REVIEW: DIRTY BOY is the second instalment in Sapphire Knight’s contemporary, adult RMBC: CENTRAL TEXAS dark, erotic, MC romance series set in the multi-authored RBMC world. This is club VP Blow aka Trent,and Sydney’s story line. DIRTY BOY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Blow and Sydney) DIRTY BOY focuses on the relationship between our story line couple. After having ‘rescued’ an ol’ lady’s sister from rehab, Blow finds himself on the outside looking in until a woman he believes is a stripper, propositions our hero for the night . Enter Sydney, the woman with whom Blow will quickly fall in love. Sydney is the perfect foil for the club VP but Sydney is not whom she presents herself to be, and our heroine will become the target of Angel, the club enforcer. On the run with the woman who stole his heart, Blow will have to make a choice between life and death, and a future with Sydney or the RBMC: Central Texas MC.

The world building focuses on betrayal and power, and the brotherhood of the MC world. Deception will come at a cost, forcing Blow, Sydney and the Club to come to an agreement in the hopes of moving forward.

The relationship between Sydney and Blow begins as a hook up; a one night stand that ends when lies are exposed, secrets revealed, and lives are threatened for the perceived betrayal. Blow wants to keep Sydney alive but there are others who are hoping to destroy them both. The $ex scenes are provocative and intense-the language is graphic throughout.

We are reintroduced to several of the RBMC: Central Texas members including Club president Ripper, Enforcer Angel, Whiskey, Powerhouse, Plague, Baker and Wrench.

DIRTY BOY is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, secrets and lies, forgiveness and acceptance, understanding and love. The premise is graphic, dramatic and gritty; the romance is limited to scenes of fast and furious $ex; the characters are desperate, determined, and dirty .
