Review:

Evalle and Storm by Dianna Love is book 10.5 of her wonderful Belador series.  I love this series, and can’t wait to dig in and enjoy each and every book of this series. In Evalle and Storm, Dianna gives us another exciting and tense story, even though it is a short story (a bit more than a novella). I love Evalle, who is one of my favorite kick ass heroines.

When the last book left off in Treoir Dragon Hoard, the gang saved Evalle, but the cost for her was mind boggling; she could no longer shift to her Gryphon.   Evalle and Storm is a story we have been waiting for a long time; a tense but romantic story of our favorite couple.   Storm can see how Evalle is not handling her loss of her Gryphon, and sees she is slowly losing her other powers.  He tries to convince Evalle to bond with him and he can help her bring back her powers; but Evalle is afraid that if she bonds to Storm, she may infect him with whatever is still growing inside her.

When Storm is called by an uncle to help a serious deathly situation in Arizona, he and Evalle fly to investigate.  As Evalle keeps weakening, Storm is concerned and despite his working to solve a dark majak murder, he is hoping a seer or their medicine man might be able to help her.

What follows is an exciting adventure that will put both Evalle and Storm’s life in danger.  But most of all, it is a beautiful romance between two people we have rooted a long time for.  We know Storm will do anything to save Evalle; but will Evalle be able to rise up and save herself?  Another wonderful part of this story, was a sweet chapter early on revolving around Feenix, our wonderful adorable cute Gargoyle pet of Evalle’s.  In my last review, I asked Dianna to give us more of Feenix, and I was so pleased to see this happen.  More more Feenix..  ?

Evalle and Storm was an exciting and romantic story line, with a frantic climatic finish.  Dianna Love always gives us great stories, and wonderful characters.  I loved how she devoted this book to Evalle and Storm.  Very well done.

If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, exciting adventures and romance, with fantastic characters you should be reading this series, as Dianna is one of the best.  You need to start with the first book, in order to know Evalle (one of the best kick-ass heroines) and meet all the Beladors.  If you have not read Dianna Love, what are you waiting for?

Review:

Treoir Dragon Hoard by Dianna Love is the 10th book in her fantastic Belador series.  As I have said before, Dianna Love is one of my favorite authors, and this series is one of my top favorites.  Once again, she gives us an exciting tense on the edge story that keeps us glued to our seat from start to finish.

Daegan, the dragon leader of the Beladors and Treoir, continues to make his team top priority, and has no qualms about putting his own life in danger.  Treoir Dragon Hoard starts with Evalle (our wonderful series heroine) going on a mission with Adrianna, which ends up as a trap, with her being kidnapped.  Storm, her lover, cannot sense Evalle, since his connection to her was ripped out of her chest during the kidnapping. Where is Evalle, and why did they kidnap her?

The story centers on Daegan, Storm, Quinn, Adrianna, Tristan, Reese and the rest of the team desperately trying to find Evalle.  The other POV is with Evalle, as she is now in another realm where no one can find her. The enemy is in control in this realm, leaving Evalle in bad shape unable to shift to her gryphon self to heal.  She is forced to do the enemy’s bidding to fight off monsters; which is expected from her to be able to fight Daegan, or her friends and family will all die.  What is Evalle going to do?

Storm is desperately trying find his mate, and also try to keep his calm, as all the Beladors and Alterants are working  together to help find her.  The story does not let up, as we are on the edge of our seat throughout the whole book.  I will not tell too much more, since I do not want to give spoilers.  What follows is an exciting pulse pounding adventure, with all of our favorites playing major parts. We also get to see some of our recurring villains such as Macha, Maeve, Cathbad, as well as the new villains, who are just as evil.  I have to say that I was thrilled to get to see a bit more of my favorite gargoyle, Feenix.  ( I love my sweet Feenix).

Treoir Dragon Hoard was an exciting, wild fantastic race to the climax, holding our breaths to see how it would end.   Dianna Love always gives us great characters, even the bad ones.  I love how she makes wonderful heroines, who continue to play major parts of the stories; Evalle, Adrianna, Reese and Brina.

