REVIEW: ORIGINAL SINS is the sixth instalment and prequel in Faith Summers’ contemporary, adult DARK ODYSSEY dark, erotic, Mafia romance series. This is eighteen year old Evangeline ‘Evie’ Ricci, Georgiou Giordano, and Henry DuBois’ story line ORIGINAL SINS can be read as a stand alone as it sets the stage for the Dark Odyssey series.

Told from three first person perspectives (Evie, Georgiou, and Henry) ORIGINAL SINS follows the forbidden relationship between eighteen year old Evangeline Ricci, and thirty year old Georgiou Giordano and Henry DuBois. On her eighteenth birthday Evangeline discovered that her father, Donatello Ricci, had arranged to marry her off to Peter Marino, his violent and abusive right hand man. Desperate to escape but no money at her disposal, Evie’s cousin Cordelia arranges for Evie to participate in a ‘virgin auction’ where she will meet her future-Henry DuBois and Georgiou Giordano, a future that is about to spiral out of control. As Peter makes a claim and threats against our storyline heroine, Evie basks in the short time she spends with Georgiou and Henry. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Evie, Henry and Georgiou, and the potential fall-out as betrayal and vengeance threaten to destroy everyone she loves.

Henry and Georgiou have no idea as to the true identity of our story line heroine, all they know is that both are falling for a woman who calls herself Evie Montrose but secrets are about to reveal that there is more to Evie than they could have ever imagined. Deception and betrayal are about to place Evie and her father in the direct line of fire, and it will take the love of two men to save our story line heroine.

The relationship between Evie, and Henry and Georgiou is begins as a business transaction wherein Henry and Georgiou outbid all other contenders for our heroine’s virginity. Desperate to escape a future with a man she does not love, Evie agrees to one month wherein she will equally fall in love with both Henry and Georgiou. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic, and intense.

ORIGINAL SINS introduces the history and development of the $ex club Dark Odyssey, as well as the partners whose stories were told in books 1-5. We are introduced to Evie’s father Donatello Ricci, as well as her cousin Cordelia, and Donatello’s right hand man Peter Marino. The premise is intriguing, captivating , gritty and twisted; the characters are energetic, dynamic and determined; the romance is erotic and seductive.
