I know the feeling! I’ve read every HON book by P.C and Kristen Cast! Such talent! But, I can answer your question as to why she’s not dead. Neferet isn’t dead (yet) because she’s immortal…uh, that means she cannot die. Kalona mentions in Destined that she’s immortal, and that the only way she can die…is if she kills herself. Zoey and the gang must come up with a plan that will make Neferet take part in her own death without her realizing it. Neferet’s Curse is the only book I need to read (minus the new novel[s] coming out.
