Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Leo and Camille) JUST ONE MORE DATE focuses on Leo Watson’s search for a date for the company’s annual Christmas Eve part, a date to play the part of his ‘temporary’ girlfriend but when his friends turned him down, Leo approaches the beautiful barista who serves his daily peppermint mocha latte, a woman with whom Leo will fall in love. As Leo and Cammie begins to dance around one another, not one but two betrayals begin to push Cammie out of his life.
The world building covers but a few days in the life of our story line couple as Cammie and Leo get to know one another but Cammie is not part of the world in which Leo was raised, and in this, or heroine finds herself on the outside looking in, feeling like she doesn’t belong.
The relationship between Cammie and Leo begins with an offer of a fake relationship; a one night party that will quickly turn into something more. As Cammie struggles to fit in, Leo is determined to claim our heroine as his own. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
We are reintroduced to Leo’s best Charlotte ‘Charlie’ Kendall, and his sister Jenny Watson.
