Review:

Penthouse Prey by Emma Castle is a spicy novella that was extremely sexy.  Quinn Huxley went to Braxley Preparatory, an elite private high school, when she gets a partial scholarship. She meets Devlin Rayburn, who bullies her every chance he gets.  When his friends talk about Quinn, Devlin decides to pretend he will have sex with her; with his friends not knowing the truth & Quinn accepting his pretense.

Twelve years later, Devlin catches Quinn leaving her parents house one day, and he calls out to her to enter his limo; Quinn recognizes the voice. Devlin surprises her with a new proposition; a one night with him at his new club, Primal Club. He will pay to move her parents’ bakery to a different location in a newer part of town, if she will play his one night of sex.  Quinn accepts, as she knew she did have a crush on Devlin, all those years ago.

Quinn arrives on opening night, as she steps into this fantasy world, consumed with Devlin taking her behind the curtain to begin her fantasy, that becomes her own desire. Devlin and Quinn find themselves pleased deeply into their romantic fantasy. Quinn will realize that she has always had a crush on Devlin, and the evening was so much better than expected.  Devlin always hoped that Quinn would be happy with him, as the chemistry between them was off the charts. The romance between Devlin and Quinn will both find their love forever.

Penthouse Prey is a compelling, hot, and sexy story. Penthouse Prey was so very well written by Emma Castle.  If you like romance with a strong dose of power, play, tension, sex and a great couple.

Review:

The Davis Deal begins with Scarlett Davis attending the Dauphney Gala, the biggest night in New York fashion.  Scava Designs, created by Scarlett and her two sisters, was counting on this night to launch Scava into the stratosphere. Scarlett’s family is reality television royalty. Plagued by a few scandals, she and sisters have stepped away from The Hollywood Divas and refuse to let their mother pull them back in.

Scarlett was sure she would sign A list star, Cecilia Palmer. Standing in her way is Orelia Peters who this season’s IT girl. Once Scarlett mingles, it does not take long for her and Orelia to butt heads.  Cecilia loves Scarlett’s designs but due to Orelia’s rising influence, she is going to give Orelia a seat at the table as well. Scarlett reels at this development, which is sent into overdrive when Orelia keeps prodding Scarlett with harsh comments.  After all, Orelia has just married a man from an old and connected family in New York’s society circles.

Scarlett feels backed into a corner and reveals that she and Rafe Sanchez, retired world-renowned soccer superstar and handsome entrepreneur have just recently gotten engaged. The only problem is it is a lie.  She and Rafe have been best friends for years and there has been nothing romantic about their friendship. To say they are shocked at the news is an understatement.  Add to the equation that Rafe and his supermodel girlfriend just recently broke up and things get dicey.

Once Scarlett sees Rafe at the Gala, she asks to speak with him. Once she tells him what has happened, his immediate response is no.  But once he thinks about it and the “engagement” has a time limit, he acquiesces.  After all, Scarlett is his best friend, and she needs his help. What is the worst that could happen?  They love spending time together and know each other well. Rafe has one hard line: he will NEVER appear on The Hollywood Divas. Best laid plans and all of that…………………

The Davis Deal is a wonderfully written tale. Scarlett and Rafe’s chemistry is palpable to everyone but them in the beginning. Scarlett has always felt like the odd one out of the family and never felt she quite fit in. As she and Rafe navigate their growing feelings for each other and the quintessential mean girl that is Orelia Peters’ antics, they both know one thing: they will do whatever it takes to keep the other safe. However, no one expected a huge life-changing secret to be revealed by Scarlett’s mother which sends everything Scarlett and her sisters believed into a tailspin. Add to that a manipulative move made by said mother sends Rafe running. Nothing will ever be the same. The Davis Deal is ultimately a story of trust and redemption, love and forgiveness.  If you are a romance fan, you will never go wrong with one of Hayward’s books. I look forward to the next set in the Davis world. (Get a move on, Jennifer!)  I have said this before, several years ago, that if she wrote a phonebook, I had read it.  She is just that good. Well done, Jennifer Hayward!  Very, very, very well done!

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 15, 2018

I didn’t think much about the photo shoot. Big damn deal. So what, a few models come in, put on some skimpy outfits and plaster themselves over our bikes. If that’s what it takes to sell my motorcycles, I was happy to do it.

Since I’d taken over the company after my father’s death, I owed it to my old man to make sure Stroker Motorcycles continued to grow into a powerhouse. I’d even left the road and my biker lifestyle to honor my father’s last wishes.

Besides, it’s not like a pretty face is enough to turn my head. At least that’s what I thought.

When I saw Cat, everything changed. I’d spent years on the road on my bike. I’d had a lot of one-night stands. I thought I knew what it was to lust after a woman, but with that gray-eyed goddess, just seeing her made me addicted.

Cat was just supposed to be another model. Now I can’t go three seconds without thinking about her.

Oh, one big problem. The woman hates motorcycles. To her, the modeling gig’s just a way to save some money for her kid’s education.

Why do I want a woman who hates everything I am?

REVIEW: BILLIONAIRE BIKER is the twenty third instalment in Claire Adams’ contemporary, adult BILLIONAIRES stand-alone, erotic, romance series. This is thirty-five year old, billionaire businessman biker Drew Stroker, and twenty-seven year old, model/single mother Catherine ‘Cat’ Villiane’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Cat and Drew) BILLIONAIRE BIKER follows the forbidden relationship between thirty-five year old, billionaire businessman biker Drew Stroker, and twenty-seven year old, model/single mother Catherine ‘Cat’ Villiane. Drew’s sister and Director of Operations at Stroker Motorcycles, Daniella Stroker has a terrific idea for their new ad campaign but Drew never expected to meet his future in cover model and single mother Cat Villiane, a woman who calls to his very soul. Drew spent years on the road, riding all over North America, but the sudden death of his father and founder of the family owned billion dollar business found our hero working alongside his sister in an effort to push Stroker to the forefront of the motorcycle industry. Never having considered settling down, Drew is stunned when obstinate and seductive single mother Cat Villiane calls to his heart. What ensues is the building relationship between Cat and Drew, and the potential fall-out as Cat is unable to let go of the past, a past that destroyed her heart, and killed the man she once loved.

Cat Villiane is a single mother who models for a living but struggles in the face of adversity as she endeavors to pay the mounting bills quickly accruing following emergency surgery for her five year old son Jack. Hoping to alleviate some of Cat’s financial struggles, Drew offers up payment while Daniella offers Cat a permanent position at Stroker Motorcyles, a position that now threatens the building relationship between Cat and Drew.

The relationship between Cat and Drew is one of immediate attraction but Cat’s hatred of motorcycles threatens any type of peace and harmony between our leading couple. The continuous back and forth, yin and yang, yes, no, hate and love is an ongoing battle as Cat struggles with her attraction to a man who represents everything she hates about her former life. A double-standard will come into play as Cat battles her need for security, and everything she hates about motorcycles and more. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense.

We are introduced to Drew’s sister Daniella-a smart, sassy and business savvy woman whose is willing to sabotage her brother’s relationship for her own, and the company’s gain; Cat’s mother Helen, and Cat’s five year old son Jack Villiane.

The world building focuses on the Stroker Motorcycles ventures into the world of movie development, as well as the company’s upcoming ad campaign. The relationship between Drew and Cat struggles with the hardened beliefs and attitude of a woman who lost so much to an horrific accident that claimed the life of the man she once loved.

BILLIONAIRE BIKER is a well-written, fast-paced, energetic and sexy story line. The character driven premise is moving and emotional; the romance is captivating and provocative; the characters are spirited, charismatic and strong.
