ABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 26, 2020

Everything changed the night my boyfriend died.
What should’ve been the most special moment of my life turned into a nightmare. Because of Hunter Chargill, I lost the love of my life. I’ll never forgive him.
Hunter used to be one of my best friends but it turns out he’s nothing more than an arrogant a-hole determined to make my life a living hell with his lies.
But he should’ve known you can’t break something that’s already broken.

I manage to avoid him until my freshman year at Trinity Academy. Our cruel words and intimidating touches quickly spark a flame and instead of us going down in a blaze of hatred, desire sizzles to life.
I know I’m in trouble when I start enjoying our fights. Instead of wanting to punch him, I find myself wondering what his lips would feel like on mine.

A stupid game. One kiss. And my perfectly constructed walls come crashing down around me.
I should feel guilty and make Hunter pay for what he’s done.
But sometimes a tormentor turns out to be a protector.

Coldhearted Heir is a stand-alone, College Romance. It deals with a sensitive subject.

REVIEW:Coldhearted Heir is book one in The Heirs series by Michelle Heard. What culminates as the ultimate clash / crossover story from her Enemies to Lovers and Trinity Academy series.

We are back at Trinity Academy but now we are there with the children from the Enemies to Lovers and Trinity Academy series.

The Heirs…

Jade Edwards life was changed by the ultimate tragedy when she was sixteen years old. Her boyfriend of one year Brady tragically passes away. Her world as she knows it is turned upside down and chaotic. Now eighteen she still blames one person and one person only for changing the course of her entire life.

Once best friends and as close as two could possibly be, they are now enemies who use each moment together to cause the other pain.Jade is bound and determined to make Hunter pay for the untimely death of her boyfriend years ago. She uses every chance she gets to remind Hunter of what he has done to cause her so much pain. Hunter takes everything Jade dishes him. For two years he puts up with her constant hate filled reminders and need for revenge.

Once at Trinity Academy, and the fact that they now live together in the same dorm, the friction between the two begins to cause friction among their heir friends base.Jade Daniels has spent most weekends of the last two years with her Navy Seal grandfather learning how to fight. She wants nothing more than for Hunter to pay for causing Brady’s death. She is consumed by nothing but hate for her once best friend. But when she comes face to face with Hunter at Trinity Academy things begin to change. She begins to see how he has grown and has even become more attractive. She continues to harass Hunter every chance she gets. What she seeks is the truth of what happened the night when Brady died. She is bound and determined to get the truth out of him. But every time Hunter tells her the truth she call him a liar, and does not believe him. Then one fateful night out, one game, one kiss – things begin to change. With their friends becoming tired of the constant back and forth, Fallon calls Brady’s older brother to come and talk to Jade about what happened that night to cause Brady to pass away. Once her conversation with Brady’s brother ends – Jade realizes she has made a terrible mistake. She realizes she has spent the last two years blaming Hunter for something he did not do. Blaming him for causing the death of Brady, accusing him of being a murderer. Once the truth comes out, and she tries to apologize to Hunter, all hell breaks loose. Hunter has spent the last two years taking every bit of crap Jade has thrown his way

Hunter Chargill, heir to Trinity Academy and CRC Holdings, is in his final year at Trinity. He has done everything he can to repair his friendship with Jade. Now with her moving into his dorm he knows that the only thing he can do is try to make things right with her. But Jade never listens to reason. And every interaction with her turns into a fight or shouting match. Hunter is a good man, he knows in his heart he did nothing to cause the death of Brady but how can he convince Jade of the truth. And when did Jade grow up and become so attractive. Hunter’s feelings for Jade boil to the surface as he still trying to prove the truth to her. Once Jade knows that truth her apology is too much for Hunter to handle. Hunter is hurt and mad and just plain ticked that Jade would never take his word for it.

This story was perfect and you could tell that Hunter comes from good blood. He is every bit the man his father is. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the next chapter in these series. I loved traveling back to Trinity Academy and experiencing the world through the children.

You could read each series alone – but why would you – there is an incredible world created by these three series and highly recommend them to everyone. You can get lost in the story and get carried away.

Highly recommend.