If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense and romance, with fantastic characters you should be reading this series, as Dianna is one of the best.  You need to start with the first book, in order to know Evalle (one of the best kick-ass heroines) and all the Beladors.  If you have not read Dianna Love, what are you waiting for?

Belador Cosaint
Belador series – Book #9
by Dianna Love
Release Date: Sseptember5 28, 2017

Belador CosaintAmazon / B&N / Kobo

Description:
Belador Maistir Vladimir Quinn and his team are hunting preternatural predators targeting innocent humans in Atlanta. A powerful entity behind the brutal attacks is determined to force their dragon king out into the open by threatening Belador families and exposing the preternatural world to humans. When Quinn’s daughter is kidnapped, he has no idea where to look. He could use the help of fiery Reese O’ Rinn and her remote viewing ability, but he has even less chance of locating Reese, who vanished into thin air the last time they met. When the VIPER coalition refuses to aid the Beladors, their dragon king invokes the ancient rule of cosaint to protect his people, but will that backfire on Quinn, the dragon and the Beladors?

Review:

Belador Cosaint by Dianna Love is the 9th book in her fantastic Belador series.  I am always amazed how Dianna Love always gives us another sensational story that flawlessly continues the flow of this series. She is one of my favorite authors, who I know that I will enjoy and love every moment of her books.

Vladimir Quinn has been one of our heroes from the start of this series, always being there for our fantastic heroine, Evalle.  In Belador Cosaint, the story revolves around Quinn, who is searching for the daughter he never knew.  In the last book, the Beladors moved out of Viper control with Daegan, the  Dragon King, and he made Quinn the Belador Maister, helping to lead the Beladors against the Tribunal, and the evil  Queen Maeve.

Before Quinn can devote his time to find his daughter, he must work with Daegan, Evalle, Storm and the rest of the Beladors to fight and rescue the Belador children being kidnapped. On top of that, the crazed evil witch, Veronika has escaped and everything points to Maeve being behind this.   But Daegan is a good King, and he frees Quinn to continue his search, as his daughter can be very important having the blood of a Belador and MedB.   Reese, will return to play a major part in this book, as she protects Phoedra; who was with her when she was kidnapped.  Reese has powerful abilities due to having some Demon blood, and she makes a wonderful fantastic heroine.  We already know the last time they met, that Reese and Quinn are strongly attracted to each other.  Having disappeared on Quinn the last time, he is reluctant to trust her, but he needs Reese’s ability to be able to remote view, in helping to find Phoedra.

I am not going to tell too much more, since I do not want to give spoilers.  What follows is an exciting pulse pounding adventure, with Quinn and Reese putting their lives in danger constantly.  Queen Maeve and the witch Veronika are evils that must be reckoned with, and it will take all the Beladors; Evalle, Storm, Quinn, Daegan with Adrianna and Reese to fight to try and save them all, including Quinn’s daughter.  The last third of the book was a wild sensational slam bang race to the finish.

There were some surprises that left things open.  But I do have to say I did miss Evalle (and Feenix), who played a part but not big.  Reese has turned out to be a great tenacious and powerful addition, and I am hoping for her to become part of the Belador team and Quinn in future books. Besides the wonderful male heroes, Dianna Love has also given us some fantastic heroines in Evalle, Adrianna and now Reese.  If you love paranormal, urban fantasy, suspense and romance, with fantastic characters you should be reading this series.  Please start with the first book, in order to know Evalle (one of the best kick-ass heroines) and all the Beladors.  If you have not read Dianna Love, what are you waiting for?

Review:

Dragon King of Treior by Dianna Love is the 8th book of her wonderful Belador series.  Once again, Dianna Love gives us another fantastic story that keeps us glued to our seat, unable to put the book down.  We knew after reading Rogue Belador that things were about to change, and in Dragon King of Treior there were so many major changes that left us wondering what Love has in store for us in the next book.

Dragon King of Treior is another exciting, tense, action packed, fun story that gives us the chance to spend time with our favorite characters, not to mention a wonderful new character that we look forward to see more of.  Daegan, the new King of Treior, moves to the forefront as the leader of the Beladors, and he is a welcome change from the hated goddess Macha.  Tristan and Quinn play a bigger part in this story, with help from Evalle, Storm, Adrianna, Tzader, Brina and Isak.  Reese, is the new character that we meet early on, and you couldn’t help but like her from the start.  I know she will play a big part in the next book, since we can see the attraction develop between her and Quinn.

