REVIEW:INDECENT SECRETS is the second instalment in Erika Wilde’s contemporary adult INDECENT erotic, romance suspense series focusing on EPC-Elite Protection and Consulting. This is Bryce Rivers aka Jack Lawton, and Leigh Bristow’s story line. INDECENT SECRETS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Bryce and Leigh) INDECENT SECRETS follows in the aftermath of the death of billionaire businessman who owned Lawton Industries, who left everything including the business to his nephew Jack but Jack is a recluse, a university philosophy professor who suffers with severe social anxiety, and something about his uncle’s death doesn’t quite add up. In the hope of revealing the truth, Jack contracts with EPC-Elite Protection and Consulting, in an effort to ferret out any and all information about the people who work for Lawton Industries. Enter Bryce Rivers, who will take the place of Jack Lawton, a man whose identity is difficult to find but all is not well at Lawton Industries, when the employees begin to reveal the truth about the late Mr. Lawton, and Bryce begins to suspect that his death was not natural. Meanwhile, Leigh Bristow, a woman who presents herself as a corporate consultant has plans of her own, plans that didn’t include falling in love with our story line hero. What ensues is the building and highly sexual relationship between Bryce and Leigh, and the potential fall-out when Bryce and Leigh get too close to the truth.

The relationship between Bryce and Leigh begins as a lie; fake identities working in opposition to one another but eventually working together to reveal the truth. Bryce Rivers is a Dominant who takes control from the outset but Leigh’s submission may come at the cost of her own investigation. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and erotic.

The secondary and supporting characters include several employees at Lawton Industries including executive assistant Rebecca, corporate lawyer David Weston, investors, members of the board, as well as the reclusive Jack Lawton, and the return of Seth Maxwell, a partner at EPC.

INDECENT SECRETS is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, secrets and lies, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is intriguing and captivating; the romance is seductive and provocative; the characters are energetic, charismatic and determined.
