Cole Donovan, along with his business partner British-born Daniel Stewart, have just opened The Invitation, the newest hotel on the Vegas strip, directly across from the Carmichael family owned The Extravagant Hotel. A black-tie masquerade ball at The Invitation finds Cole and Daniel seducing a masked yet unidentifiable Sage, resulting in the awkward morning after meeting between Vegas competitors. Competitors in business and the boardroom but lovers on the side, Cole and Sage’s relationship turns into something more but not before the threesome continue to heat up the bedroom with their sexual desires. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Sage and Cole, and the potential fall-out as issues of trust continue to fester for our leading couple.

Sage, Cole and Daniel have all loved and lost but the focus of this story is on the past betrayal of our heroine, and Cole’s loss of a former love. Sage continues to struggle in the face of betrayal in a previous relationship; and Cole’s inability to move forward finds his best friend intimately involved in finding someone for Cole to love.