Daegan will do whatever he needs to do to protect his people, and they will be there right beside him as he will stand up to the tribunal and the evil goddess, Maeve.  Daegan will need his powerful team, as both Maeve and Macha will not be far behind in the coming books.

The focus of the story is Quinn’s attempt to find Kizera’s body, before the tribunal and especially Maeve find it.  Daegan and Quinn know that Maeve will take Kizera’s memories and they cannot allow her to get her hands on the body.  What follows is an exciting adventure, with the entire team working hard to stop the various demons who are also searching for the body of the MedB priestess.  We know that Quinn loved Kizera, but hopefully he is beginning to move on…..to Reese?

I also got a kick out of the short visit with Feenix……whom I adore. … please Dianna…more more Feenix.  😉    Evalle is one of my favorite kick-ass heroines, and I hope she continues to be a major part of the future stories, especially with all the changes happening. To tell too much more would be spoilers, and you need to read this series to appreciate the evolution of the Beladors, Evalle and team.

I am a huge fan of Dianna Love, as she never fails to deliver a fantastic, exciting, edge of your seat suspenseful story that flows so well from one book to the next.   All her characters are so good, each and every one of them.  I can’t say enough of how much I love Dianna Love, and if you have not read her books or this fantastic series, you are missing a gem.  You need to start the Belador series from the start.

Review:

Rogue Belador by Dianna Love is the 7th book in her wonderful Belador series.  As you all know, I am a huge fan of this series; it’s fantastic heroine, Evalle; and of course, the author herself, Dianna Love. I know that when I am going read a book by Dianna Love, it will be exciting, suspenseful, exhilarating, fun, humorous and a great romance.  In Rogue Belador,  Ms. Love ( I had to say that, since I do love her books 🙂 ), does it again with a fantastic adventure, that has major surprises that will change everything as we know it.

Tzader, is still trying to find a way to save his love, Brina from losing all her memories, and to stop Macha  from pulling her totally away from him.  When the worst happens, Tzader meets someone new, who seems to have a lot of knowledge of Brina’s situation, as well as on both goddesses, Macha and Maeve.  I have said this before, I do not like Macha, who rules the Beladors, but always seems to never truly defend her warriors, causing more hardship.  As for Maeve, she is the goddess of Medb, who have been our villains from the beginning.  Tzader is faced with the dilemma of trusting this new source, who may be able to help him, but to do so will put his life in danger.  He goes to those who he trusts ….Evalle and Quinn.

Evalle,  is determined to help Tzader, even if it means bringing the wrath of Macha on all of them.  Together, Evalle,  Storm, Tristan, Adrianna & Quinn will help Tzader to plan a mission that looks like an impossible and suicidal task.   Will they survive?  Will Maeve destroy their plans? Will Lanna survive an attempt by an old enemy?

To say too much more would be spoilers.  There is so much that happens, and too much to reveal.  You need to read this book to discover all the answers.   The last half of the book was an edge of your seat thriller that was a sensational, exciting, tense,  mind boggling adventure that had you unable to put the book down.

I loved spending some quality time with my Feenix ( I still want more), and Lanna was great too.  I even got a kick out of Oksar, the new witch familiar.  I totally loved the team working with Evalle as they were so much fun together. I love Storm and Evalle together.  The race to the finish was unbelievable as we learn about all the major twists to this wonderful series.  I cannot wait to see what Dianna Love wil do with this in future books.

As always, Dianna Love delivers another sensational story that will blow your mind.  No one does romance suspense, with great characters, wonderful romance and just plain fun to read then Dianna. Bravo Dianna Love, for you have done it again.  If you have not read this series, it is not to be missed; you need to start it now.

