REVIEW: ABE is the second instalment in the contemporary, adult, SAVAGE KINGS erotic, MC, romance series co-authored by husband and wife team Lane Hart and DB West. This is Abram ‘Abe’ Cross, and reality star Mercy Daniels’ story line. ABE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Mercy is best friends with reporter Sasha Sheridan (Chase #1).

Told from dual first person perspectives (Abe and Mercy) ABE follows the building relationship between Savage Kings member Abram ‘Abe’ Cross, and reality star Mercy Daniels. One year earlier Mercy Daniels was humiliated on live TV and in the ensuing time Mercy struggles to move on from the past. With paparazzi and a stalker following Mercy’s every move, Abe assigns himself as bodyguard and protector to the woman that calls to his heart, as Mercy embarks on another reality show in the hopes of finding her one true love. What ensues is the building romance and love between Mercy and Abe, and the potential fall-out as Abe struggles with everything the television show has to offer.

Abe Cross’ early years were fraught with hunger and neglect as he struggled to feed his mother and younger brother Gabe. A life of crime finally caught up with our story line hero but a life that has flourished with the Savage Kings MC. The public is unable to forget the public humiliation of Mercy Daniels when a ‘bachelor-esque’ television series found Mercy on the receiving end of ridicule and scorn. Having met biker Abe Cross just days before shooting her new reality series, Mercy struggles between head and heart knowing that her time on the show is tantamount to fraud.

The relationship between Mercy and Abe is one of immediate attraction but Abe doesn’t feel worthy of Mercy’s love. With a stalker bearing down on our story line heroine Abe refuses to walk away until the reality show ends. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense; the palpable sexual energy is steamy and hot.
