Cami
Growing up the way I did, it’s no wonder I had to resort to stripping to make ends meet. I refuse to be my mother though, no matter the cost.
So when I land the interview of a lifetime at one of the better strip joints in the city, I think I have it made.
Until I meet him.
Fang.
He not only hires me, but he begins to haunt my dreams.
Things aren’t always as they seem though and when push comes to shove, will I be strong enough to survive the hand dealt or will I crumble like a house of cards?
Fang
I never wanted to manage a strip club, but I am willing to do whatever I have to in order to make my brothers’ lives easier. So here I am dealing with cat fights and glitter.
The whole thing is causing me a big headache until I meet her.
Cami.
She’s a skittish dancer who refuses to do more than twirl her body around on stage, but I can’t get her out of my mind.
She comes with a lot of baggage though, not that I mind.
After all, what’s the point of being part of the Lotus MC if I’m not able to carry a bit of weight for the girl of my dreams?

REVIEW: FANG is the second instalment in Cala Riley’s contemporary, adult LOTUS MC: SAN ANTONIO erotic, MC romance series, a spin off, set in the author’s LOTUS MC world. This is Lotus MC Road Captain Jensen ‘Fang’ and nineteen year old, exotic dancer Cami Johnson’s story line. FANG can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Fang and Cami) FANG follows the building romance and relationship between our story line couple. Fang manages the Lotus MC strip club and finds himself attracted to the club’s premier dancer Cami Johnson but Fang suspects Cami is hiding a secret, and is determined to protect our heroine with his life. From the outset, Cami finds herself the target of jealousy and rage, obsession and sexual predators. Her early life was troublesome and dark, and the bullies return ensuring she never forgets about from where she came. As Cami and Fang’s relationship slowly turns into something more, someone else is waiting to destroy what has barely begun.
The world building focuses on several pathways including the jealousy and mean girls where Cami works. Struggling to pay her bills, including her college tuition, Cami dances nights while attending school during the day but the trolls refuse to let go, and Cami finds herself reliving the past at every opportunity.
The relationship between Cami and Fang begins as boss and employee but Fang is hoping for something more . Lusting after Cami means setting himself apart from the members of the MC, as he refuses to give up the girl that calls to his heart but more than one person is targeting our story line heroine, and Fang is determined to protect the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, energetic and charismatic secondary and supporting characters many of whom we met in the previous instalment. We are reintroduced to Savage and Bailey, Happy, Crank, Tiny, Loyal; bartender Erin, dancers Venus and Misty; MC member Biggy from the NorCal club; the introduction of prospects Keith Ard and Andrew Gold; and Cami’s school bully Zak. The requisite evil has many faces.
FANG is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, obsession and madness, friendships and relationships, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is seductive and passionate; the characters are determined, broken yet struggling to thrive.

Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.
