ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 18, 2019

Being an adult has its advantages…

Lucas Abbott and his identical twin grew up sharing everything—including a reputation for funny, idiotic behavior. But now that Lucas is ready to shed that lovable-idiot image, grow up and have a real, adult relationship, the joke’s on him. He and his twin have fallen for the same woman.

Crushed and hoping a few days on the slopes will work out his frustrations, he heads for Stowe, Vermont. All thought of fun and relaxation flies away as a car spins out in a snowstorm, and his firefighter/paramedic training kicks into high gear.

Danielle Rowson is hoping to pick up the pieces and build a new life for herself and her daughter in Vermont. Winding up in a ditch in the middle of a blizzard isn’t part of the plan—and neither is the kind, sexy rescuer whose strong hands pull them to safety.

Lucas has been a little kid, a big kid and now an adult—and he discovers that adulting has more than one advantage. Especially when it comes to sharing with Dani and Savannah the one thing that’s his and his alone: his love.

REVIEW: TILL THERE WAS YOU is the fourth instalment in Marie Force’s contemporary, adult BUTLER, VERMONT romance series focusing on the Abbott’s and their extended family of cousins, in-laws and friends. This is fire fighter/paramedic Lucas Abbott, and single mother/ retail manager Danielle ‘Dani’ Rowson’s story line. TILL THERE WAS YOU can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The BUTLER, VERMONT series is a spin-off from the author’s GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES but you do not need to have read the original series to understand or follow.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Dani and Lucas) TILL THERE WAS YOU follows single mother Dani Rowson as she ventures out on her own, only to drive into a blinding snowstorm where she will be rescued by our story line hero. With no place to go Lucas Abbott offers Dani and her infant daughter a place to stay, an offer that will turn into something more. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Dani and Lucas, and the potential fall-out as Dani struggles with her need to be independent.

Dani Rowson knows love and loss. Hoping to make a new start, our heroine heads to Butler, Vermont in the hopes of finding a job, and a new place to live. Unprepared for the Vermont weather, Dani finds herself in a desperate situation until a timely rescue by the man with whom she will fall in love. Lucas Abbott’s day wasn’t going so well. Angry with his twin Landon, Lucas heads to Stowe, Vermont for a little R&R where he will come face to face with his future in the guise of Dani Rowson.

The relationship between Dani and Lucas is one of immediate attraction and instant chemistry, but our heroine is desperate for a place to stay, and finds temporary accommodations with our story line hero. Believing he has found his happily ever after, Lucas struggles to keep his distance from the woman with whom he is falling in love. The limited $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

As per the series, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including the parents Lincoln and Molly Abbott, and grandfather Elmer; Lucas’ twin brother Landon, and several characters (Abbott family members) from the author’s Green Mountain series.

TILL THERE WAS YOU is a story of family, friendships, loss and love; a story of grief, starting over and second chances (of a sorts). The premise is engaging, real and entertaining: the characters are fun, energetic and familiar; the romance is seductive. TILL THERE WAS YOU is a heart warming, sweet and wonderful story with fantastic characters including a lonely moose called Fred.

REVIEW: HERE COMES THE SUN is the third instalment in Marie Force’s contemporary, adult BUTLER, VERMONT romance series -a spin-off from the author’s GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES but you do not need to have read the original series to understand or follow the new release. This is Wade Abbott and Mia Simpson’s story line. HERE COMES THE SUN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Wade Abbott is the sun of Lincoln and Molly Abbott-the parents of the large Abbott clan.

Told from several third person perspectives including Mia and Wade HERE COMES THE SUN focuses on the growing relationship between Mia Simpson and Wade Abbott. Two years earlier Wade Abbott met and fell in love with Mia Simpson but Mia was in a committed relationship and Wade walked away never able to forget about the woman that called to his heart. Fast forward to present day wherein a battered and abused Mia is found nearly frozen at his front door-looking for help from the man she met years before. What ensues is the quick building, rekindling relationship between Mia and Wade, and the potential fallout as Mia’s past continues to haunt her daily life.

