ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date November 18, 2016

She wasn’t looking to fall in love with one man. Never mind two.

Juliet Reece grew up in the shadow of her seemingly perfect older sister, Margo Reece. While Juliet’s wealthy, blue-blood parents dealt with infidelity, Juliet fought for normalcy. Now she’s the bassist in Warning Sign, a band on the rise, and she finally feels like she’s making space for herself in the world. It’s her time to shine, and she’s ready to have fun and focus on her career.

Until Randy “Sparks” Pruitt nearly blows up her life. Literally.

She can’t stand the guy. She definitely hasn’t fantasized about gripping a handful of his hair and – no. Not happening.

Then there’s Tristan Eves, Sparks’ new friend. He’s the exact opposite of Sparks. Playful. Naughty. Arousing.

Suddenly, she’s on the verge of something wilder than she’s ever experienced before. Two seductive men, hers for the taking – if she can handle the heat.

If double trouble is dangerous, watch out for the power of three.

REVIEW: TRIPLE TROUBLE is the second full length installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult FOUND IN OBLIVION erotic, romance series. FOUND IN OBLIVION, focusing on the younger siblings of the original story line characters, is a spin off from Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. Several characters from LIO and the authors’ HAMMERED series cross over and make cameo appearances for familiarity and cohesion. This is bass guitarist for the upcoming rock band Warning Sign Juliet Reece, executive chef Tristan Eves, and tour lighting director Randy ‘Sparks’ Pruitt story line. You do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow the spin off but for backstory and enjoyment I recommend reading the authors’ LOST IN OBLIVION and HAMMERED series as well. Juliet is the sister of Margo Reece, and Rand is the brother of Harper Pruitt (Lost in Oblivion series)

NOTE:
TRIPLE TROUBLE contains graphic M/F/M sexual situation, language and text, and may not be suitable for all readers.

Told from three third person perspectives (Tristan, Rand and Juliet) TRIPLE TROUBLE follows the building relationship between chef Tristan Eves, lighting coordinator Rand Pruitt, and bass guitarist for Warning Sign Juliet Reece. For months Rand aka Sparks has lusted after Juliet Sparks but believes himself out of her league. As part of the road crew Rand works behind the scenes and quietly desires the woman of his dreams until an opportunity presents itself at the Halloween wedding of Owen Blackwell and Callie Templeton (Manipulated /Hammered #3). When his best friend and roommate chef Tristan Eves makes a play for Juliet Reece, Rand is shocked when Juliet extends the invitation for all three. What ensues is the growing love between three people whose lives are about to spiral out of control when jealousy and love enter into the equation.

TRIPLE TROUBLE is a story with numerous graphic, M/F/M sexual situations; a spicy ménage relationship with palpable sexual energy between three unique and exceptional individuals. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott create a world of passion, heartbreak and anguish wherein our leading trio find love in the unlikeliest of situations. The premise is intoxicating; the characters are intense; the romance is seductive and erotic.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 31, 2016

My name is Owen Blackwell, and I’m currently in recovery.
Not from what you think, though I do enjoy a bit of whiskey.

No, my issue is that I fell foolishly in love with my best friend. Oh, and she’s getting married.

So, in my eternal stupidity, I hooked up with a woman at our annual masquerade ball. You know what they say—the best way to get over a woman is to get under another.

Who is this woman, you ask? Calliope Templeton. She’s unlike any other I’ve ever met. And believe me, as the guitarist for Hammered—only the biggest selling rock band out there right now—I’ve met quite a few.

Now I have to figure out how to convince her we’re more than just a one-night stand. She’s supposed to be my happily ever after.

And if necessary, I’m willing to show her just how resourceful one determined Irishman can be.

•••••••••

REVIEW: MANIPULATED is the third full length installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult HAMMERED rock star romance series focusing on the members of the rock band of the same name. This is bass player Owen Blackwell, and photographer Calliope (Cali) Templeton’s story line. MANIPULATED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommended reading the series in order for cohesion and backstory. The Hammered series is a spin of from Quinn and Elliott’s Lost in Oblivion series. Some of the characters cross over including Lila and Nick Crandall, Donovan Lewis, and Gray and Jazz Duffy.

