ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date December 5, 2023

Annie Hancock is finally following her dreams, studying for her graduate degree to become a professional artist. But when someone starts to leave threatening notes around her studio and dorm, Annie can’t help but wonder…who’s after her and why? She doesn’t know who to trust or keep herself safe.

Arrow has been grinding for years as a bounty hunter and private investigator. After setting down roots and opening his own office, his business doesn’t take off the way he’d hoped. Just when he’s about to change course, a beautiful woman is in desperate need of his services.

But what starts out as a simple assignment becomes more complicated when they’re forced into hiding. And as the threat gets closer, and the attraction becomes hotter, they’ll need to decide if what they have is real or driven by danger.

REVIEW: Broken Arrow is book four in the Open Road series by the ever talented Chelle Bliss. While the book is a standalone, it is recommended to read in series order.

Annie is working at living her dream with her art, things are finally starting to come together. But there is a dark cloud following her. Someone is sending her threatening notes and stalking her. After the last one, she finally decided to seek some help. Too bad no one is taking it seriously. On a final last ditch effort, Annie takes a chance on one last PI, Arrow’s.

When Arrow meets Annie he sees a damsel in distress so of course he wants to help, but it’s something more. He’s drawn to her. When she tells him about her case, he is concerned and agrees to help her. Very quickly Annie’s drama takes turn after turn of crazy.

To throw off the person behind Annie’s stalking; the pair decide to fake date. And what a way this does for them.

This is a fast paced, spicy read that will tug on your heartstrings and spice up life. Arrow and Annie are cute and funny together, and their situation while unconventional, makes a really good read.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 3, 2023

Olive Thornbury only had one crush in high school, and his name was Asher Gallo. She was smitten with him from the first time she had laid eyes on him. But instead of acting on how she felt, she kept her nose stuck in a book, finding safety in the words rather than emotions.

Asher had never thought of Olive as anything more than a friend. She was aloof, preferring to read books. instead of spending time with her friends. And when she moved away almost a decade ago, their friendship quickly disintegrated.

But when Olive returns to visit a local university, she never expected to run into a very grown up and even more handsome Asher. And what starts off as a rekindling of an old friendship turns into a fiery relationship.

Do the opposites have enough in common to go the distance? Or will their combustible chemistry cause the flames to turn everything into cinders?

•••••

REVIEW: The next Men of Inked: Heatwave installment is here with Cinder by the ever talented Chelle Bliss. This is a continuation of an extended series, but a majority of the books can be read as stand-alones.

The Gallo family are near and dear to me, they almost feel like family with how much time I have spent reading about them. With Cinder, we get Asher and Olive’s story. It’s a bit of a coming home story for me, Olive and Asher grew up together and she had all the feels for him. As life went on, they went their separate ways, but when they both return to their hometown and see each other again, who knows what will happen. Their story is a sweet, loving, meaningful story that readers are going to love.

For a Chelle Bliss book this was a little fast paced and didn’t leave enough room to develop the character fully, but nonetheless a really good addition to the Gallo series.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 8, 2023

Grace Bianchi has always been drawn to men who are allergic to relationships. But when a mysterious man walks into her shop, saving her from a disaster, she finds herself wondering… is he different than the others?

Ryder Cooper is fumbling his way through life. He’s been lost since his wife passed away, leaving him to raise two young children alone. But when he meets a beautiful tattoo artist with a zest for life, she makes him wonder…could he love again?

Never Too Soon is a journey of two broken hearts who believe in love as they mend their broken hearts, finding their happily ever after.

••••••

REVIEW: Just when I think Chelle Bliss already has me hooked, she writes another amazing story. Never Too Soon is the second installment in the Star Falls series, and what a lovely story it is! A single dad, with two adorable kiddos, meets a jaded tattoo artist…what could be more perfect?

Ryder and his two children; Luke and Cora arrive in the small town of Star Falls hoping for a new start after the loss of his wife, but what they weren’t expecting was Grace. Ryder is taken with her from the first moment he sees her, her kind eyes and how naturally maternal she is with his children. He wasn’t looking for love again, but just maybe love was looking for him. Grace on the other hand doesn’t have much faith left in men, every relationship she has ever had has crashed and burned. This has left her somewhat jaded. When Ryder and his children arrive at Star Falls, the chemistry she feels with not only Ryder but the children as well, surprises her, they are everything she wants, but can it really be that easy?

I loved that this was a slow burn romance, it really gave the characters time to develop. Gracie’s relationship with Luke and Cora was so sweet, you could tell just how much she cared about them, even when things were dramatic. Ryder and Gracie were funny at times, and I think that helped with the craziness when they first “try” to date, it was one oops after another with them. It is rare to find a book that bases more on the emotional side of a relationship than a physical one when it comes to romance, not that Ryder and Gracie didn’t have their spicy moments.

