ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 31, 2024

Insulting my dream woman five minutes after the hottest hookup of my life was not how I thought today was going to go.

From lovers to enemies, we find ourselves fighting more than making up. But man, when we do make up the whole house is on fire. Okay, so it’s a cottage on the lake.

In the town I grew up in.

The same town I thought I left in my rearview when I answered New York City’s siren call.

Now I’m back trying to figure out how I went from top of my game as a graphic novelist, to failing businessman.

Maybe the key to both is where I began.

Just when I started to get my feet under me, surprise! The hot hookup gave me a brand new project to explore. I just have to convince the woman of my dreams I’m not the nightmare she thinks I am.

And I have to learn how to write a happily ever after for all three of us.

REVIEW:DRIVEN DADDY is the seventeenth instalment in Taryn Quinn’s contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series. This is graphic novelist Penn Masterson, and romance author Rita Savage’s story line. DRIVEN DADDY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary

Told from dual first person perspectives (Penn and Rita) DRIVEN DADDY follows the building romance and relationship between ours story line couple. Rita Savage is struggling in the wake of her writing partner’s abrupt departure and betrayal. Leaving New York for some R&R in Crescent Cove, Rita will come face to face with graphic novel writer and hometown boy Penn Masterson, the man with whom Rita will fall in love. Penn is hoping to start his own independent publishing house, and when an opportunity present, Penn is determined to bring Rita along for the ride. Rita is determined to take control of her career but Crescent Cove’s reputation is about to hit our couple when they least expect it.

The world building follows Rita’s need to move forward on her own. Betrayal from her previous co-author continues to hit Rita as the weeks go buy but Independence means working alone, something with Rita is all too familiar. Penn Masterson comes from a large close knit family, and Crescent Cove is about to welcome home our hero, and the woman with whom he is falling in love.

The relationship between Rita and Penn begins acrimoniously when Penn makes a derogatory comment about Rita’s chosen profession. Struggling to move on from another perceived betrayal, Rita finds herself falling for a man who may or may not be staying for long. The $ex scenes are impassioned and provocative.

The secondary and supporting characters include Penn’s business partner Larsen McCade, businessman Asher Waniwright, as well as several hometown regulars including Penn’s brother Travis and his ex Bridget.

DRIVEN DADDY is a story of heart break and betrayal, family and relationships, friendships, and love. The premise is inviting and realistic; the characters are sassy, animated and honest; the romance is edgy and tender.