Told from dual first person points of view (Owen and Cali) MANIPULATED follows Cali Templeton as she is hired as the in-house photographer for the rock band Hammered. Hammered’s recording company wants to release a ten year anniversary coffee table book focusing on the band, and Cali’s photography work has caught the attention of the man in charge-Donovan Lewis. But Cali knows that to work with the band means coming face to face with her ‘almost’ one-night stand Owen Blackwell-the bass player for Hammered-and the man who has occupied her fantasies and thoughts since they first me four months earlier. What ensues is the building relationship between Owen and Cali- a friends with benefits/no strings attached agreement that turns into something more. Owen wants forever but Cali fears losing her job and her reputation by fooling around with a member of the band.

The attraction between Cali and Owen is immediate. Their first meeting with one another came four months earlier at a Halloween masquerade ball at the invitation of Cali’s sister and journalist Ava Templeton, and in the ensuing time Cali never forgot about the man with the Irish brogue and sexy a$$. As Cali continues to reject Owen’s advances, our hero makes Cali a deal for a no-strings attached relationship as Cali still has issues and struggles with her past. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive, although limited in number as the couple continues to find themselves interrupted on more than one occasion.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of the members of the band: piano player Faith Keystone and her soon to be husband and bodyguard Quinn Alexander; Reed (Bats) Mason; lead singer Hunter Jordan and his wife Kennedy McManus; drummer Zach Kane; and band manager Indie West.

The world building continues to focus on the band: on stage, behind the scenes, on the bus, in the hotels, and on the road between concerts and gigs. Because Cali is hired to photograph the band in action, the reader is front and center while the band plays on stage.

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot’s MANIPULATED is a heartwarming and energetic story line; a passionate look at two people struggling to find love on the road; an inspiring tale about success, friendship, and a happily ever after. There is very little conflict to the story line premise except what is brought into the relationship by our story line heroine, The premise is entertaining and fun; the characters are engaging and energetic; the romance is electric and hopeful.

REVIEW: BEDDED BLISS is the first installment in the contemporary, adult, erotic, romance rock series FOUND IN OBLIVION co-authored by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott. FOUND IN OBLIVION is a spin off from their LOST IN OBLIVION series and several characters from LIB and the authors’ HAMMERED series cross over and make cameo appearances for familiarity. This is lead guitarist for the upcoming rock band Warning Sign Michael Shawcross, and single mom/bartender Chloe Adams’s story line. Michael and Chloe were first introduced in Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. You do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow the spin off but for back story and enjoyment I recommend reading the authors LOST IN OBLIVION series as well.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Chloe and Michael) BEDDED BLISS focuses on the relationship between single mom Chloe Adams and guitarist Michael Shawcross. Following a drunken weekend in Vegas where Chloe and Michael wake up to find themselves married to one another with no recollection or memory of what has happened, our heroine runs home only to discover that her private life is now the stuff of tabloid fodder and paparazzi nightmares. What ensues are Michael’s attempts to persuade his new wife that remaining together will be better for everyone concerned, and Chloe’s struggle to regain control of her life.

Chloe is a single mother who was once engaged to Oblivion’s former drummer Snake (William)-a man whose demons destroyed his life when he died following a tempestuous relationship with his band and eventual drug over dose leaving a pregnant and struggling Chloe on her own. Nick Crandall, guitarist for Oblivion and one time best friend of Snake, took Chloe under his wing and offered up financial support for his best friend’s girl. Snake’s son Axl is close to two years old, and Chloe’s first girls weekend in Vegas ends in a marriage to a man she knows very little about.

Michael Shawcross is the step-son of Oblivion’s band manager Lila Shawcross, and a great guitarist in his own right. Now a member of the upcoming rock band Warning Sign, Michael has a colorful history with the ladies including a bad boy reputation and an ongoing affair with a senator’s fiancé. Waking up to a new wife, and a woman that calls to his heart, Michael is determined to make the best of the situation and offers up his home and his heart to Chloe and her son.

