ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date September 4, 2025
He looks like a prince, but he plays like the devil.
Villain isn’t just my road name. It’s a warning. Blond, charming, but lethal when I need to be, I’m the Sergeant-at-Arms for the Royal Bastards MC in Nashville. At least I was.
Now I’m working double time to make sure the club’s patch-over goes down smooth as we become the Bastard Sons MC. With Kingpin on my ass and a secret that could destroy everything I’ve built, I have no time for games. Rachel’s been my girl for a while. My version of serious in my not-so-exclusive world. She knew what she signed up for. An open relationship. No strings. No promises.
But then Ember waltzes in, red lips and revenge on her mind. She wants to use me to get under another brother’s skin. And I let her. At first, it’s a joke. A distraction. Until I start craving her. Now Rachel’s walking away, Ember’s demanding answers, and the life I’ve built is hanging by a thread.
I don’t want to choose.
Maybe I don’t have to.
Rachel
Loving a biker like Villain means knowing he’ll never be tamed. I told myself I could handle the chaos, the danger, the “open” part of our deal. But I was the only one he came home to. Until Ember. I didn’t walk. I ran. And now I’ve got something that might drag him back to me… or destroy us both. I’m pregnant with his baby, and I can’t stop wondering if that changes anything or if I’ve already lost him.
Ember
This was supposed to be simple. Villain was just a means to an end. I’ve got Rome. My first, my fallback, maybe my forever. But now I’m carrying someone’s baby. And Villain? He got under my skin and behind my walls. Now I’m caught in a war between two men, two futures, and the kind of decision that could tear the club apart.
Villain doesn’t want to choose.
But these women are done playing nice.

REVIEW: SLAYIN VILLAIN is the eleventh instalment in Morgan Jane Mitchell’s RBMC: Nashville, and the first in the author’s BASTARDS MC erotic, MC romance series, a part of the multi-authored RBMC series. This is Sergeant at Arms Villain, registered nursery Rachel, and singer Ember’s story line. SLAYIN VILLAIN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
2nd NOTE: Morgan Jane Mitchell has moved and renamed her Nashville TN series the Bastard Sons MC, and all of the author’s previous instalments will eventually be moved to the new series.
Told from several first person perspectives including Villain, Rachel and Ember, SLAYIN VILLAIN follows in the chaos that is Villain’s life. Villain is struggling with his place in the MC, and ultimately for a direction in his personal life but when Rachel, his long time ‘girlfriend’ asks for something more than their open relationship , Villain battles between head and heart until what he thought was a better offer, started a spiral from which he may not return. Ember was desperate to make her man Rome jealous, and offered Villain a friends with benefits in return but things were about to get very messy, and Villain was forced to choose or walk from the club that was his life.
The world building is chaos and pandemonium for Villain, Rachel and Ember. A messy triangle of turmoil and secrets, betrayal and madness, and for one man who struggles to choose, to accept the inevitable, or make good on the vows he swore to the club.
The relationship between Villain and the two women in his life is messy and rapidly unravelling . This is not a polyamorous relationship, but a tumultuous triangle of discord and heartbreak, a reminder of loss and the inability to choose.
There is a large ensemble cast of energetic and familiar secondary and supporting characters most of whom we met in the previous instalments including club president Kingpin, and his Ol’ Lady Eve.
SLAYIN VILLAIN is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, jealousy and manipulation, family and friendships, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is heart breaking, dramatic and anxiety-ridden; the romance is limited but messy ; the characters are desperate, broken and somewhat unlikeable. All choices have consequences, and Villain’s inability to choose is a consequence in itself.
