REVIEW:TRUSTING MOLLY is the third instalment in Susan Stoker’s contemporary, adult SILVERSTONE romantic suspense series focusing on group of former US Special Forces soldiers, who own and operate Silverstone Towing. This is thirty-eight year old, Mark ‘Smoke’ Chamberlin, and thirty-five year old Molly Smith’s story line. TRUSTING MOLLY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The SILVERSTONE series is a spin off from the author’s Mountain Mercenaries series but you do not have to have read the aforementioned series to understand or follow the current timeline.

Mark Chamberlin fell immediately for our story line heroine. Protective to a fault, Mark offers Molly a place to stay, believing his security is enough to protect our story line heroine. Having watched several of his teammates fall in love, Mark wants the same, and Molly is the perfect fit for our story line hero. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We welcome the return of Bull and Skylar, Eagle and Taylor, Gramps aka Leonardo, and Eagle aka Kellan; several Silverstone Towing employees including Bart Jose and Leigh; single father Shawn Archer, as well as Molly’s ex boyfriend Preston Weldon. Gramps and Cassidy’s story is next.

REVIEW:Your advised to read the description and trigger warning before going ahead with this book….

Second book in this series, and you really should read the first book before diving into the next one, otherwise most of the book won’t make sense.

It’s been a little while since the first book (oh all right, just four months!) and not that I needed an excuse to read Lenore and Absolon’s first book, I just wanted to visit again ?

So……
This book starts where the last book finished. And I’m going to try not to give anything away. We spend the first half of the book watching the couple build a bond, it’s kinky, freaky and romantic all in equal parts.

Second part of the book is a non stop rollercoaster of emotions, fights and parental blowups!

Lenore is trying to manage her new skills as a witch/vampire, her parents are doing their best to help her, but they are also keeping their distance. Solon is also trying to help, but he can only help with the vampire side, to control her thirst, and getting to grips with her strength. And then her biological father shows up and tells her he can help her tap into her potential! (But why do I get the feeling her father isn’t going to be a great role model!)

Absolon is also trying to come to terms with his relationship with Lenore. He honestly never thought he’d love someone as much as Lenore, but he also worries for her and about her….His beast is trying to make its presence known, and if Solon doesn’t keep a hard hold on it and the beast breaks free, it could take the one thing Solon truly loves…..

We also get to see new and old characters, and so there should be plenty of spin-off’s Solon’s siblings, Lenore’s and Solon’s friends Amethyst and Wolf (there was some series vibes going on between these two) these added vibrancy and much needed relief and help in places.

The ending did grab me by the throat! I did not see that coming!!

It’s all about fighting the darkness and evil within oneself. It’s love and hate. Betrayal and redemption. Family doesn’t have to be blood. And friends can turn into family. Solon’s brother was great, his father King Skarde was one mean SOB! I couldn’t put the book down, it had me riveted to the pages. There will be moments that will have you cringing, parts that will have you almost throwing your kindle to the wall! But there is also moments that will bring a tear to your eye. It’s so cleverly written, it flows seamlessly from one chapter to the other.

It’s a great book, it’s dark, it’s disturbing and it’s a highly recommended book from me.

We stare at each other for what feels like forever, and my nerves spike with every second that passes.
The way he looks at me makes me uncomfortable. It’s with an air of fascination that makes me wonder if it was he I lost my virginity to.
Annoyingly, the thought sends a shiver of arousal through me, and the weight pulls on my core.
There’s an attraction between us I don’t want to accept, especially after last night. And this morning.
Yet, as I stare at him, I can’t help but wonder how we would have met if my father didn’t know I knew him.
How close were we?
I have so many questions, ones I feel he won’t answer,
“Go on, Printsessa,” he urges with a cocky smile that should be as illegal as he is. “Ask me. I don’t want my bride’s head to explode with all those questions she has swirling around in there.”
Him calling me his bride makes me cringe.
“Why do you want to marry me? What sort of business benefit is there in marrying me?”
“Business benefit?” He inclines his head, and his hair drifts over his shoulder. The fading sunlight captures the lighter hints of brown in the dark mass of wild hair.

I shake my head. “I don’t want to marry you.”
“You don’t have a choice, and if I were you, I wouldn’t create problems. Your father wasn’t joking when he told you to do as you’re told. You need to. If you don’t create problems, you won’t have a problem with me.”
He touches my cheek, and my body instantly betrays me.
The memory of his face comes into my mind, along with a kiss—the one from last night and another from before. That was the one I dreamt about.
“Where do I know you from?”
“I told you, you shouldn’t try and remember me.”
“Why? You’re the only thing I remember,” I confess, and as the words leave my lips, I regret it. I don’t think I should have told him that.
“Is that so? How unfortunate for you.” He backs away.
“You said you wouldn’t hurt me.”