The attraction between Chloe and Michael is immediate but our couple has known of one another for a number of years through their mutual connection to the band Oblivion and Lila Shawcross. Michael is a man determined not to follow in his parent’s disastrous relationship history, and makes every effort to ensure that his marriage to Chloe is real and forever. Chloe’s life begins to implode when the paparazzi refuse to give her the benefit of the doubt, and the harassment destroys the life she began to build. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and erotic.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several members of the rock bands Oblivion and Hammered, as well as the introduction of Warning Sign’s other musicians. There is a personality struggle within the band, and when their drummer Ryan Waters sprains his hand in a biking accident, Michael calls in a favor from his brother Malachi-a man who prefers to remain in the shadows and away from the dysfunction of the Shawcross family. We are introduced to Chloe’s friends, and sisters Jinx and Ivy Johnson, a couple of women whose own lives are turned upside down while partying in Vegas.

BEDDED BLISS is an enjoyable and fateful story with dynamic characters and a captivating romance. Quinn and Elliott vivid imaginations seamlessly blend three series together for an introductory tale that continues to look at the life and loves of an upcoming rock star. The premise is intoxicating; the characters are engaging and passionate; the romance is provocative and emotional. BEDDED BLISS is an intimate look behind the scenes, and into the life of Quinn and Elliot’s latest bad boy guitarist.

Excerpt Black and Hot Pink

Chloe moaned. Why couldn’t she move?
Had she ended up with another Johnson sleeping with her again? Jinx wasn’t usually the cuddling type, but Ivy liked to spoon sometimes. She grunted and tried to wiggle free.
Was Ivy groping her boob? Okay, that might require a conversation about personal space. And seriously when had Ivy become close to two tons? She opened her eyes and immediately slammed them shut. Too bright.
Not good.
So not good.
Just how much had she guzzled last night? And her mouth tasted like death. Thank God it was Sunday. Obviously, she didn’t know how to handle Vegas.
A groan dented her personal flogging. Not a girl groan.
“Oh, fuck.”
No. No. No.
She squeezed her eyes shut so tightly that sparklers started going off behind her eyelids. She didn’t. She wouldn’t.
Flashes of bodies grinding in a dark room tightened her throat.
You can do it. Open your eyes. Big girl panties, goddammit.
Was she wearing panties? She wiggled her legs.
Sweet peaches, she so wasn’t.
Chloe forced herself to open her eyes and look down. Definitely not the shirt she’d been wearing last night. Was that Dave Grohl? Why had her boobs had grown at least two sizes?
Because a male hand was cupping each of them like she was his own personal rock wall.
She suppressed another moan when the man’s hands tightened. His thumb flicked over her nipple and it responded instantly.
“Oh God.”
He groaned and pushed up her shirt. “Round two?” he asked in a fuzzy mumble.
“Round none!” She kicked out and connected with something before she scrambled up against the headboard.
“Fuck me.” The man curled into a fetal position.
Dark hair and naked shoulders. Was that a tattoo? Was he naked under the sheet?
She didn’t wait to find out. She leaped off the bed. Not her hotel room. This one was bigger with only one bed. A lake-sized mattress with tangled white sheets.
She was going to be sick. She lunged for the bathroom, slamming the door and locking it before she skidded in front of the toilet. Her stomach revolted until there was nothing but dry heaves shuddering through her.
“Are you all right?”
No, she wasn’t all right. She’d awakened in a strange hotel room with a strange man. She gripped the edge of the bowl, frowning as something clicked against the porcelain.
She pulled shaking fingers away and flushed, then stumbled to the sink.
Her eyes were bloodshot, her pupils absolutely huge. Blindly, she fumbled with the faucet, causing another clink of metal against metal. She stuck her head under the spray to rinse away the sick.
She needed eight toothbrushes and a magic eraser for her brain.
Actually, not so much on the erasing because she couldn’t remember a damn thing.
How had she ended up here?
Why couldn’t she remember?
Where the hell was her phone?
Auto-pilot kicked in as she pumped soap on her hands. Metal clicked against metal. She still had on Snake’s ring. She couldn’t seem to take it off, but she’d moved it to her right hand.
That was only one hand.
Something flashed on her left hand.
On her ring finger.

