This is forty-eight year year old head of the Ramirez cartel Alejandro Ramirez, and twenty-five year old nanny Lucia Ferreira’s story line. RUTHLESS KING can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Alejandro and Lucia) RUTHLESS KING follows in the wake of the abduction of Lucia and her father William Ferreira. William Ferreira owes millions of dollars to the mob, and Lucia is about to pay the price for her fathers transgressions. Alejandro Ramirez is the current head of the Ramirez Cartel, and needs a nanny for his one year old niece, and Lucia is ripe for the picking but what Alejandro doesn’t know is that Lucia has been tasked with uncovering any and all information about our story line hero, a man who is falling for his niece’s nanny. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Alejandro and Lucia, and the potential fall-out as betrayal against Alejandro comes from within including our story line heroine.

Lucia Ferreira doesn’t want to spy for the man known as El Diablo but her father’s life hangs in the balance, and Lucia is forced to gather information against the man with she will fall in love. Alejandro Ramirez lost everything approximately one and half years earlier, instantly becoming a single father to his two week old niece in the wake of her parents murder but Alejandro has spent the last few months desperately searching for the people responsible never realizing that the answer to his vengeance is the woman with whom he will fall in love.
The relationship between Lucia and Alejandro is an age-gap romance wherein Alejandro hires Lucia to be both nanny and a woman to warm his bed. From the outset their mutual attraction is palpable but Lucia knows that if her secrets are revealed, her life will be forfeit, along with the life of her father back home. The $ex scenes are intimate, seductive and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters many of whom we have met in previous story lines. We are introduced to several of Alejandro’s security and members of the Ramirez Cartel, as well as Lucia’s father William, and the housekeeper/ former nanny Estelle. The requisite evil has many faces.

RUTHLESS KING is a story of betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, power and control, trust and obsession. The premise is heart breaking and emotional; the romance is captivating and provocative; the characters are broken, desperate , charismatic and lost.

Raw heat is still streaking through my body just from the mere handshake.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more perfect man. 

Eyes the shade of a crow’s wing are locked on mine, and full symmetrical lips quirk up into a mercurial smile.

His face is all angles with high exotic cheekbones and a chiseled jaw you’d find on a storybook prince. The bright morning sun shines over his skin, making it look like the sun kissed it that color bronze. 

The gray streaks in his beard, hairline, and temples only serve to highlight his beauty and strength in what I can see of the rest of his body. As if to highlight that his perfection came with age and he’ll look even better and better, and sexier, the older he gets. The silver hoop in his ear tames him a fraction, adding to his style but also conjuring the image of a pirate in my mind. It gives a glimpse of the conquering cartel king he is. 

Of course, I was given a picture of Alejandro Ramírez before coming to this ill-fated interview. So, I already knew he looks like a seamless blend of Antonio Banderas and my all-time favorite Mexican actor Eduardo Verástegui. 

Alejandro is what they would look like if they were one person. 

The lucid image makes me wonder if I really am stuck in a fucked-up rendition of a dark fairytale. One where he is the prince and I’m the villain, or maybe everyone is the antithesis to good in this story.

The relationship between Eric and Summer begins when Summer is abducted by shortly after her arrival back home in California. Eric’s attraction to Summer is immediate, and with it some questionable motives and ambiguous consent. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense but I struggle with the use of a certain four-letter word.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Eric’s right hand man Borya, bodyguard Oleg, housekeeper and cook Lyssa, Pakhan Aiden Romanov, Dominic D’Agostino and Alejandro Ramirez, Eric’s sister Olivia, and Summer’s father John Reeves. The requisite evil has many faces.

HEARTLESS LOVER is a story of betrayal and revenge, power and control, secrets and lies, abuse, murder, seduction and love. The premise is dark, gritty and heart breaking; the romance is impassioned and aggressive; the characters are energetic, broken but healing.

