallflower, hiding from the rest of the world.

Willow Thorne had gotten really good at blending in with the wallpaper. The shy, quiet little mouse was more comfortable spending her days in her protective little bubble. Then she met a big, burly mechanic who looked really good on a motorcycle and made her feel things she’d never felt before.

Gavin “Stone” Hendrix didn’t do commitment, and love was completely out of the question. After spending the first half of his life taking care of everyone else, he was done being the responsible one. Then he met a shy, nervous brunette who knocked him off his feet and made him question everything he thought he believed.

Willow brought out his protective instincts. Stone made her want to step out of her shell.

No one in a million years expected the hard-as-stone biker to fall for the wallflower, but the small town of Redemption was in for a major surprise.

••••••

REVIEW: Hear ye, hear ye, the wizard of words has graced us with her presence again and taken pity on her humble readers. Wallflower by Jessica Prince is a continuation of The Redemption series, book five in this contemporary small town romance series.

From the moment I met Willow in the previous books, I was dying to get my hands on her story. Willow is like so many women out there, a wallflower waiting to blossom, but sometimes that flower needs something a little more than water and sunshine to blossom. For Willow, that something is Stone. Gavin “Stone” Hendrix, the gargantuan, tatted, motorcycle riding man that poor Willow has been crushing on since he walked back into his hometown.

Now I know what you’re thinking, big bad biker, sweet, bashful Willow isn’t going to be his type, right? *Grins* You know that saying it’s the quite ones you have to worry about? Well that saying was made for Willow Thorne. Under all the bashfulness, the shy-klutzy girl, with her two sizes too big clothes lives a fire breathing dragon.

Stone, from an early point in his life has decided that relationships are not for him. For most of his life, Stone has been taking care of everyone else, his sister and family, and love was out of the question. Having now settled back into his hometown of Redemption, Stone is content to live his life with his one-night stands, his dog, and his cars.

That was until he met a certain dark-haired land mermaid.

From beginning to end, Wallflower is a book you will not be able to put down after starting. With funny banter between friends to happy moments with family, to spicy moments on motorcycles, it has it all. Willow and Stone are matched so well as characters that they feel so alive when you read them. Stone is a manly man, all set up to fight Willow’s battles for her, to take care of her, but that’s not who she is. Stone comes to learn that just being there for her means more to her than having things done for her. Willow has to be one of my most favorite characters from any series or author. With a backbone of steel but covered in kitten fur, she comes into her own in this book. For someone that has always been a loner, to gaining true, loving friends-Rora is freaking hilarious and I love her!- and finding someone that loves her, wallflower and all, Willow is relatable. It had been a good day.
Actually, that was an understatement. It had been a great day. At least until I got to my dad’s house to go through his kitchen and see what all he needed, only to discover that Elaina had seriously downplayed the need for food in his house.
I’d played it off that I was totally fine for my father’s benefit as I stewed in my anger while making a grocery list that took up the front and back of the page.
By the time I got to the store, I was in serious need of an outlet, so I cued up the Pissed Chick playlist on my phone, stuffed earbuds in my ears, and got to work. I was halfway through shopping, Alanis Morissette wailing about how you oughta know in my ears when I rounded the corner and my cart crashed into someone else’s.
“Sorry, I—” The rest of the words died in my throat when I looked up and saw the cart I’d plowed into belonged to none other than Stone himself, the very man I’d been thinking about nonstop since my talk with Lark earlier that morning. “Stone,” I said on a gasp, sucking back the air that my lungs had expelled at the mere sight of him. “Hi.”
He said something I couldn’t hear over the music ringing in my ears.
I gave him an apologetic smile and yanked the buds out of my ears. “Sorry, I didn’t hear you. What was that?”
The song had just reached the chorus, the volume so loud it carried several feet, and I could tell from the grin on his face that he definitely heard it. “Wow. Didn’t take you for an Alanis fan,” he said in that gravelly rasp that always made my skin tingle and pressure build between my thighs. What could I say? The man gave great voice. I didn’t know if male phone sex operators were a thing or not, but if they were, he could make a freaking fortune.
“Oh, uh, yeah. Sometimes. I have a playlist I like to listen to it when someone’s made me ragey.”
On cue, the song ended, and the next queued up; this time, it was Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name.”
His eyes went big at the sound of it. “You’re just full of surprises, mouse.”