Mia Simpson is on the run, hoping to stay one step ahead of her past. Remembering the man she has never forgotten, Mia heads to Butler Vermont where she will come face to face with her a future- a future that includes Wade and the entire Abbott clan. Wade Abbott knows that Mia is the woman that calls to his heart but too many unanswered questions continue to run interference as they struggle to meet the demands of the growing love. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Once again, there is a very large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including most if not all of the previous couples from the Green Mountain Series including Lincoln and Molly Abbot, and Wade’s grandfather Elmer. The back and forth banter between the siblings is sassy and fun.

HERE COMES THE SUN is a revealing story line with a twist that I didn’t see coming. The premise is entertaining and intriguing; the romance is passionate and compelling; the characters are plenty, colorful and dynamic. My only complaint is the quick resolution to the story line conflict-a conflict that followed Mia throughout the entire story.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 9, 2017

Mary Larkin was hard at work as the office manager at the Green Mountain Country Store when Cameron Murphy brought her dad, Patrick, in to visit. That fateful first meeting, which took place in You’ll Be Mine, sets the stage for Mary and Patrick’s long-awaited romance in Can’t Buy Me Love!

Mary enjoys her predictable, satisfying life in Butler. If it’s a little lacking in excitement, well, that’s okay with her. But after meeting Patrick and getting to know him better at his daughter’s wedding, Mary is intrigued by the well-known, sexy billionaire businessman.

Patrick is equally intrigued. For the first time since he suddenly lost his wife thirty years ago, he has met a woman who makes him feel less lonely, and all he wants is more of his Sweet Mary from Vermont. Flirty phone calls become a weekend away together that takes his relationship with Mary to the next level.

But with six hours and two vastly different lives standing between them, can Mary and Patrick find happily ever after together? And after telling her father to keep his hands and everything else off Mary, will Cameron approve of her father’s new romance?

•••••••••••

REVIEW:  CAN’T BUY ME LOVE is the second installment (and novella) in Marie Force’s contemporary, adult BULTER, VERMONT romance series. This is fifty-something billionaire businessman Patrick Murphy, and forty-something office manager Mary Larkin’s story line. The BUTLER, VERMONT series is a spin-off from the author’s GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES but you do not need to have read the original series to understand or follow the new release. Patrick Murphy is the father of Cameron Murphy ; Mary Larkin is the office manager for Lincoln Abbott-Patrick Murphy’s best friend. Patrick and Mary met at Cameron and Will’s wedding in the book You’ll Be Mine.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Patrick and Mary) CAN’T BUY ME LOVE follows Mary Larkin as she endeavors to get past her inhibitions and fears about dating a billionaire who lost his wife in childbirth years before. Patrick slowly begins a seduction of the woman that calls to his heart but knows he must take it slow lest he scares away his ‘Sweet Mary from Vermont’. What ensues is the building relationship between Mary and Patrick, and Mary’s struggle with the possibility of walking away from all that she loves.

The relationship between Patrick and Mary began with their introduction at Patrick’s daughter’s wedding in the book YOU’LL BE MINE. For weeks Patrick and Mary have been talking via phone calls but Patrick is determined to take Mary away for a weekend together, taking their relationship to the next level. The $ex scenes are intimate (some implied) without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several couples from the Green Mountain Series. The world building looks at love between a billionaire and the woman that calls to his heart-Mary struggles with her lowly position and boring lifestyle in the face of Patrick’s business and financial success.

CAN’T BUY ME LOVE is a sweet and enjoyable story line; a sexy novella about a lonely billionaire whose heart was shattered years before, and the woman that is quickly becoming everything and more. The premise is lighthearted and playful; the characters are passionate and mature- there are very little anxious or conflicting moments; the romance is intimate and intoxicating. CAN’T BUY ME LOVE looks at love between an ‘older couple’, a rarity in romance story lines, but a love that burns as hot as any love, at any age.