Tristan’s Escape by Dianna Love – a Review

Tristan’s Escape by Dianna Love – a Review

Tristan's Escape

Amazon / Barnes & Noble / Kobo

Description:
Tristan doesn’t give a rat’s ass about holidays.  He was a fool just once over a woman, and that little moment of insanity got him imprisoned for four long years, so he’s never had someone special to share the season with and doubts he ever will. But December does matter to the other half-blood Beladors, known as Alterants, stuck alongside him on Treoir Island, which is why Tristan has been secretly teleporting them to Atlanta for short visits.  Sure, their goddess warned him not to teleport in and out of Treoir’s hidden realm without permission, but the goddess means about as little to Tristan as holidays. Screw her.  His secret trips are going great until Elaine “Mac” Mackenzie, the five-foot-six, red-haired genius Tristan never wanted to see again, steps between him and a powerful sorcerer with a deadly agenda.  If Tristan exposes his preternatural abilities, he’ll forfeit his freedom forever this time. And if he doesn’t, he’ll have to watch the one woman he’s never forgotten suffer at the hands of a powerful being.

Saving her may destroy his world, but losing her will annihilate his heart.

Review:

Tristan’s Escape by Dianna Love is a novella that is part of her fantastic Belador series.   I love this series, and I love it’s heroine, Evalle. Tristan’s Escape revolves around Tristan, who is an Alterant like Evalle. If you have read this series, we know Tristan very well, as he has been a big part of this series. He is probably the second most powerful being, next to Evalle. When we last left off, all the Alterants are confined to Treoir Island, under the control of Goddess Macha. Unbeknownst, to the goddess and anyone else in Treoir, Tristan has the secret ability of transporting, and secretly helps his fellow Alterants with short trips to Atlanta to have some fun. They take turns, as Tristan can only do a little at a time.   Now Macha has called a meeting in a few days, and Tristan is desperate to get his sister back to Treior Island or face the wrath of their goddess, who is not very accommodating.   Evalle, is also returning for the meeting, as she works in Atlanta with the Beladors. Tristan does not want Evalle to know about his teleporting.

This is just the beginning. This being a novella, it is hard to do a review without revealing any spoilers. I will say that what follows is an exciting fast fun read that will have Tristan caught in a web trying to help his sister; putting him in against a sorcerer; and coming face to face with the women he lost years ago. I loved Tristan and Mac together, and can’t wait for more on them, as this is left somewhat open.   The story, which I devoured and finished in one sitting, was lot of fun and exciting. I am always amazed how Dianna Love continues to give us wonderful tense action packed stories. In Tristan’s Escape, Dianna outdoes herself by giving us such a great story in a short format. I really enjoyed this book, though I did miss my Evalle and Feenix. 🙂   If you have not read this series, you are missing a gem.

First Evalle has to locate Storm, the Skinwalker she’s bonded with who she believes can find the Belador queen, but Storm stalks the witch doctor threatening Evalle’s life. The hunter becomes the hunted, and Evalle must face her greatest nightmare to save Storm and the Beladors-or watch the future of mankind fall to deadly preternatural predators.

Review:

Demon Storm by Dianna Love is the 5th book in her Belador series. I have said this numerous times that I love this series, and the wonderful characters, especially our heroine, Evalle. In Demon Storm, Dianna assumes full control of writing this series, and I am thrilled to say…this is as good and exciting as the first 4 books. As I have noted before, Evalle is one of the best kickass heroines, and her romance with Storm, just keeps getting better and better.

But in Demon Storm, Evalle and Storm are not together until more than half way through the book. When Rise of the Gryphon ended, Storm went searching for the witch, who was threatening Evalle’s life, and he gets himself trapped in something beyond his control.

Back in Treior, Evalle having just helped win the latest battle, was trying to help find Brina and Lanna. The goddess Macha is still the same pain, but she needs Evalle to find Brina, as the Beladors are slowly losing their power without her. Tzader remains behind to keep an eye on Brina’s hologram that is slowly disintegrating. It is up to Evalle to find Storm, who is their best tracker to help find Brina, before it’s too late.

Without giving spoilers, what follows is a wonderfully exciting adventure that will require Evalle to use all her powers, and contacts, even those she doesn’t trust, to find and rescue Storm. Evalle will put her life on the line, as she enters the Demon world. Can she survive? Will she be able to save Storm, and if she does, at what cost?

In between her search for Storm, we get a glimpse of Brina, and what is happening to her. Tzader and his torment at possibly losing his love, Brina. Medb are still the villains, with a new, but old powerful leadership. But the focus of this story is between Evalle and Storm. There were so many moments that seemed hopeless, that they would be doomed, not to mention us fearing for Evalle’s life. Will Evalle’s love for Storm be enough to save him?