It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey-a review

It Happened One Summer (It Happened One Summer 1) by Tessa Bailey-a review

Amazon.com / Amazon.ca / B&N / KOBO / Chapters Indigo / Google Play

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 13, 2021

Tessa Bailey is back with a Schitt’s Creek-inspired rom-com about a Hollywood “It Girl” who is cut off from her wealthy family and exiled to a small Pacific Northwest beach town… where she butts heads with a surly, sexy local who thinks she doesn’t belong.

Piper Bellinger is fashionable, influential, and her reputation as a wild child means the paparazzi are constantly on her heels. When too much champagne and an out-of-control rooftop party lands Piper in the slammer, her stepfather decides enough is enough. So he cuts her off, and sends Piper and her sister to learn some responsibility running their late father’s dive bar… in Washington.

Piper hasn’t even been in Westport for five minutes when she meets big, bearded sea captain Brendan, who thinks she won’t last a week outside of Beverly Hills. So what if Piper can’t do math, and the idea of sleeping in a shabby apartment with bunk beds gives her hives. How bad could it really be? She’s determined to show her stepfather—and the hot, grumpy local—that she’s more than a pretty face.

Except it’s a small town and everywhere she turns, she bumps into Brendan. The fun-loving socialite and the gruff fisherman are polar opposites, but there’s an undeniable attraction simmering between them. Piper doesn’t want any distractions, especially feelings for a man who sails off into the sunset for weeks at a time. Yet as she reconnects with her past and begins to feel at home in Westport, Piper starts to wonder if the cold, glamorous life she knew is what she truly wants. LA is calling her name, but Brendan—and this town full of memories—may have already caught her heart.

••••••••

REVIEW:IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER is the first instalment Tessa Bailey’s contemporary, adult IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER erotic, romance series. This is twenty-eight year old, Hollywood ‘It Girl’ Piper Bellinger, and fisherman Captain Brendan Taggart’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Brendan and Piper) IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER follows in the aftermath of Piper’s arrest for breaking and entering, and throwing a wild party where she didn’t belong. Piper is a ‘social media influencer’ whose life has been spiralling out of control. As punishment and to teach our heroine a lesson, her step-father Daniel reveals that her late father Henry Cross left her sister Hannah and Piper a bar in Westport, Washington, a small sea side town where Piper and Hannah, for the next three months, will learn to call home. Enter fisherman and widower Captain Brendan Taggart, and the man with whom Piper will fall in love. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Piper and Brendan, and the potential fall-out as Piper’s time in Westport comes to an end.

Piper Bellinger is nothing but a social media influencer; a party girl with no education or plans for the future, and in this, she struggles with the minimal daily tasks such as laundry and cooking. Sent to Westport, Washington, Piper and Hannah have three months to turn their lives around, three months wherein Piper will fall in love, and Hannah begins to reconsider her own future back in LA. Piper had never considered calling Westport her home, and had plans to return to LA when her ‘sentence’ was over but fixing up her late father’s bar, and falling in love with our story line hero, gave Piper pause for the future, a future she had never stopped to considered. Brendan Taggart is a Westport townie, having grown up living and working on the sea. Widowed seven years earlier, Brendan had yet to move on but meeting Piper Bellinger gave Brendan hopes for a new future, a future involving our story line heroine.

The relationship between Piper Brendan begins acrimoniously as Brendan is unable to see beyond the trash and flash of our story line heroine but something about Piper stirs our story line hero, and Brendan is the first to fall for the woman who is beginning to make herself at home. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.

We are introduced to a number of the local Westport citizens including Brendan’s friend Fox; his former father in law Mick Forrester; Piper and Hannah’s grandmother Opal Cross; Abe; Piper and Hannah’s step-father Daniel; Piper’s ex Adrian, and her LA friend Kirby.

IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER is inspired by the antics of Alexa on ‘Schitt’s Creek’, another social media influencer whose life experiences had never prepared her for the real world. The premise is entertaining and lively; the characters are spirited and sassy; the romance is provocative and energetic. Hannah’s story is next.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 13, 2021

This time, romance isn’t the only thing undercover(s).

It’s not exactly a traditional date night to get involved in a shootout. Then again, there’s nothing traditional about Lyra and Marcus. It was hard enough to hide their undercover work from each other–but discovering that their agencies are sworn enemies? Awkward.

