REVIEW: SEDUCED BY THE PARK AVENUE BILLIONAIRE box set is a compilation of three novellas: Strangers on a Train: Derailed: and Final Destination written in the contemporary erotica genre.

The premise follows Sarah Greene who, while on a train heading for home, loses her virginity (and her heart) to a stranger- billionaire Ari Golden-in one of the tiny bathroom stalls on a train. Okay, following me?

Now here is where we begin to question-everything.

1. Why is a billionaire riding on a train when he has limos and cars at his disposal?
2. Why did 25 year old Sarah (without so much as questioning her own sanity) allow a stranger to seduce her and take her virginity inside the washroom stall of a moving train?
3. NO condoms-ever. A complete stranger screws her in a bathroom stall, without condoms, and with every encounter thereafter, still no condoms?

The reader is pulled into the story as Sarah slowly loses her heart and her soul to the stranger who proclaims that there will never be anything more between them than sex . Yet, at every opportunity, Ari Golden continues to seduce, entice and invite Sarah to important functions, gatherings and family celebrations. Is she his plus-one or is she something more?

There is a secondary storyline running parallel to the seduction and sex between Ari and Sarah. Sarah is a toy designer whose boss is the epitome of evil and the ultimate b*tch. When Sarah’s star begins to shine, her boss will ensure that the success is diverted and Sarah will become the target of jealousy and revenge.

The relationship between Ari and Sarah is highly sexual, graphic and at times heartbreaking. Ari refuses to acknowledge anything more than sex and companionship while Sarah begins to lose her heart to the stranger whose life begins to intertwine with her own. Ari will become the ultimate hero and warrior when Sarah falls victim to a jealous and psychotic ex.

Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire is a fast paced story where the world building is limited due to the length of each novella. Although we do not learn too much information about Ari Golden’s rise to billionaire status, there is plenty of background information about his personal and private life, as well as Sarah’s issues with her mother and boss from hell. For a three part novella series, there is a definite spark and an interesting story. If you are a fan of FSOG, Crossfire and the Stark trilogy, Seduced by the Park Avenue Billionaire should be another one to add to your TBR pile.