About the Author Black and rose

USA Today bestselling author Cari Quinn likes music and men, so she figured why not write about both? When she’s not writing, she’s screaming at men’s college basketball games on TV, playing her music too loud or causing trouble. Sometimes simultaneously.

USA Today bestselling author Taryn Elliott is obsessed with rock stars, men, and her unending playlists–maximizing these things seemed like a very good idea. When she’s not writing, she’s losing hours to hot men on TV, and/or a graphic design project. Multitasking is her middle name.

They decided to combine forces and found that hey…this writing deal is even more awesome when you collaborate with your best friend.

And so Lost in Oblivion was born.

ABOUT THE BOOK: May 24, 2016

Music kept them going. Now it’s torn them apart…

Guitarist Nick Crandall lost the most important thing in his life—his band—just as he was falling in love. A year has passed, and Oblivion is returning from hiatus. And Nick is ready to ask Lila to spend forever with him, even if he won’t have his best friend at his side for the ceremony.

Simon has spent the past year trying to find his way back to the thing that sustained him in his darkest hours, then grew to be his biggest demon. Margo has been at his side, but she’s tired of him denying his dreams. With her help, he’s ready to admit it’s showtime.

Perhaps he’s even ready to stand up for his best friend…and face him on the stage that united them so long ago.

It’s do or die, one more time.

**The guys—and their women—are in the driver’s seat in Owned, and the ride’s gonna rock. This is the FINAL book in the Lost in Oblivion rockstar series.**

••••••••••••

REVIEW: OWNED is the fifth full length and final installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult LOST IN OBLIVION erotic, rock romance series focusing on the member of the rock band Oblivion. OWNED can be read as a stand alone but for cohesion and plenty of back story, I recommend reading the series in order as many of the events of the current time line began in previous installments.

Told from four –third party points of view (Simon, Margo, Nick and Lila) OWNED follows the two couples and their relationships that suffer, due mostly in part, to Simon’s ongoing issues with losing his voice, and his year long recovery that have left the other members of the band floundering in their professional lives. Although no one is at fault for Simon’s ruined vocal chords, Nick blames his lead singer for the destruction of the band. What ensues are two separate but entangled story lines where two couples struggle to reunite the band along with a lifelong friendship that has been destroyed by hurtful words and physical discord.

OWNED is the culmination of twelve installments including five full length stories and 7 novellas that focused on the relationships, friendships, successes and failures of the rock band Oblivion. LOST IN OBLIVION is a series not only about rock musicians and the people they love, but a series about family-by blood and by association. The breakdown of a friendship all but destroys a once up and coming successful band- a friendship that has weathered many storms of personal and professional failure. The heartbreak and emotional fall out affects everyone involved but none more so than Nick Crandall who is unable to continue without his best friend-a friend he doesn’t know is suffering from something much more than the loss of his voice.

Quinn and Elliott pull the reader behind the scenes of not one, not two but three relationships and how their downward spiral has a physical and emotional affect on friendships, family and personal relationships that struggle to move forward. All of the previous story line characters and couples play secondary and supporting roles; we are witness to expanding families, promises for the future, and the formation of a new band and another spin off series-Found in Oblivion. There is already a previous spin off series-HAMMERED-featuring a number of cross overs between both series.

OWNED is an emotional and poignant story line about friendship, family and love. The premise is inspiring and heartwarming; the characters are spirited, provocative and intoxicating; the romances are seductive and erotic-there are numerous passionate and sensual $ex scenes throughout the story. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott have written an addicting series that I would recommend every time -who doesn’t love a bad boy rocker that can be tamed by the woman he loves.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date April 8, 2016

My name is Faith Keystone, but my friends call me Keys. I’m the piano player for Hammered. Did I mention I’m the only female in my band? That means I technically have five older brothers. Can’t forget my manager and security team, too. Alone time is nonexistent. I escaped an overbearing family to join this happy circus, and most of the time it’s awesome. Except now, because of one teensy little incident at a show.