Feenix, our cute lovable gargoyle, is still one of my favorite characters, and I wish we could have more of him with Evalle. As I have also said before, Dianna always has wonderful characters in her stories. There are so many of them that we care about, and even the villains are worth hating. 🙂

This was such an exciting adventure, with non-stop tense action, filled with twists, betrayals, danger, and a beautiful sensual romance. As always with Dianna Love, I was on the edge of my seat, unable to pull myself away. I had to know what was happening next. I loved Demon Storm; love Evalle; love the romance between Evalle and Storm; and I absolutely love the Belador series. Demon Storm was a fantastic story, and this series just keeps on getting better. If you have not read this series, once again, what are you waiting for?

Review:

Rise of the Gryphon by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love is the 4th book in their Belador series.  If you have followed my reviews, you will know I love this series.  I love Evalle, who is one of my favorite kickass heroines.

Throughout this series, we have suffered with Evalle, as the Goddess Macha continues to push her to the brink, not to mention Sen, who is always looking to destroy her. Evalle has always been loyal to the Beladors;  constantly putting her life on the line, and yet she is not fully appreciated.  Because she is an Alterant, she is always threatened to lose her freedom with imprisonment.  WILL EVALLE EVER BE TOTALLY FREE??

If you do not know, or remember, an Alterant is half Belador and an unknown half, which allows them to shift into a huge fearful beast. VIPER forbids Evalle to ever shift, and if you read the previous book, you know what happened.  Since this is an early review, I will stay away from spoilers, but still try to give you an idea about this book.

In Rise of the Gryphon, Evalle is ordered by Macha to find Alterants and bring them to her before the Medb gets them, but she only has a few days.  Such love for someone who just saved them.  Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Storm, who I also have grown to love, is with Evalle, as they search for Tristan & the Alterants.  Storm makes himself perfectly clear to Evalle….he loves her.  He will do anything to protect and save Evalle.  Does he??   Only time will tell.

The evil Queen Flaevynn is still the major villain in this series, as she leads the Medb in a plot to destroy the Beladors.  Rivaling “Mommy Dearest”, Flaevynn treats her daughter Kizira worse then an enemy.  So much so, that you find yourself feeling sympathy for Kizira, who has been a thorn against the Beladors. But is Kizira truly bad, since she is being compelled by her mother to hurt the Beladors, or is she really in love with Quinn?

The focus of this story is can Evalle find Tristan and all the Alterants, before the Medb take them?  Evalle and Storm will travel to participate in the Achilles Beast Championship, which is a fight to the death; with the winners (all Alterants), then joining Medb, in an offer they cannot refuse.  It is up to Evalle to find a way to stop Medb, rescue the Alterants, and help save Brina and the Beladors.

Every book in this series is great, but Rise of the Gryphon is the best one so far.  This was such an exciting adventure, filled with tension, bloody fights, various beasts, betrayals, danger, and so many moments you feared for your heroine.  Without giving any spoilers, there was a wonderful part that we have been waiting for…..Awesome. There was also another part of the book that had me very sad, surprisingly so.  When you read this book, you will know what I am talking about.

So many questions were answered:  Why is Evalle so wanted by the Medb?  Does Kizira really care about Quinn?  What kind of powers does Lanna have? Will Storm and Evalle finally come together?  Will we ever stop loving Feenix, our cute lovable gargoyle…….nah forget that, never happen.  I want more Feenix.

But there are more questions still to come that we will have to wait until the next book.

Rise of the Gryphon was non stop action all the way.  The ending, another major battle, was totally awesome; you never knew what was coming next.  There were so many surprises and twists that I sat at the edge of my seat absorbing it all and then letting the shocks wear off. As I said earlier, so many questions were answered. and so many more new ones opened up.

I loved this book so much, that when the last page came, I kept looking for more, thinking there must be missing pages.  Sigh. Now I have to wait a year.  I will end by saying I love Evalle; love the Kenyon/Love duo; love love the Belador series.  Rise of the Gryphon is great. If you have not read this series, once again, what are you waiting for?
