Haven by the Sea
A poem based on the Drake Sisters novels by Christine Feehan
Christine Feehan had a thought, an idea that flew with wings.
To write a book, about the sea. Each story she would sing.
Seven sisters tell the tale, each one a special power.
Of love, of hate, of shattered dreams. Behold, the witching hour.
A house as strong as gilded steel, to protect the lives within.
A prophecy of fated love, each sister, she would win.
The gates will open, with each sound, as lover’s hearts are freed.
To find the one, who’d cherish each, at the Haven by the sea.
Sarah has a secret kept. Deep shadows haunt her past.
Damon hides a guilt, so dark, but now the die is cast.
Kate is writing, working hard, the mill did call her name.
But Matt has stolen, Katie’s heart. He wants to play her game.
Abby loved a Russian man. The dolphins she could tame.
But Aleksander knew his life, would never be the same.
Libby healed a broken man. She also healed his heart.
Ty awakened, love renewed. The pair would never part.
Jonas knew he found his mate, with Hannah brave and strong.
She touched a part deep in his soul. Their love was never wrong.
Joley knew within her heart, that Ilya was her love.
Magic sings deep in her veins, a blessing from above.
Elle is missing. Jackson knew, he thought he’d lost his mind.
The faith he had, above all else. The love he hoped to find.
Rikki dreamed of burning nights, of sorrow and of pain.
Her love for Lev grew stronger still, not tempered by the rain.
Judith painted colors bold. A secret she did hide.
Stefan needed Judith’s love, to keep his soul alive.
When lovers meet, each whispered sigh, is heard across the sea.
A story told, on winds that cry, their souls are finally free.