Now I have this hulking bodyguard shadowing me like a freaking puppy. Only this puppy is more like a Doberman with an attitude problem. And he only knows one word—NO.

I hate that word. And I hate Quinn Alexander. The one thing I do like is giving him the slip. Is it wrong that I kinda like when he growls at me after he finds me? Because he always finds me. Worst of all? I want him so bad that I keep forgetting I hate him

••••••••••

REVIEW: MANHANDLED is the second installment Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s erotic, rock romance series focusing on the band Hammered. This is keyboardist Faith ‘Keys’ Keystone, and former Ranger/security specialist Quinn Alexander’s story line. MANHANDLED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Quinn and Elliott’s HAMMERED is a spin of from their best selling Lost in Oblivion rock series. You do not have to have read the original series to understand the premise of the Hammered series. There is an occasional character cross-over between the series.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Faith and Quinn) MANHANDLED focuses on Faith; a stalker who has attempted to abduct our heroine; and the bodyguard who will protect Faith with his body and his heart. What ensues is a forbidden relationship between Faith and Quinn, when our hero begins to fall for the client he has been hired to protect.

Quinn is a man hired to do a job and Faith is unlike any of his previous clients. She is snarky, funny, energetic and a little bit crazy for the likes of Quinn, but Quinn is a man determined to never repeat the darkness that invaded his life once before. Quinn likes regimented order and schedules, while Faith is a woman on the move 24/7. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense and hot. The sexual tension is palpable and frenetic.

All of the previous story line characters play secondary and supporting roles throughout the story. There is still a bit of a mystery surrounding Reed aka Bats, and his constant disappearing act as well as his ‘relationship’ with a woman who isn’t welcome with band. Faith’s BFF Owen is someone whose story needs to be told soon.

MANHANDLED is a fun and intoxicating read. The premise is imaginative and uplifting; the characters are passionate and intense; the romance is provocative and electric. Quinn and Elliott’s writing flows seamlessly touching the heart and soul of every reader.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 2, 2016

They’re shattered…and he’s the only one who can fuse them back together.

From the pinnacle of success to the depths of despair, the band Oblivion has been through it all. Now in the super hot conclusion to the Lost in Oblivion series, Nick Crandall, the lead guitarist and the one most likely to cause a band breakup, is the only one who can begin to put the pieces back together after the most catastrophic night of his life.

His only choice is to fight hard for what—and who—he loves.

And oh so dirty.

•••••

REVIEW: FUSED is #4.5 and second to last installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult LOST IN OBLIVION erotic, romance series focusing on the member of the rock band OBLIVION. FUSED picks up immediately following the events of SHATTERED, and crosses over into the Christmas novella GIFTED.

NOTE: If you have not read the previous SHATTERED, my review may contain some spoilers.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Nick and Lila) FUSED is the continuing story of Nick and Lila’s relationship, and the beginning of the end for the band OBLIVION. Lead singer Simon Kagan continues to have issues with his voice, and he targets his best friend Nick Crandall following Simon’s latest melt down on stage that saw Simon storm out and Nick taking the brunt of Simon’s emotional tirade. What ensues are Lila’s attempts to keep the band together while setting up the possibility of a new band on the horizon.

The relationship between Nick and Lila continues to be tempestuous. Nick is a man in love with a woman whose secrets and personal life keep falling off the rails. Lila is determined to prove that she is capable of keeping her public and private life separate but pushing Nick away is the hardest thing she will ever have to do.

All of the members of OBLIVION play secondary and supporting roles. While Simon continues to wallow is self doubt and the blame game, the remaining members of the band decide it may be time to think about a different kind of future-without the band.

FUSED is an emotional story line where lifelong friendships are threatened by jealousy, insecurity, and the mental and physical health of Oblivion’s leading singer. The premise is revealing and intense; the characters are passionate, tormented and heartbreaking; the romance is provocative and seductive. FUSED is a free fall of emotions for both the reader and the characters we love.
