ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 6, 2018
Our lives aren’t beautiful or glamorous. They’re dirty and f*cked up.
We live the nightmares people live in fear of.
We live on the edge of the law wondering when it will finally catch up with us or who will bury us before that happens.
But its the outlaw life we chose. It was a choice we all made, and I wouldn’t f*ckin’ take it back. Not ever.
Until she walked into my life and made me second guess everything, I have ever known.
She is an angel, and I am tainted in darkness.
She is pure perfection, and I am stained and bloodied.
I want her, but I know I will never have her.
I just hope that I can come to terms with the fact that she belongs to someone else, and there is nothing I can ever do about it.
My name is Ryker, and this is my story.

REVIEW: RYKER is the first instalment in Dawn Robertson’s contemporary, adult HELL’S RENEGADES erotic, MC romance series focusing on the members of the motorcycle club Hell’s Renegades-a spin off from the author’s HERS series. This is Ian “Ryker” Rutledge, and Lyric’s story line which began in the aforementioned series. RYKER can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the previous series as there is quite a bit of history and a number of previous events that are referenced throughout.
WARNING: RYKER contains graphic MMF and MF sexual situations, strong language and text; violence; as well as questionable fidelity and cheating.
Told from dual first person points of view (Lyric and Ryker) RYKER follows the building relationship between Ryker and Lyric. Lyric is in a committed relationship with a man she does not love but that doesn’t stop her attraction to, and need for the man that has starred in her fantasies for close to a year. Enter Ian ‘Ryker’ Rutledge, Hell’s Renegades member, and the man with whom Lyric will fall in love. What ensues is the tempestuous relationship between Ryker and Lyric, and the potential fall out as the Hell’s Renegades MC heads to war with a rival gang.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including many from the HERS series regulars. The reader is reintroduced to Lyric’s half-sister Seven James-a former dominatrix, whose own lifestyle is measured by power and control.
RYKER is a gritty, no-nonsense look at the MC lifestyle. Dawn Robertson does not sugar-coat the behavior and habits of the men and women associated with the fictionalized motorcycle club convention and decorum- a brash, blatant and raw group of riders who take more than they give. The character driven premise is edgy and erotic; the romance is destructive and intense; the characters are challenging and passionate. I will add I am not a fan of the cover representation-the model looks like a skater-boy rather than a hardened member of a motorcycle gang.

Three times best selling author Dawn Robertson was born and raised in Connecticut before relocating to Florida in 2013. The same year first novel, Hers debuted as an Amazon Best Seller. Replicating that success with two additional novels in the following years.
The Indie publishing world has grown to love her raw writing style depicting strong
women in real life situations, topping the charts in erotica, romance, and romance-suspense. Robertson has even insinuated that the female characters in her book mirror her real life. But, that I’ll leave to speculation.
When Dawn Robertson is not writing she is a full-time Real Estate professional in Florida, and mother of three amazing children.
