REVIEW: Winning in Formula 1 is hard enough. But a woman! An Omega! Well it’s never been done. But Vanessa is going to change that. Getting her chance to race in this arena has always been her dream. Raised by her beloved grandfather after losing her parents. He took her to races and gave her the big.

Signing her contract was a highlight. Sharing it with her best friend Annika and her grandfather Vance (who she’s named after and was a famous driver himself, no pressure then😉) It’s all done over a video call so no first meeting until the news conference they will have in a few days time. Over the video chat Vanessa finds Grayson hits all her hot buttons 😉

Meeting her Team Principal (the team principal is the person who is in charge of a constructor team and its personnel. They are usually responsible for issuing team orders and making day-to-day decisions) changes all her plans!

Grayson is stunned! Vanessa is his Omega! But better than that, she’s a scent match (scent matching is like the holy grail of matches.)

He can’t wait to show her to his pack.

The rest of the pack is made up of Beck, a race engineer, and Alpha. Then beta Elias (who we find out is Brittanian nobility) who is the teams mechanic. And River, another alpha, he is a two-time world champion, (but sadly drives for another team.)

But this causes problems that no one could predict! They can’t announce it to the world like they want to, (some will say it’s favouritism to their new Omega!) So they have to keep it a secret.

And someone isn’t happy with her becoming not only the first female driver, but taking a valuable place that could face been given to a better (male) driver!

Sabotage/mystery and a whole lot of underhanded games then ensue.

And can Vanessa really relax enough to be their omega? when she’s worked so hard to be where she is! And what will happen when their secret is finally revealed?

I love reading Devyn’s work. Her Omegaverse is always so diverse. And this one has to be her best so far.🩷

I loved Vanessa and her pack. Cried buckets when things in the book happen, and don’t read it at work (spicy parts will have you blushing 😜)

I loved the part when River (who has a massive crush on Vanessa,) finds out she’s their omega and has to wait to meet her in private. (Being scent matched takes over all your common sense, and Grayson,Beck and Elias are worried River would give the game away!)

I liked the news snippets we get at the beginning of each chapter.

And at the end, we get the playlist and the terms that were used in the book.