This is thirty-six year old, Bratva Pakhan of the Los Angeles Brotherhood Aiden Romanov, and twenty-six year old Olivia Markov’s story line. MERCILESS HUNTER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion. MERCLIESS HUNTER is the introductory storyline to the next arc of the series.

Fast forward to present day wherein a young woman set about to seduce our story line hero in an effort to locate her missing brother Eric. Enter Olivia Markov, and the woman with whom Aiden will fall in love. Olivia’s brother has been missing for close to five years, presumed dead in car crash, but Olivia suspects her brother is alive and is desperate for Aiden’s help. “Where do we go from here? Where do we even start?”
That is the real problem. What do we do with this information?
“My best guess is that our next move should be to go to L.A. and find a way to see what Aiden Romanov knows,” Amy replies.
“But who can go?” Mom rasps. It’s another good question.
“I was thinking I could—” Amy begins but I cut her off by raising my hand.
“No. If your next words were to go to L.A. then it’s a no,” I answer and Mom nods.
“We are not putting you in any more danger,” Mom agrees.
“I don’t know what I would do if something happened to you,” I say. “Please tell me Jude won’t know you helped us.”
“No, he won’t. My contact works outside the realms of everything, and that’s why I didn’t use any of my devices at work or at home. He will never know.”
“Good. I think that’s it. You should stop helping now.”
“I can’t just stop helping. What are you going to do?” Her brows pinch and the worry I saw earlier in her bright green eyes intensifies.
What am I going to do?
That’s such a good question.
Eric’s in captivity, and if I marry Jude, the same fate awaits me. Marrying him will be the anchor to my hell.
I will be in captivity, and what do I think is going to happen to Mom?

When I think about yesterday when I saw Jude and the way he treated me I shudder inwardly.
He wants us to focus on that fucking wedding, and every time the word is mentioned I feel like I want to die.
I close my eyes and the thought of the wedding stirs an idea in my mind. An idea that just might work. My eyes snap open and I look at Amy and then at Mom.
“I think I might have come up with something. Something that will get me to Aiden Romanov.”

As their relationship continues to build, Tristan knows it is only a matter of time before he will have to let go of the woman with whom he is falling in love. From the outset Massimo meant to break his beautiful Mafia princess but would soon discover that Emelia was the balm to his shattered heart. The $ex scenes are aggressive, intense and passionate but I struggled with the use of a certain four-letter word.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Massimo’s brothers Dominic, Andreas and Tristan, as well as their father Giacomo D’Agostino; Riccardo Balesteri; Bratva assassin Vlad Kuznetsov; Emelia’s best friend Jacob, housekeeper Priscilla, Candace, and Massimo’s ex Gabriella. Not everyone will survive to see another day.

RUTHLESS PRINCE is a story of family, blood, honor and death; a story of betrayal and vengeance; retribution and retaliation; deception, secrets and lies, power and control. The premise is gritty and dark; the characters are edgy and tragic; the romance is dramatic and provocative. The world building set the stage for the upcoming war as Massimo sets out to reform the Syndicate in the face of a new enemy known as the Circle of Shadows.

“You can’t have me,” I cry.
“The contract we signed earlier says different, Princess.” He smiles. “We will be married in one month’s time and that is all you need to know.”
“There must be some other way my father can pay you back. Let me go.”
“No. I’m the one the debt is owed. I choose how I want to be paid.”
“There must be some other way.”
“I’m sure there is, except I’ve done exactly what I wanted to do,” he answers.
My heart squeezes. This is the man I’m supposed to marry. While he looks like a fairytale prince, he’s not.
“It’s wrong. You must know that.”
“Stop it,” he orders. His smile fades. That cool, calm demeanor returns, and I realize then that this is his dangerous side. “Stop trying to prey on my good side. I don’t have one.”
“Don’t you have a heart?” I make one final attempt to reach whatever I see in him that might resemble something human.
“No.” He smirks, and my soul quivers.
