REVIEW: PROPERTY OF SCYTHE is the first instalment in Nikki Landis’s contemporary, adult KINGS OF ANARCHY MC: OHIO erotic, MC, paranormal, romance series, a part of the multi-authored KINGS OF ANARCHY MC series. Told from dual first person perspectives (Lottie and Scythe) PROPERTY OF SCYTHE focuses on the hunt for a killer. Charlotte ‘Lottie’ Bishop is new to Raven’s Crest Ohio, the new third grade teacher, and a woman who knows a thing or two about being stalked but Lottie never expected to come face to face with the man who has been starring in her dreams, KOAMC president Scythe, a man who is willing to die to protect our story line heroine. With the approach of the fall holidays, someone is terrorizing the town of Raven’s Crest, taking aim at our story line heroine.

The world building is fast paced, and focuses on the haunted houses and corn mazes of Raven’s Crest Ohio, an entertainment playground run by the KOAMC but when body parts and blood are discovered, the club begins to circle the proverbial wagons as the threats against Lottie increase at an alarming rate.

The relationship between Scythe and Lottie is one of immediate attraction although both have ‘met’ in one another’s dreams. Scythe is determined to protect our heroine, while Lottie suspects there is more to Raven’s Crest than she could have ever imagined. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

The secondary and supporting characters are energetic and determined: Scythe’s daughter Mila, and Mila’s aunt Emma; SAA Phantom, Scythe’s brother Sheriff Boomer, Hangman, VP Mountain, Voodoo, Sasquatch, Prospect Chris, and Granny Jo.

PROPERTY OF SCYTHE is a story of betrayal and vengeance, madness and murder, acceptance and love. The fast paced premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is limited but seductive; the characters are desperate, dynamic and magical.
