REVIEW: LIVE LOVE STEAL is the second instalment in Calia Wilde’s contemporary, adult DESTROYERS MC: SKILLETSVILLE PA erotic,MC romance series-a spin off set in the author’s DESTROYERS MC world. This is mechanic, David ‘Sketch’ McMullen, and ad executive Isobel Adelard’s story line. LIVE LOVE STEAL can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Sketch and Isobel) LIVE LOVE STEAL follows several pathways including the building relationship between our story line couple. Isobel Adelard was due in court to fight a ticket for running a red light, yet she was never in the area when the offense occurred. David ‘Sketch’ McMullen was fighting for custody of his seven year old son, when a stalled elevator thwarted both Sketch and Isobel’s scheduled times for court but when Isobel finds her car in the parking lot all but destroyed, Sketch begins to unravel a series of events that would tie Isobel and the Destroyers MC together. Offering to drive Isobel home, Sketch and our heroine will find themselves in a fight for their lives as would-be gang bangers, car thieves, a greedy obnoxious mother, a sick child, and a multi-million dollar ad presentation would pull our couple together in an effort to get things done.

The world building is frenzied and complex as several events coincide together as Isobel tries desperately to retrieve her broken car, and Sketch is pulled in too many direction including a custody battle that should never have happened.

The relationship between Sketch and Isobel begins feverishly and stormy as our couple must navigate a stalled elevator, an attempt to steal Isobel’s car, and a gang-banger that recognizes our heroine in the wrong part of town. The Destroyers members begin to question Sketch’s involvement with Isobel Adelard but our heroine is able to go head to head with their peculiarities and third degree. The $ex scenes are intimate and provocative without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of energetic, impassioned and dangerous secondary and supporting characters including the members of the Destroyers MC. We are introduced to Sketch’s ex Sharon, and their son Noah, as well as Isobel’s sister Audrey, and their parents. The requisite evil has many faces.

LIVE LOVE STEAL is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, greed and obstinance, acceptance and love. The fast paced, character driven premise is detailed and captivating; the romance is tumultuous and wild; the characters are desperate, dynamic and animated.
