Told from dual first person perspective (Noelle and Torque) TORQUE & TINSEL follows insta-lust to love between our story line couple. A meet-cute at the local mall finds Torque helping Noelle find a table, then searching for our heroine’s niece who decided to go see Santa on her own. An approaching storm, and the possibility of a power failure forces Torque to insist Noelle come back to the clubhouse but a stop at the club owned garage places Noelle in a precarious position, when lives are threatened in the name of revenge.

The world building is short and sweet, and covers but a couple of days in the life of our story line couple. A winter storm, a rescue, and a new family by blood and choice, celebrate the approach of the holidays at the Summit Hill Vipers MC club house.
The relationship between Noelle and Torque is an insta-lust to love. Torque knows immediately Noelle is the woman to tame his heart but threats against our heroine push Torque to take control, and in doing so, Noelle suspects he’s in for the long haul. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

We are introduced to several members of the Summit Hill Vipers MC, as well as Noelle’s sister Amy, and her daughter Ainsley.

TORQUE AND TINSEL is a fast paced, quick read; a story of family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is limited but seductive; the characters are determined and desperate.

REVIEW: COLD KING OF NEW YORK is the first instalment in Siobhan Davis’ contemporary, adult THE ACCARDI TWINS DUET erotic Mafia romance, and follows the building romance and relationship between twenty-seven year old Don Joshua Accardi, and twenty-two year old Gia Bianchi. Gia Bianchi has been training for years as an undercover agent for the elite group known as the Commission, the overseers for founding Mafia famiglia members but in the wake of a large shipment of stolen drugs and property from the Accardi Shipping lines, Gia Bianchi is tasked with going undercover in an effort to ferret out the person responsible. Don Joshua Accardi is a cold hearted and stubborn Don who is about to face off against the woman with whom he will fall in love but never expected to find himself guardian and protector of our story line heroine. Believing a member of the Irish mob is responsible, Gia is sent in to attract and seduce but not everything goes according to plan. Gia will be targeted; rats will be trapped, and the New York families will come face to face with a past they long thought dead and buried.

The world building follows the search for a betrayer, and a mole within the ranks of the ruling Mafia Famiglias; Gia’s seduction of a man know to be cruel and dominant; and the building relationship between Gia and Joshua.

The relationship between Gia and Joshua begins acrimoniously. Joshua doesn’t do relationships, having been betrayed in the past, and as such refuses to accept the existence of Gia beyond her current assignment but as Gia’s journey toward the darkside becomes more dangerous and dark, Joshua finds himself falling for a woman who is about to control his heart. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate and intense.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and energetic secondary and supporting characters including the three original couples first introduced in the Mazzone Mafia series. We are introduced to Gia’s best friend Elisa Salerno, as well as Joshua’s ex, and Caleb’s current affair Anais. Caleb and Elisa’s story line is next.

REVIEW: CRUEL KING OF NEW YORK (originally released in May 2024) is the second instalment in Siobhan Davis’ contemporary, adult ACCARDI TWINS dark, erotic, Mafia romance duet. This is twenty-seven year old, Don Caleb Accardi and Elisa Salerno’s story line. CRUEL KING OF NEW YORK can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Caleb and Elisa) CRUEL KING OF NEW YORK follows the building but acrimonious relationship between childhood friends Don Caleb Accardi and Elisa Salerno. Elisa Salerno is a college student who has been in love with her best friend Caleb Accardi all of her life but Caleb’s continuous manwhoring has gone too far, and Elisa is ready to move on with her life. Feeling unworthy, Elisa begins to spread her wings, dating one of the young men at school but Caleb sees red when the woman he has always loved moves on with someone else. Meanwhile, the Mafia Famiglia continues to take down the betrayers within their midst, only to discover a potential betrayal under their proverbial nose. The world building continues to focus on the search for the truth-a betrayer in their midst who is feeding information to their common enemy. As Caleb pleads for forgiveness from our story line heroine, Elisa will discover that darkness comes in all kinds of packages.

The relationship between Elisa and Caleb is a best friends to enemies to lovers in the face of personal betrayal and issues of trust. Caleb’s manwhoring has destroyed our story line heroine, and in this, Elisa is forced to walk away from the man whom she loves. The $ex scenes are seductive and impassioned.

Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and energetic secondary and supporting characters including the three original couples first introduced in the Mazzone Mafia series. We are re-introduced to Elisa’s best friend Gia Bianchi and Caleb’s twin brother Don Joshua Accardi, as well as Caleb’s ex Anais.

CRUEL KING OF NEW YORK is another story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is heart breaking and dramatic; the romance is fated ; the characters are broken, sassy and flawed.
