REVIEW:ELIJAH’S WANT is the is the eighth instalment in Victoria Blue’s contemporary, adult SHARK’S EDGE erotic, romantic suspense series, and the second instalment in Elijah and Hanna’s story. This is the continuing story of caterer/chef Hannah Farley, and billionaire businessman / security specialist Elijah Banks’ story line. ELIJAH’S WANT should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events of book 7 ELIJAH’S WHIM. Elijah Banks is the third member of a business triangle co-owned with Grant Twombley and Sebastian Shark.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Hannah and Elijah) ELIJAH’S WANT picks up immediately after the events of book one (eight) ELIJAH’S WHIM. Elijah has fallen in love with our story line heroine but both have pasts that are threatening to destroy their blossoming relationship. Hannah and Elijah have both struggled to reveal the truth, secrets and lies that are about to place both in the direct line of fire. Elijah’s past is forcing our hero to relive his life, threatening Elijah’s hard fought struggle for control, and Hannah has yet to accept what has happened or why. A mysterious text message marks Hannah as a target, as Elijah struggles to reveal the truth, knowing once exposed, could be the end of his relationship, his business and his life.

The relationship between Elijah and Hannah continues to grow but Hannah sees her relationship with Elijah as temporary in the face of the threats from her past. Trying to convince herself that she would be better off without the man with whom she is falling in love, Hannah goes from the proverbial frying pan into the fire, and finds herself alone when the danger goes dark. Elijah Banks knows he has fallen in love without story line heroine but as the past collides with the present, everything begins to spiral out of control. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Hannah’s boss and Grant’s love Rio Gibson; Elijah’s business partners Grant Twombley; Sebastian and Abbi Shark; Hannah’s parents, her immature and combative sisters, and several security personnel including Jacob Cole.

ELIJAH’S WANT is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, family, relationships, friendships and love.
