REVIEW: SCARRED HEIR is the fourth instalment in Ella Jade’s contemporary, adult SCARRED HEIR erotic, Mafia romance, and the first in Milo Accetti and Sable Flynn’s trilogy. SCARRED HEIR can be read a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous trilogy is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Milo and Sable) SCARRED HEIR focuses on payment for a debt. Sable Flynn’s brother Chance is about to pull his sister into a scam wherein our heroine becomes collateral damage. In an effort to protect Chance, Sable vehemently defends her brother, but finds herself a virtual prisoner of Mafia businessman Milo Accetti, a man who struggles to trust our story line heroine. As the days pass, Milo and his right hand man Lucas, begin to uncover a connection to the past, as our heroine refuses to accept her brother’s possible betrayal.

The world building follows Milo Accetti as he searches for the truth. Falling for Sable means the possibility that all is not as it appears to be, but a perceived betrayal will push our couple further apart, threatening any chance of a happily ever after.

The relationship between Sable and Milo begins acrimoniously as Sable becomes payment for her brother’s debt. As Milo begins to take control, our heroine is pulled into a world she knows nothing about, a world in which Sable is naive and often TSTL. Having lost her heart to our story line hero, Sable will be forced to choose, a choice that is seen as a betrayal to everyone involved. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

The secondary and supporting characters are determined and desperate. We are introduced to Sable’s brother Chase Flynn, Milo’s men Lucas and Ricardo , as well as the return of Milo’s brother Marchello Accetti, and his wife Lissia Gallanti; Romeo Bello, and Diego Medina.

SCARRED HEIR is a character driven story of power and control, secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, family and friendships, heart break and mistrust. The premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are charismatic and dynamic. SCARRED HEIR ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