Lyra has never been known for her impulse control, but shooting her boyfriend is definitely an all-time low. Marcus isn’t the type of agent to disobey orders, but he can’t seem to keep his eyes–or hands–off the infuriating woman he’s supposed to forget. Danger is closing in from all sides, forcing them to team up to solve their mutual problem… but the enemy is already closer than either of them know.

•••••••

REVIEW:THE ASSASSIN IN 5F is the second instalment in Nan Malone’s contemporary, adult COVERT AFFAIRS romantic suspense duet focusing on British Exodus agent Marcus Black, and The Firm’s Lyra ‘Adamson’ Wilkinson. THE ASSASSIN IN 5F should be not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book one THE SPY IN 3B.

SOME BACKGROUND: British Exodus agent Marcus Black, and The Firm’s Lyra Wilkinson are both Black Ops agents working on opposite sides of the pond, both contracted to take down a terrorist cell but someone has targeted our story line heroine, and in this, Lyra is unable to trust the man with whom she is falling in love.

NOTE: If you have not read book one, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Marcus and Lyra) THE ASSASSIN IN 5F picks up immediately after the events of book one in which Lyra believes she has killed Exodus agent Marcus Black, but in the aftermath, someone is gunning to take down our story line heroine. With Marcus’ ‘return from the dead’ Lyra will discover that everything she knows about her life is a series of secrets and lies, and with the help of her best friend Addie, and Marcus’ team at Exodus, Lyra must confront the person responsible only to end up a prisoner of the people in charge. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Marcus and Lyra, and the potential fall-out as secrets, lies and betrayal begin to affect our story line heroine.

The relationship between Lyra and Marcus continues to be fraught with issues of trust. Both have lied to one another about the who, how and why, and in this trust is the leading factor in their relationship going to forward. Lyra is receiving different messages from so called family, friends and co-workers, struggling to believe between what she learned, and what she has been told. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense but for a woman who is unable to trust the man with whom she is falling in love, jumping right back into a sexual relationship is questionable on soooooo many levels.

Once again, we welcome the return of Roz’s best friend and agent Addie Franklin; their boss Roz, and Lyra’s ex Tyler Warden, as well as Marcus’ best friend and partner Rhodes Matheson. I would like to see something develop between Addie and Rhodes.

THE ASSASSIN IN 5F is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, retaliation, accusations, relationships and love. A story of family and friendships, deception and treason. The fast paced, action-packed premise is tragic, gritty, inviting and engaging; the characters are stubborn and spirited ; the romance is edgy, spicy and dramatic.

USA Today bestseller Nana Malone’s love of all things romance and adventure started with a tattered romantic suspense she “borrowed” from her cousin.

It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

While she waits for her chance at a job as a ninja assassin, in the meantime Nana works out her drama, passion, and sass with fictional characters every bit as sassy and kick butt as she thinks she is.

What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Bree and Yanis, and the potential fall-out as Bree’s would be attacker returns to finish the job.

Yanis Mazur screwed up fifteen years earlier, pushing the only woman he would ever love out of his life but working together meant working with the woman that has stolen his heart, watching from the sidelines as she fell in love and married someone else. Bree Graves never stopped loving our story line hero but her heart was destroyed the day Yanis walked out of her life. Secrets long buried would come to the surface forcing Yanis to look long and hard at what happened and why. When the team at PASS find themselves in the direct line of fire, Yanis has to separate himself from the woman he loves, leaving a vulnerable Bree to protect the people he left behind.

The relationship between Bree and Yanis is one of second chances: a rekindling romance that was destroyed by secrets and lies, grief and guilt. Bree knew Yanis had always been the man who controlled her heart but her secrets could very well destroy the possibility of a happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many we have met in previous story lines: Jake and Rosie (Hit and Run #1); Dimis and Willa (Life and Limb #2); Hilary and Radar (Lock and Load 3); Kai, Shep and receptionist Lena; Yanis and Dimis’ parents Anna and Max; several local law enforcement, FBI; winery owner Joe Flynn, and mobsters Angelo Sarrazin, and Guiseppe Albero,

LOST AND FOUD is story of family, friendships, betrayal and love. A story of obsession, power, secrets and lies; a tale of second chances and forgiveness. The character driven premise is fast paced, engaging and captivating; the characters are feisty, energetic, and animated; the romance is provocative and intimate.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 12, 2021

