REVIEW:- MILLIONS is the final instalment in Pepper Winters’ contemporary, adult DOLLAR dark romance series focusing on billionaire Elder Prest, and TAmsyn ‘Pimlico’ Blythe. MILLIONS should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately upon the events of book four THOUSANDS. For fans of Pepper’s series there is a cross over with the characters from the author’s Monsters in the Dark.

NOTE: If you have not read book four-THOUSANDS-there may be some spoilers in my review. There are some scenes of graphic violence, bloodshed and death.

SOME BACKGROUND: Two years earlier Tasmin Blythe was sold to a sadistic Norwegian businessman and in the ensuing time suffered abuse, rape and torture at the hands of Alrik Asbjorn (aka Master A) and several of his friends and associates. Refusing to give Alrik the satisfaction of her pain and turmoil, and in an effort to protect her mind our heroine shut down and opted for selective mutism. The Dollars Series is her story of recovery, healing and falling in love.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Pim and Elder) with an introductory prologue by Selix (Elder’s right hand man) MILLIONS is the long awaited conclusion to Pepper Winters’ DOLLAR dark, romance series. At the end of book four-THOUSANDS-our heroine Pimlico has gone missing following not one but two raids and attacks against Elder Prest aboard his luxury yacht the Phantom. While an enemy from his past has resurfaced demanding revenge and retribution, a new foe mistakenly believes Elder is responsible for the suffering of our story line heroine. What ensues are Elder’s plans to extricate the woman he loves, and the take down of an old enemy that is determined to destroy everything and everyone Elder loves.

MILLIONS brings together the characters and couples from the authors Monster in the Dark Series- ‘Q’ Mercer and his wife Tess, Franco and Suzette- as Elder must do battle to protect the woman that he loves but in doing so brings the enemy to the front door threatening Q and the woman he loves.

Pepper Winters writes emotional story lines with strong woman who have battled demons and the devil, only to resurface stronger and free. The men they love are hard core alpha males who have struggled between right and wrong, and in the end found forgiveness and a happily ever after with the women they love.