I look forward to seeing what else Star Falls has in store for us next.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date June 13, 2023

Stone Gallo has lived life like every day is a party. No attachments, no responsibilities, and absolutely no falling in love. He spent his days at Inked and his nights wherever he pleased. But when Stone rescues a beautiful woman in need, his entire world gets turned upside down, and he’ll never be the same.

Opal hasn’t had much luck in life. No family, no friends, and absolutely no love. But when a handsome tattoo artist steps in and saves her from a horrible situation, her entire world changes. She’s immediately sucked in by his charming family, wanting nothing more than to be one of them, but knows it’s not in the cards for her…it never is.

But when fate steps in, they can’t stop what’s coming—Stone and Opal sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g…

•••••

REVIEW:Chelle Bliss is taking us back into the world of the Gallo men, and boy oh boy am I ready! This is the next installment in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. As always, I recommend reading in order, but Inferno can be read as a standalone as well.

Stone Gallo does what he wants, when he wants, and most of the time who he likes as well, he lives his life with no attachments other than those of his family. This may come off cold to some, but he is the way he is and he makes no fuss about it. With a name like Stone you would think he would be as cold as one, but no. Stone has major golden retriever vibes and a heart of gold, even if he keeps it hidden. Stone is content to live his life just like he has been, but it would seem that life has other ideas in mind for him.

Enter Opal. Opal was born with a little black rain cloud. Her life has been one crappy thing after another since the passing of her family. When she walks into a tattoo shop with her boyfriend she wasn’t expecting someone like Stone. When said future ex-boyfriend starts…lets say respecting Opal in front of Stone, he is quick to act. Stone was raised to protect and respect women, so seeing what he does, he jumps right in to rescue poor Opal.

Opal and Stone are an unlikely pair, but one that I very much enjoyed reading. The Gallo’s are a family filled with love, kindness, respect and protectiveness, things that Opal hasn’t experienced much of in life. Their chemistry is amazing, their dynamic interesting and the plot keeps the reader engaged waiting for the next page with bated breath. I can’t wait to see what the Gallo Guys give us next.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date January 24, 2023

Trace Caldo’s smart mouth always gets him in trouble. As the youngest of three brothers, he’s used to scrapping to earn respect. But when he picks a fight with the wrong person, Trace ends up kidnapped, bound, and blindfolded with no hope for escape. And when a beautiful woman comes to his rescue and offers him a way to staying alive, Trace can’t refuse her.

Ana Marie Kelly appears to live a charmed life. Raised in a wealthy family, she has everything a woman can want—if you don’t count freedom. Ana’s always been under her father’s thumb, expected to do as she’s told and not bring shame upon the family. But when Ana makes a mistake that could send her life in a tailspin, she can only think of one way out—the handsome man in her father’s garage.

…and their only way out is to say, “I do.”

••••

REVIEW: The Gallo’s are near and dear to me, and Ana even more so. Ana’s story is one of strength, perseverance, love and determination. I am so overjoyed that she finally got her HEA. Torch is the eleventh installment in the Men Of Inked: Heatwave spinoff by the ever talented Chelle Bliss.

Without too many spoilers, Ana’s life isn’t all that it is cracked up to be. Sure, she was raised by a wealthy family, has never had to want for anything, but that is only on the surface. What is underneath all that fake is something far darker. Ana is a woman with no freedom, she exists solely for her family, and is controlled by a father who will never let her go. Poor Ana has been mentally abused and belittled her entire life. Enough is enough already. She has to get out, and the only way to do that is to help the man than her father kidnapped

Trace is the youngest of the Caldo brothers and the one that always finds himself in need of rescue one way or the other. Well this time he needs more than just a helping hand, he needs an actual rescue. He’s been kidnapped. When the unknown Ana comes to his aid at random, he is surprised, but doesn’t care, he just wants to get out of there. However, to save each other they are going to have to do something extreme, something that ends with I Do.

I loved Trace and Ana together! Trace has always come off as cocky, no cares guys that didn’t have a worry in the world, but that quickly changed when Ana came into the picture. It was so amazing to watch as Ana came out of her shell under Trace and his family’s guidance. They treated her like she had always been a part of their family, it was so moving. A real family is all Ana has truly ever dreamt of, and Trace was the one that gave it to her. Of course there is some drama towards the end, and Trace and Ana are tested, but that won’t stop them, they both are determined to keep what they have found.

Torch was a fantastically wonderful read that will surely bring joy to its readers.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date October 4, 2022

Logan “Crow” Taylor had every intention of not getting involved in trouble after gaining his freedom and rejoining his motorcycle club. But when the rough and rowdy biker crosses paths with a single mother in need of help and his protection, he can’t turn his back and walk away.

•••••

REVIEW:Ms. Bliss is back at it again with her rough and tumble, tattooed alphas. Broken Wings is the third installment in the Open Road series, and wow does this series get better and better with each new addition.

