REVIEW: ANYWHERE WITH YOU by Erika Kelly is a contemporary, adult, stand alone erotic, romance story line set in the author’s Calamity Falls world with characters introduced in KISS ME SLOWLY, a serial first released in newsletter format. This is temp/event planner Della Swanson, and musician/writer Van Claybourne. ANYWHERE WITH YOU can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from third person perspective ANYWHERE WITH YOU follows Della Swanson as she finds herself as the temporary PA for rock star Van Claybourne, her childhood idol but all is not as it appears to be. Three days together finds our couple revealing the truths about their past, pasts that are about to collide pushing Della out of Van Claybourne’s life, a life shrouded in secrets and lies. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Della and Van Claybourne, and the potential fall-out as Della sees more than anyone could have ever imagined.

The relationship between Della and Van Claybourne is predicated upon a lie, of sorts. Van Claybourne is not who or what they present themselves to be, and Della is caught up in the middle of a potential storm of betrayal and trust. Della is quick to offer her assistance and help, help that is long overdue for a musician who is unable to find his own path, going forward. The $ex scenes are intimate and erotic without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There are limited secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to the members of, and support staff for Van Claybourne; Della’s father, as well as the return of Micky and Rhys Wolf (Kiss Me Slowly).

ANYWHERE WITH YOU is a story of secrets,lies, revelations and understanding. The premise is emotional and engaging;the romance is seductive and captivating;the characters are struggling, energetic and charismatic.
