REVIEW:LURING LIGHT is the second instalment in KE Osborn’s contemporary, adult ROYAL BASTARDS MC: Tampa. FL erotic, MC romance series, and the latest instalment in the multi-authored Royal Bastards MC series (RBMC). This is Royal Bastards MC: Tampa Fl VP Cade ‘Void’ Nixon, and Ivy ‘Toxin’ Perez’s story line. LURING LIGHT can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading book one DEFINING DARKNESS for background and history as it pertains to Ivy and her sister Eva.

NOTE: LURING LIGHT contains scenes of D/s situations, erotic-asphyxiation, and situations that may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

SOME BACKGROUND: Months earlier, Ivy and her sister Eva were abducted from their home in Cuba and sold to a Mafia Don in Florida, but Royal Bastards MC: Tampa Fl president Nycto bought Ivy and Eva, and in the ensuing time Nycto fell in love with Eva, and Ivy worked for the RBMC.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Ivy and Void) LURING LIGHT follows the building relationship between RBMC VP Cade ‘Void’ Nixon, and Ivy ‘Toxin’ Perez. Ivy Perez, alongside prospect Dash, work in the weed-processing lab for the RBMC but Ivy’s attraction to the club VP is tempered by Void’s darkness and distance, a darkness matched by our heroine’s own. A series of threats against our story line couple force Ivy and Void into hiding, but someone has tracked their movements and is determined to take back everything they lost. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Ivy and Void, and the potential fall-out as Void’s past returns seeking redemption and retribution.

The relationship between Void and Ivy is one of mutual attraction but Void struggles with demons from his past, and refuses to place Ivy in possible danger. Ivy’s life has been difficult from the start but she is the perfect foil for our hero’s dark needs and complicated past. The $ex scenes are dramatic and intense.

We are reintroduced to Club president Nycto and Ivy’s sister Eva; prospect Dash, as well as Mafia Don Antonio DeLuca, his daughter Mia, and Tony’s brother Matteo.

LURING LIGHT is a story of betrayal, vengeance, redemption and love. The premise is edgy; the romance is startling; the characters are broken and impassioned.

But I want to address the unreality of a certain situation that to my knowledge is not possible or would never happen. Keeping the story line believable is not only paramount but necessary to keep the reader’s attention. I did some research, and not only would it not have happened but it would not be respectable or honored by the members of the MC or any affiliates there of.
