🎄He’s married. I’m taken. Now I’m the pregnant one!

🎄Carol
We should’ve been nothing but a Christmas mistake.
Christmas is my season. I sling drinks at in a year-round Christmas Town, Evervale’s snow-globe bar, hum along to carols, and secretly pray my straight-laced boyfriend will finally propose under the mistletoe. Instead, he picks a fight on Christmas Eve. So I work the holiday shift, pouring shots for strangers… until one of them isn’t a stranger. He’s a storm. Thirty-five, broad-shouldered, and mean enough to make my knees weak. They call him Humbug. He hates Christmas, but when masked men try to rob me, he’s the one who saves me. One look. One touch. One night. And suddenly, I want everything I’ve never let myself want. Rough, raw, wrong. Him.

🎄Humbug
I didn’t walk into that bar looking for a damn thing but whiskey.
My wife hates me, my brothers in the Evervale Executioners MC are sick of my bad mood, and Christmas turns my stomach. Then I see her. Carol. Sweet, twenty-two, all sugar and shine, smiling at me like I’m worth saving. I tell myself to walk away, but when danger comes for her, I can’t. I’ll bleed before I let anyone hurt her. Taking her back to the clubhouse should’ve been a mistake. One night of fire, her soft body under mine, her breathless moans in my ear. Now I can’t get her out of my head.

🎄She thinks it was just Christmas Eve. She thinks she’s going back to her good-boy boyfriend. But she’s wrong. Because Carol didn’t just get sleighed by the motorcycle man who hates Christmas. She sleighed me. And now she’s mine.

REVIEW: SLEIGHING THE MOTORCYCLE MAN by Morgan Jane Mitchell is a stand alone, contemporary, MC romance story line found in the multi-authored 25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS BIKERS AND MOBSTERS anthology. This is Everdale Executioners MC club enforcer Jack ‘Humbug’ Winter, and bartender Carol’s story line. SLEIGHING THE MOTORCYCLE MAN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Carol and Humbug) SLEIGHING THE MOTORCYCLE MAN follows the building but forbidden romance between our story line couple. A bar, a stranger, a robbery, and a hero all combine for secrets and lies. Robbed at gunpoint, Carol finds herself a hero in the guise of club enforcer Jack ‘Humbug’ Winter but all is not as it appears to be.Humbug is married, on the brink of a divorce: Carol is in a committed relationship or so she thought but her attraction to Humbug is about to set the town on fire, threatening not only her career but Humbug’s life with the Everdale Executioners MC.

The world building focuses on the forbidden relationship but more so on the fall-out for everyone in our couple’s orbit. Friends become enemies, family pulls back, relationships are destroyed by one couple’s growing love and need for one another. The MC has been targeted by local law enforcement, and vengeance will come at a cost.

The relationship between Carol and Humbug is one of the forbidden. A mutual attraction but neither one is available to begin anew, and in this, the fallout is about to affect everyone involved. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and holiday-theme named secondary and supporting characters. WE are introduced to several members of the Everdale Executioners MC: Prez, Lil’Nick Luke ‘Frost’ Winter, Blizzard; Humbug’s wife Trina; Carol’s boyfriend Blake, and Carol’s best friend Holly Sugar.

SLEIGHING THE MOTORCYCLE MAN is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, family and relationships, forgiveness and love. The fast paced, character driven premise is dramatic and engaging; the romance is seductive; the characters energetic and determined.