Before I even met Donovan Decker, I knew his shoe size.
You see, I’d gone away for a few days, and in my haste to get out of the airport, I’d grabbed the wrong suitcase.
After checking out the expensive footwear and tailored clothes, I dialed the number on the luggage tag hoping maybe Mister Big Spender might have my bag.
A deep, velvety voice answered, and as luck would have it, he had my suitcase, too.
Donovan and I met at a coffee shop to do the exchange.
Turned out, it wasn’t just his voice that was sexy. The man holding my luggage was absolutely gorgeous, and we had an immediate spark.
He got me to admit that I’d snooped in his bag and then convinced me to make it up to him by letting him buy me coffee.
Coffee led to dinner, dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to spending an entire weekend together. Donovan wasn’t just handsome with a panty-dropping voice. He was also funny, smart, and surprisingly down to earth for a man who wore seven-hundred-dollar shoes.
Did I mention he also did my laundry while I slept? Definitely too good to be true.
So what did I do to repay him for his kindness?
I waited until he was in the shower, then ghosted him.
My life was too complicated for such a great guy.
In the months that passed, I thought about Donovan often.
But New York City had eight-million people, so what were the chances I’d run into him?
Then again, what were the chances I’d run into him a year later…when I’d just started dating his boss?

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date July 8, 2021

Nolan Bishop has felt like an outsider in the Savage Kings MC ever since he gave up the nomad lifestyle to try and put down some roots. He’s a convicted felon, searching for his place in the world without screwing up his probation.

The last thing Nolan needs is a giant oaf from a rival biker gang showing up at the MC’s clubhouse, threatening to kill Nolan if he doesn’t give his estranged wife, Rita, a divorce.

The funny thing is, Nolan is certain that he has never been married.

The name Rita does, unfortunately, ring a bell – she’s the reason he went to prison.

If Rita is lying about them being married, then she must be in serious trouble. Nolan just has to decide how much trouble the woman is worth.

Unlike before, now he knows that even the smallest mistake could not only send him back to prison, but also endanger the lives of all the Savage Kings.

REVIEW: NOLAN is the sixth instalment in the contemporary, adult SAVAGE KINGS MC-SOUTH CAROLINA erotic, MC, romance series co-authored by Lane Hart and DB West. This is thirty-four year old, MC member Nolan Bishop, and thirty year old accountant assistant/waitress Rita Collins’ story line. NOLAN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Nolan and Rita) covering two timelines, NOLAN follows the rebuilding romance and relationship between Nolan Bishop and Rita Collins. Five years earlier, Nolan Bishop fell for our story line heroine. Three glorious weeks ended with Nolan Bishop taking the fall for someone else, leaving a heart broken and misinformed Rita behind. Fast forward to present day wherein Nolan finds himself facing a threat of another sort, this one also attached to the woman he once loved. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Rita and Nolan, and the potential fall-out as Rita may have to spend the rest of her life on the run, in an effort to stay one step ahead of a man desperate to claim Rita as his own.

Five years earlier Nolan Bishop took the fall for a series of robberies and petty larceny but Nolan had no idea that Rita was unaware of what happened or why, and in this our heroine spent the last five years angry that Nolan had ghosted in the middle of the day. Rita Collins has worked two jobs for close to 11 years in an effort to look after herself and her younger brother but our heroine was facing a new battle when another MC took control of the place where she worked. In an effort to protect the woman he loved, Nolan and the Savage Kings MC worked behind the scenes, setting up plans that would inevitably see our couple on separate paths for the rest of their lives.

The relationship between Nolan and Rita is one of immediate attraction for our story line hero but Rita refuses to get involved with the local biker MC. Leaving her no choice, Nolan becomes protector and body guard only to find himself facing several years in jail for something he did not do. Rita is desperate to stay one step ahead of the man hunting her down but in doing so pulls Nolan into her own corner of h*ll, a corner from which neither may return. The $ex scenes are intimate, and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several of the previous story line couples, as well as Nolan’s friends Abel and Hugo; Rita’s brother Cory, and a number of members from the Rebel Henchman MC. Abel’s story is next.

NOLAN is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies;obsession, lust, power and control. The premise is gritty and twisted; the romance is provocative; the characters are animated and determined.