Birdie and Crow’s story is an emotional adventure, but one that I think every reader will enjoy. Crow has been released from prison and is determined to get his life back not only for himself but with his club. On his way however, what he wasn’t expecting to encounter was a single mother who needs not only help but protection as well. Birdie and her daughter Mia are scared, you can tell that with a single look, but they are also desperate. Taking help from Crow and his MC brothers, Bridie comes to see more of who they are and what they are about.

Birdie and Crow both have past trauma and issues that they let shadow their feelings for a good part of the story, but every good romance needs a little drama. Bridie is smack dab in the middle of a very stressful situation, and when Crow comes to her aid in all his knight in shining motorcycle boots, she wants nothing more than to trust him. Join them on their fantastic quest of finding love, family and hope.

Broken Wings is a spicy, funny, emotional journey with a fast paced storyline. Anyone that loves a good MC romance is sure to like this read.

ABOUT THE BOOK: RELEASE DATE: August 2, 2022

After spending years of his life in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Nevin Walsh doesn’t know where he fits in anymore. His family has changed, and the world is a very different place.

But then, his brother’s best friend, Luna Gallo, makes it her personal mission to help him settle back into his newfound freedom. He should say no. Turn her away. But there’s something about the woman who radiates sunshine that makes her impossible to ignore. And the harder he pushes her away, the harder she comes.

And what starts off as an unwanted friendship turns into something he never expects. But can Nevin let go of the hurt from his past to allow himself happiness in his future?

•••••

REVIEW: The Men of Ink are back with the Heatwave book ten, and this one hits all the feels. As I always do, I recommend reading the series in order, but it can be read as a standalone.

Nevin Walsh is out of prison and breathing fresh air again, after serving time for a crime he didn’t commit. Things are not as he remembers, people have moved on, family is gone, and the places he thought would never change are harder than ever to recognize. He has resigned himself to his new life, but Luna has other plans. Plans that will test his hard earned patience.

Luna is a Gallo, and we all know what that means. With a promise to Nevin’s brother Ian; her very own best friend, she is determined to help Nevin assimilate to a life of freedom. Nevin is all doom and gloom, and Luna is a happy ray of sunshine. They butt heads at every turn, but that also leads them to their connection and chemistry. With a future now brighter than he ever thought possible again, can Nevin let go of the pain of his past and move on?

I adore the grumpy sunshine trope!! It was such an adventure. Reading as Luna broke down the walls that Nevin had built to protect himself, to see his vulnerability and hope. Nevin wants Luna more than his next breath before he finally gives into her charms. When they finally make a breakthrough, Luna is out for blood when she decides that Nevin is it for her. Nevin thinks he is alone in the world, with no one on his side anymore, little does he know that Luna is not only on his side, but so is the rest of the Gallo clan.

I have loved the Gallo series so much and I am always going back to read my favorites. Nevin and Luna have definitely cracked the top five. Chelle Bliss’ track record of amazing books is still intact, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date February 15, 2022

A simple arrangement. A complicated future.

Lia Dove has always been a free spirit, living life to the fullest and never putting down roots. But after finding her birth father, along with a group of lovable, rowdy bikers, she can’t imagine being anywhere else. Throw in a hot biker roommate who offers her no-strings-attached deal as the cherry on top and leaving becomes an afterthought.

Leo Hawk has never felt part of anything until he becomes a prospect in a local motorcycle club. But catching feelings for his roommate, who’s also the club president’s daughter, could spell disaster before he earns his patch.
But when the past comes back to haunt him thanks to his missing older brother, Leo will have to lean on his biker brothers for help, risking a future with the club and the woman he’s grown to love.

•••••

REVIEW:Broken Dove (LOVE the name) is the second installment in the Open Road series by Chelle Bliss. In this tantalizing story, Lia and Leo are at the forefront.

We met Lia and Leo in book one (Broken Sparrow) of the series with Morris and Alice. If you haven’t read that one yet, I recommend you do, it’s not required as the book can be read as a standalone, but it’s so good! Broken Dove is a warm, friends to lovers romance that will leave the reader smiling and happy after finishing.

Lia is a tree hugging hippie, she has got to be the most laid back, free spirited woman I have ever read. After finding her place with her birth father, Lia and her puppies share a space with the yummy Leo, one of her fathers prospects to the club. Life is good, until it isn’t and Lia and Leo must band together to stop things from changing. The drama I guess you call it in this book was a little flimsy to me, not that it wasn’t believable, but for a MC book I was expecting a little something more.

Lia and Leo are bumping boots but keeping things on the down low. They have crazy strong chemistry, but they don’t want to make it a big thing, at least not until the drama hits. When Leo finds out that his brother is back in town and already in trouble, Lia and Leo join together to find out the truth of what is going on. Leo’s past comes into play when things with his brother comes to a head and Leo must decide just how he is going to protect his new found relationship.

Overall I liked the book, it was missing something, I’m just not sure what. The reading was good and I liked the characters. Lia is a funny character and I would be happy to read her again.
